Description
本出願の請求の範囲は、米国特許法第119条(e)の下に仮特許出願第61/621107号(2012年4月6日出願の、発明の名称「METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE HOMOGENEOUS DISTRIBUTION OF SUSPENDED CELL COMPONENTS」の優先権を主張し、同出願全体を参照により本明細書に包含する。
上面を有する液体キャリアをテーブル上に位置決めすることと、
液体キャリアの上面の上方約50〜1000μm、又は350〜1000μmの距離に分配バーを位置決めすることと、
細胞成分が懸濁された液体を、液体キャリアの上面に適用することと、
中に液体キャリア上の液体中に懸濁された細胞成分を分配するために、分配バー、液体キャリア、及び/又はテーブルを動かすことと
を含む。
粘性を高めるために、水を主成分とする液体、水より高い粘性を有する任意の極性溶媒、特に水溶性ポリマー及び/又はオリゴマー溶液を加えることができる。
十分に均質な分布が達成された後で液体を吸引するステップ、及び/又は
その上に細胞成分を有する液体キャリアを乾燥させるステップ、及び
乾燥後に、例えば乾燥した細胞を固定又は染色する目的で、追加の流体を適用する一又は複数のステップ
のうちの少なくとも一つをさらに含むことができる。
Claims (17)
- 表面上の液体中に懸濁された細胞成分を均質に分布させる方法であって、
a.上面を有する液体キャリアをテーブル上に、水平に配置すること、
b.液体キャリアの上面の上方350μm〜1000μmの距離に分配バーを、水平に配置すること、
c.中に細胞成分が懸濁された液体を、分配バーの少なくとも一部分が液体中に浸漬される液体レベルで、液体キャリアの上面に適用すること、及び
d.分配バー、テーブル、及び液体キャリアのうちの一又は複数を動かすことにより、分配バーの少なくとも一部分が液体中に浸漬し、液体キャリアの上面の上の液体中に懸濁された細胞成分を均一に分布させること
を含む、方法。 - 液体中の細胞成分が分離されている、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 液体中の細胞成分は、細胞学細針吸引により得られる細胞成分、パパニコロウ検査により得られる細胞成分、又は循環腫瘍細胞成分を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 液体キャリアの上面が、コーティング又は他の細胞保持特性を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- テーブル上に位置決めされた液体キャリアの表面は、その上に、少なくとも部分的に静電的に帯電した表面を有するか、或いは一又は複数の抗体及び/又は脂溶性分子のコーティングを有する、請求項4に記載の方法。
- a.液体キャリアの表面上において液体が均質に分布した後で液体を除去することであって、細胞成分の均一層がキャリア表面上に保持される、除去するステップと、
b.キャリア表面上に均一に細胞成分が保持されるように液体キャリアを乾燥させるステップと、
c.液体キャリアを乾燥させた後で、その上に保持された細胞成分を固定又は染色するために、液体キャリアの上面に一又は複数のさらなる流体を適用するステップと
のうちの少なくとも一つのステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 液体中に懸濁された細胞成分は、検出対象となる少なくとも一つの亜群を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 液体キャリアは顕微鏡スライドである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 液体キャリアは円形である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 液体キャリアの上面の面積は少なくとも100cm2であるか、100cm2〜1000cm2であるか、或いはCD又はレコードの大きさである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 表面上の液体中に懸濁された細胞成分を均質に分布させるための装置であって、
a.その上に液体キャリアを水平に配置することのできるテーブル、
b.テーブル上に水平に配置された液体キャリアに、中に細胞成分が懸濁された液体を適用するための液体適用装置、
c.液体キャリアの上方に、液体キャリアから離間させて配置され、テーブル上に水平に配置される分配バー、及び
d.液体キャリア表面全体に均一に液体を移動させるために、テーブル、分配バー、又はそれらの両方を、個別に又は同時に動かすことのできる駆動装置
を備え、
分配バー、液体キャリア、又はそれら両方は、駆動装置の係合中に液体キャリア表面から固定の距離を維持するための位置決め要素を有しており、距離は350μm〜1000μmである、装置。 - 液体キャリア上の液体が分配バーに付着する分配バーの断面は凸状である、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 液体キャリアは一又は複数の顕微鏡スライドを含む、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 液体キャリアの断面は円形である、請求項11に記載の装置。
