Description
本発明は、吸収性物品、例えば、使い捨て吸収性物品、例えば、おむつ、女性用衛生物品又は失禁用具に、食品用パッド、ベッド用パッド、ペット用パッド等に使用される吸収性ウェブ、並びにかかるウェブの製造に関するものである。本発明は、特に、エアレイドウェブに適用され得る。
超吸収性材料を含む複合構造体は、特に、吸収性物品、例えば、使い捨て吸収性物品、例えば、乳児又は成人用失禁おむつ、女性用衛生製品、食品用パッド、ベッド用パッド、ペット用パッド等の用途のためによく知られている。また、効果的且つ効率的に浸出液の捕捉、分散及び保持の機能を担う主要な液体を満たすために、特に着用者の、ユーザによる知覚と受容が、例えば、着用の快適さ又は分離性に関して、ますます注目の分野になっている。
第一の態様では、本発明は、液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブであり、これはデカルト座標で、製造プロセスの機械方向に沿って、実質的に無限の(x方向)長さ、更なる厚さ又はz方向及び幅(y)方向を示す。吸収性ウェブは、サンドイッチ形成材として
− インサイチュで形成された又は予め形成されたウェブの形で、好ましくは、セルロース繊維を含む、第1の外層及び第2の外層;
− 外層の間に挟まれた超吸収剤材料(SAM)、好ましくは粒状SAM;
− 好ましくはセルロース繊維を含む、SAMの間に散在するように適合された個別化繊維;
− 自己架橋性ラテックス結合剤
を含む。
全てサンドイッチ成形材の質量の合計を基準とした質量%として
− 約70%〜約90%のSAM;
− 約5%〜25%のSAMの間に散在する繊維;
− 約2%〜約15%の第1の外層;
− 約2%〜約15%の第2の外層;
− 約1%〜約5%の自己架橋性ラテックス結合剤
の吸収性ウェブに存在する。
− 約80%〜約90%のSAM;
− 約8%〜15%のSAMの間に散在する繊維;
− 約2%〜約10%の第1の外層;
− 約2%〜約10%の第2の外層;
− 約2%〜約4%の自己架橋性ラテックス結合剤。
− 本願明細書に記載される方法により、少なくとも23g/g、好ましくは24g/gを上回る、更に好ましくは25g/gを上回る吸収性ウェブ遠心保持容量;
− SAM遠心保持容量の少なくとも85%、好ましくは90%を上回る、更に好ましくは93%を上回る吸収性ウェブ遠心保持容量;
− 5.0未満、好ましくは3.0未満、更に好ましくは2.5未満、最も好ましくは2.0未満の、本願明細書に記載されるような、ウェブ材料の剛性と面積比容量の比によって決定される、容量に対する剛性の比(全て(mNcm)/(l/m2)の単位である)。

− 好ましくは、セルロース繊維を含む、インサイチュで形成された又は予め形成されたウェブの形態の、第1の外層と第2の外層;
− 超吸収性材料(SAM)、好ましくは粒状SAM;

外層の外表面のうち少なくとも1つに適用する工程;
− 含水率を低減するためにサンドイッチ構造体を熱処理し、且つ自己架橋性ラテックス結合剤の架橋を誘導する工程;
− サンドイッチ構造体を1つ以上の圧縮工程で圧縮する工程;
− 任意にサンドイッチ構造体を介してz方向に真空吸引を適用する工程
を含む。
図1は、本発明による液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブを製造するための例示的なプロセスセットアップを概略的に示す。
ここで本発明の実施態様を詳細に説明し、これは本発明を説明することを意図しているが、必ずしも本発明の限定を意味するものではない。例えば、一実施態様の一部として例示又は記載された特徴は、第3の実施態様を更に得るために、別の実施態様と一緒に使用され得る。本発明は、これらの及び他の変更並びに変形を含むことが意図されている。
− 中心層は、5%〜25%の間の繊維、好ましくはそこに散在するセルロース繊維と混合された、少なくとも70%、好ましくは75%、更に好ましくは80%を上回る、最も好ましくは85%を上回るSAMを含む。好ましくは、中心層は、中心層中のSAM、繊維及び結合剤材料の量を基準として、5%まで、更に好ましくは1%未満、最も好ましくは0.1%未満の添加された結合剤材料を含む。

a)プロセスは、外層を提供する工程を含む。かかる層は、予め形成されてよく且つ巻き戻したロールストックから提供されるか又は箱から出されてもよい。あるいは、外側層は、サンドイッチ構造体の形成の同じ製造プロセスで、例えば、繊維の層、任意に繊維の混合物の形成によって、形成され得る。任意に、かかる繊維状バットは予め形成されたウェブ上に形成され得る。インライン形成された層は、例えば、滑らかな又はエンボス加工された、任意に加熱されたロールによるカレンダー加工などの結合処理が施され得る。
d1)第1の低圧圧縮は、これがSAM及び繊維混合物の添加前に少なくとも部分的にインサイチュで(又はインラインで)形成される場合、キャリアウェブに適用されてよい。低圧圧縮は、滑らかなロールを用いて行うことができ、例えば、表面の密度及び完全性、又は滑らかさを増加させることによって、更なる処理工程を容易にし得る。

吸収性サンドイッチウェブとかかるウェブの製造方法の両方を記載した後に、特定の実施と得られた吸収性サンドイッチウェブの製造を以下に例示的に記載する。当業者は、種々の組成及び特性を有する材料を得るプロセスの設定を調整するための様々な可能性を容易に理解している。

Claims (15)
- デカルト座標において製造プロセスの機械方向に沿って実質的に無限の(x方向)長さを示し、更に厚さ又はz方向及び幅(y)方向を示し、且つ
サンドイッチ成形材として
− インサイチュで形成された又は予め形成されたウェブの形態の、第1の外層と第2の外層;
− 前記外層の間に挟まれた、超吸収性材料(SAM);
− 前記SAMの間に散在するように適合され、個別化された繊維;
− 自己架橋性ラテックス結合剤
を含む、液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブであって、
前記サンドイッチ成形材が、以下の組成物:
全てサンドイッチ形成材の質量の合計を基準とした質量%として
− 70%〜90%のSAM;
− 5%〜25%のSAMの間に散在する繊維;
− 2%〜15%の第1の外層;
− 2%〜15%の第2の外層;
− 1%〜5%の自己架橋性ラテックス結合剤
に存在し、且つ
前記組成物が、前記ウェブのx方向及びy方向にわたって実質的に均一であることを特徴とする、前記液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブ。 - 前記自己架橋性ラテックスが、前記第1の外層及び前記第2の外層のうち少なくとも1つに存在し且つ前記第1の層と前記第2の層との間にある前記SAMと前記繊維との混合物中に存在する、請求項1に記載の液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブ。
- 以下の濃度:
− 80%〜90%のSAM;
− 8%〜15%のSAMの間に散在する繊維;
− 2%〜10%の第1の外層;
− 2%〜10%の第2の外層;
− 2%〜4%の自己架橋性ラテックス結合剤
のうち少なくとも1つを更に満たす、請求項1又は2に記載の液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブ。 - 前記自己架橋性ラテックス結合剤が酢酸ビニル−エチレンコポリマーである、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブ。
- SAM、繊維、及び結合剤の量を基準として、5%未満の他の結合剤材料を更に含み、前記他の結合剤材料が、請求項1から4までのいずれかに記載の自己架橋性ラテックス結合剤以外のラテックス結合剤である、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブ。
- 前記液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブが以下の:
− 少なくとも23g/gの吸収性ウェブ遠心保持容量;
− ウェブ中のSAMのSAM遠心保持容量の少なくとも85%の吸収性ウェブ遠心保持容量;
− 5.0未満の、ウェブ材料の剛性及び面積比容量の比によって決定される、保持容量に対する剛性の比((mNcm)/(l/m2)の単位である)
のうち少なくとも1つを示す、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブ。 - 前記SAMが、粒子状のSAMであり、前記粒子状のSAMのSAM粒子が粒子状マトリックスを形成し、繊維が粒子状マトリックスの粒子の間隙に散在している、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブ。
- トップシート、バックシート、及び請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブを含む、使い捨て吸収性物品であって、前記液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブは、前記トップシートとバックシートとの間に位置しており、更に前記液体吸収性ウェブと前記トップシートとの間に中間層を含む、前記使い捨て吸収性物品。
- デカルト座標において製造プロセスの機械方向に沿って実質的に無限の(x方向)長さを示し、更に厚さ又はz方向及び幅(y)方向を示す、液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブの製造方法であって、
以下の工程:
− 以下のもの
− インサイチュで形成された又は予め形成されたウェブの形態の、第1の外層と第2の外層、
− 超吸収性材料(SAM);
− 個別化された繊維;
− 自己架橋性ラテックス結合剤;
を提供する工程;
− 混合物中のSAMと繊維を合わせた質量を基準として少なくとも70%のSAM濃度で、前記SAMと前記個別化された繊維との混合物を形成する工程;
− 前記ウェブの(x)長さ方向及び(y)幅方向に沿って実質的に一定の厚さ、坪量及び濃度で第1の外層と第2の外層との間に前記混合物のサンドイッチ構造体を形成する工程;
− 自己架橋性ラテックス結合剤を、吸収性ウェブ中のラテックス結合剤の乾燥量を基準として、
少なくとも1%の量で且つ5%以下の量で、
前記外層の外表面のうち少なくとも1つに及び任意に前記SAMと前記個別化された繊維との前記混合物に適用する工程;
− 含水率を低減し且つ前記自己架橋性ラテックス結合剤の架橋を誘導するために前記サンドイッチ構造体を熱処理する工程;
− 前記サンドイッチ構造体を1つ以上の圧縮工程で圧縮する工程;
− 任意に前記サンドイッチ構造体を介してz方向に真空吸引を適用する工程
を含む、前記液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブの製造方法。 - 前記1つ以上の圧縮工程のいずれかの最大ライン圧力が60N/mm未満である、請求項9に記載の液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブの製造方法。
- 前記圧縮工程の少なくとも1つが、10N/mmを上回るライン圧力で実施される、請求項9又は10に記載の液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブの製造方法。
- 前記自己架橋性ラテックス結合剤を、水性溶液又は分散液として、溶液又は分散液中のラテックス結合剤の乾物量を基準として、5%を上回り、かつ30%未満の自己架橋性ラテックス結合剤含有率で適用する、請求項9から11までのいずれか1項に記載の液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブの製造方法。
- 前記サンドイッチウェブの前記熱処理が130℃〜180℃の間である、請求項9から12までのいずれか1項に記載の液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブの製造方法。
- 前記熱処理を、前記吸収性ウェブの最終的な全含水率が15%未満になるまで実施する、請求項9から13までのいずれか1項に記載の液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブの製造方法。
- 前記SAMが粒子状のSAMであり、前記粒子状のSAMのSAM粒子が粒子状マトリックスを形成し、繊維が粒子状マトリックスの粒子の間隙に散在するように、前記1つ以上の圧縮工程で前記サンドイッチ構造体を圧縮する、請求項9から14までのいずれか1項に記載の液体吸収性サンドイッチウェブの製造方法。
