Description
The present invention relates to an apparatus for monitoring a capacitor.
As shown in
If the balancing switch is abnormal, the state of charge of the battery cells cannot be controlled, and some battery cells may be overcharged or overdischarged. Therefore, the battery monitoring device is provided with a circuit for detecting an abnormality of the balancing switch. The circuit includes an operation state detection circuit for detecting a voltage between terminals at both ends of the balancing switch, a potential conversion circuit for aligning the potentials of the terminal voltages detected by the operation state detection circuit and selecting a balancing switch to be diagnosed, and An abnormality determination circuit that compares the voltage between the terminals with a determination voltage and determines whether or not the balancing switch is abnormal.
However, in the conventional detection of an abnormality of the balancing switch as described above, for example, when an abnormality occurs in which the balancing switch to be diagnosed cannot be correctly selected, the abnormality may not be detected correctly. Therefore, it is required to further improve the reliability of the storage battery monitoring device.
A storage battery monitoring device according to the present invention monitors a storage battery composed of a plurality of battery cells, and includes a plurality of voltage measurement paths for measuring voltages of the plurality of battery cells, and a plurality of voltage measurement paths. It is characterized by diagnosing whether the multiplexer for operation is normal or not.
According to the present invention, the reliability of the storage battery monitoring device can be further improved.
Below, operation | movement of the electrical storage monitoring apparatus of this invention is demonstrated using FIGS.

SOC(State Of Charge)、SOH(State Of Health)、許容充放電電力などを算出し、蓄電器2の充放電制御を行う。
The storage battery monitoring device 3 measures the voltage, temperature, charge / discharge current, etc. of each
In addition, the battery monitoring device 3 can discharge each
Further, the storage battery monitoring device 3 diagnoses whether an abnormality that may be an erroneous report to the host system 7 has occurred in the storage battery monitoring device 3, and reports the diagnosis result to the host system 7. The host system 7 may be overcharged or overdischarged when the charge / discharge control of the battery 2 is performed based on an erroneous report from the battery monitor 3. The charging / discharging of the battery 2 is prohibited and the safe state is maintained. In addition, when not the host system 7 but the storage battery monitoring device 3 detects the occurrence of its own abnormality, charging / discharging of the storage battery 2 may be prohibited to maintain a safe state.

The communication path 6 is provided between the microcomputer 5 and the integrated

FIG. 2 is a diagram showing a main configuration of the integrated
The
The
The BALMUX 42 measures the voltage across the
The MUX selection circuit 43 is a circuit that selects which of the
The
The
Instead of providing the decision circuit 9 in the microcomputer 5, the decision circuit 9 may be provided in each of the

In step S50, the microcomputer 5 instructs the
In step S60, the microcomputer 5 determines whether m = 4. If the value of the variable m at that time is 4, the process proceeds to the next step S70. If not, the process returns to step S40 after adding 1 to the value of the variable m in step S120. Thereby, the process of step S40-S60 is repeatedly performed between m = 1-4. As a result, the
In step S70, the microcomputer 5 instructs the
In step S80, the microcomputer 5 determines whether the measured value of the voltage across each balancing switch matches the expected value based on the comparison result in step S70. As a result, if the measured values of the voltage across all balancing switches match the expected value, the process proceeds to the next step S90. On the other hand, if the measured value of the voltage across at least one of the balancing switches does not match the expected value, it is determined in step S110 that at least one of the balancing switches 40a to 40d and
Here, a voltage corresponding to the voltage drop of the balancing switches 40a to 40d is set as the expected value for the voltage across the balancing switch in the ON state. For example, when the balancing switches 40a to 40d are composed of FETs as described above, expected values corresponding to the drain current flowing through the balancing switches 40a to 40d and the on-resistance value between the drain and the source are set. On the other hand, a voltage corresponding to the cell voltage of the
In step S90, the microcomputer 5 determines whether n = 4. If the value of the variable n at that time is 4, the process proceeds to the next step S100. If not, the process returns to step S20 after adding 1 to the value of the variable n in step S130. Thereby, the process of step S20-S90 is repeatedly performed between n = 1-4. As a result, the diagnosis of the balancing switches 40a to 40d and the
In step S100, the microcomputer 5 determines that the balancing switches 40a to 40d and the
Below, the specific example of the abnormality diagnosis procedure shown in FIG. 3 is demonstrated. First, the microcomputer 5 instructs the
Next, after causing the MUX selection circuit 43 to select the
When the voltage between the terminals of the balancing switches 40a to 40d is measured in this way, the
On the other hand, if all the inter-terminal voltages of the balancing switches 40a to 40d match the expected value, the balancing
As the value of the variable n changes from 1 to 4, the processing as described above is repeatedly executed in the microcomputer 5 and the
