Description
Claims (19)
- 試料中の関心のある物質を検出するように構成された熱脱離装置であって、
スワブを支持するように構成されたワンド、及び
関心のある物質を検出するように構成された分析器を含む検出器を備え、
前記ワンドは、前記スワブからの試料の熱脱離が前記分析器への前記試料の一部分の供給をもたらすように、前記検出器に結合するよう構成され、
前記ワンドは、前記スワブを前記ワンドから熱的に絶縁するために前記スワブと前記ワンドとの間に間隔を与えるように構成されたスワブ支持体を備える、熱脱離装置。 - 前記スワブ支持体は前記間隔を減少するために前記ワンドに対して可動である、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記スワブ支持体は弾力性を有する、請求項1又は2記載の装置。
- 前記ワンドは前記スワブに採取された試料を加熱するヒータを備える、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記ワンドは電力を前記ヒータに結合する電気結合部を備え、前記電気結合部は前記ワンドが前記検出器に結合されるとき前記検出器と電気的に結合されるように構成されている、請求項4記載の装置。
- 前記電気結合部と係合するように構成された電気接点を更に備え、前記電気接点は前記ワンドの一部分を受け入れるポートを形成する前記検出器の筐体の内部部分に配置されている、請求項5記載の装置。
- 試料採取ワンドであって、
前記ワンドを操作できるように構成されたワンド本体、
前記ワンド本体に結合されたスワブ支持体、及び
採取された試料に供給される熱が前記ワンド本体から熱的に絶縁されるように、前記スワブ支持体と前記ワンド本体との間に配置された熱絶縁部、
を備える、試料採取ワンド。 - 前記スワブ支持体は、前記熱絶縁部が前記ワンド本体と前記スワブ支持体との間の間隔で与えられる加熱位置から、前記間隔が前記加熱位置に対して減少される試料採取位置まで前記ワンドに対して可動である、請求項7記載の試料採取ワンド。
- 前記スワブは弾力性を有する、請求項7又は8記載の試料採取ワンド。
- 前記ワンドは熱を前記スワブ支持体へ反射するように構成された熱反射表面を備える、請求項7,8又は9記載の試料採取ワンド。
- 請求項7から10のいずれか一項に記載の試料採取ワンド用の部品キット。
- 試料の熱脱離のためにスワブ支持体を加熱するように構成されたヒータを含む弾力性積層細条を備える試料採取兼熱脱離スワブ支持体。
- 前記ヒータは、導電性抵抗加熱素子及び前記スワブ支持体の表面を前記加熱素子から電気的に絶縁するように配置された電気絶縁材料の少なくとも1つの層を備える、請求項12記載の試料採取兼熱脱離スワブ支持体。
- 前記スワブ支持体を熱脱離兼試料採取ワンドの第1及び第2の結合部に機械的に結合できるように構成された第1及び第2の結合部を有し、前記結合部の少なくとも1つが前記ヒータへの電気結合を提供するように構成されている、請求項12又は13記載の熱脱離スワブ支持体。
- 試料採取ワンドであって、
前記ワンドを操作する操作手段、
スワブを支持し、前記操作手段に結合された支持手段、及び
前記操作手段から前記試料を熱的に絶縁する熱絶縁手段、
を備える試料採取ワンド。 - 物品から関心のある物質を採取するワンドであって、
実質的にワンド本体の端部に配置され、試料採取のために少なくとも部分的に柔軟に構成されたスワブ支持体、及び
スワブを前記スワブ支持体に固定するために前記ワンド本体の少なくとも一部分と係合するように構成されたスリーブ、
を備えるワンド。 - 前記スワブ支持体は前記スワブに存在する試料の少なくとも一部分を加熱するように動作するヒータを備える、請求項16記載のワンド。
- 前記スリーブを前記ワンド本体に固定する手段を更に備える、請求項16又は17記載のワンド。
- 前記ワンドは、前記スワブを前記ワンドから分解又は取り外すことなく前記スワブに採取された試料の熱脱離を行い得るように構成されている、請求項16,17又は18記載のワンド。
