Description
The present invention relates to an absorbent article that is slim, does not leak, and has excellent absorbency. More specifically, the present invention relates to a disposable light incontinence product that absorbs and retains excrement such as urine, a pants-type paper diaper, a urine pad, and a tape-locked paper diaper.
Absorbent articles such as disposable urine absorbent pads, panty liners, sanitary napkins, and paper diapers were provided with a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and a top sheet and a back sheet. A structure having an absorbent layer is generally used. In this case, a mixture of a superabsorbent polymer (SAP) and fluff pulp (hereinafter referred to as “pulp”) or the like is used for the absorbent layer. The user absorbs liquids such as blood and urine into the absorbent article by attaching the absorbent article to the underwear or wearing a pant-type absorbent article.
Absorbent articles, for example, have many scenes that absorb large amounts of body fluids when worn for a long time, preventing side leakage of body fluids, preventing displacement due to movement, and improving the fit when worn. For this purpose, the composition, structure, etc. for each component have been developed.
In

The
The
The base material of the
The side leak-proof portion can be provided at both side edges in the longitudinal direction in order to prevent side leakage at the time of wearing. The side leak-proof portion is formed using a water-repellent nonwoven fabric and is adhered to the longitudinal side edge of the
In order to promote the diffusion of liquid such as urine to the upper surface of the primary
Examples of the liquid
The
The primary water-absorbing
Regardless of whether the primary water-absorbing
The total content of the water-absorbent resin contained in the
As the absorbent resin, known resins can be used, and examples thereof include polyacrylic acid-based, starch-based, and cellulose-based resins.
The adhesive has a melting point of about 100 ° C. or more and about 180 ° C. or less, a synthetic rubber such as styrene-butadiene-styrene copolymer, styrene-isoprene-styrene copolymer, or ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. These olefin-based hot melt adhesives are used. As a method for applying the hot melt adhesive, there are a curtain coating method and a spiral method in which a molten adhesive is applied in a non-contact manner from a nozzle, and a known method such as a slot method can be used for the contact type.
Further, by applying heat embossing 21 to the liquid permeable
In order to obtain a large amount of absorption, a plurality of
The upper hydrophilic
The shape of the absorbent body is not particularly limited as long as it is generally used for absorbent articles such as sanitary napkins, diapers, and urine pads, and examples thereof include a rectangular shape, an hourglass shape, and an I-shape. it can.
The upper water
In addition to the above configuration, a deodorizing substance having a deodorizing function may be added to the upper water
The lower layer water-absorbing sheet 6 is below the
The lower layer water-absorbent sheet 6 is made of hydronit (manufactured by Kimberly Clark, trade name), airlaid nonwoven fabric, or the like, and preferably has a basis weight of 30 g / m 2 or more. If the basis weight is less than 30 g / m 2 , the water absorption capacity is inferior. The basis weight of the lower layer water absorbent sheet is preferably 30 g / m 2 or more and 150 g / m 2 or less.
As disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 5,284,703, Hydronit is a sheet formed by firmly entwining wood pulp with a polypropylene nonwoven fabric with high water pressure (water jet) without using a binder (adhesive). It is a material with excellent strength and absorbency.
The air laid nonwoven fabric is formed by dispersing relatively short fibers such as pulp and heat-sealing fibers in the air at random using an air flow, forming them into a bulky sheet, and bonding them with a binder.

As shown in FIG. 1, the individual wrapping sheet 12 is arranged under the

(Comparative Example 3)
In this comparative example, the point which does not have the lower layer water-absorbent sheet 6 as an absorbent article differs from Example 3, but it is the same structure as Example 3 except that, and measurement conditions are also the same.
About the absorbent article produced in Examples 1-3 and Comparative Examples 1-3, each physical property was measured and compared with the following test methods.
(Measuring method)
(Absorbing layer thickness)
The thickness of the absorption layer was measured using a height gauge (manufactured by Mitutoyo Corporation). The thickness is measured under a load condition of 35 gf / cm 2 . Under a load condition of 35 gf / cm 2 , a circular weight (50 mmφ) was placed on the center of the absorption layer, and the thickness up to the upper surface of the weight was measured with a height gauge, and then the thickness of the weight was subtracted.

(Reverse flow rate)
A filter paper (No. 2 filter paper manufactured by ADVANTEC, diameter 55 mm) was prepared by injecting 60 ml, 110 ml and 160 ml of physiological saline respectively into the longitudinal direction and the widthwise center of the

Table 1 shows the measurement results regarding the
From the results shown in Table 1, the following became clear.
(A) The difference between the three-time water absorption speed in Examples 1 to 3 and the three-time water absorption speed in Comparative Examples 1 to 3 is 10.7 seconds, 19 seconds, and 20.4 seconds, respectively. Thus, it is clear that the absorbent article having the lower water absorbent sheet 6 has a higher water absorption rate than the absorbent article not having the lower water absorbent sheet 6.
(B) Comparing the total absorbed amount of Examples 1 to 3 with the total absorbed amount of Comparative Examples 1 to 3, increased by 12.0%, 8.8% and 8.5%, respectively. Thereby, it is clear that the absorbent article having the lower layer water absorbent sheet 6 has a larger total absorption than the absorbent article not having the lower layer water absorbent sheet 6.
(C) The reverse flow rate of Examples 1 to 3 was compared with the reverse flow rate of Comparative Examples 1 to 3, and 41.4%, 24%, and 48.8% decreased, respectively. Thus, it is apparent that the absorbent article having the lower layer water absorbent sheet 6 has a lower back flow rate than the absorbent article not having the lower layer water absorbent sheet 6.
