Description
A1.金属材料から加工された第1のコンポーネントと、
黒鉛エポキシ材料から加工された第2のコンポーネントと、
前記第1のコンポーネントと前記第2のコンポーネントとの結合機構となる、スリーブを有さない締まりばめファスナと
を備える航空機。
締まりばめファスナに関連する軸部が、ばりにより生じる疲れ破面の傾向を打ち消す応力を、金属コンポーネントに対して掛けるように、且つファスナの軸部が、少なくとも一の穴の穿孔により形成された複合材構造内の円筒状の壁に直接係合するように、少なくとも一の穴の各々に締まりばめファスナを挿入することと
を含む組み立て方法。
締まりばめファスナの引張りステムを挿入することであって、整列させた複合材構造及び金属構造の第1の側から少なくとも一の穴を通して少なくとも一の穴より小さい直径を有する引張りステムを挿入することと、
整列させた複合材構造及び金属構造の第2の側で引張りステムを係合させることと、
締まりばめファスナのヘッドが、整列させた複合材構造及び金属構造の第1の側に係合するように、締まりばめファスナを引っ張るように係合部を動作させることと
を含むA6に記載の方法。
複合材料コンポーネント及び金属材料紺ポーンネントに穴を開けることと、
穿孔した穴を整列させることと、
整列させた穴の直径より小さな直径を有する引張りステムと、整列させた穴の直径より大きな直径を有する軸部分とを有する締まりばめファスナを選択することであって、軸部と、複合材料コンポーネント及び金属材料コンポーネントのうちの少なくとも一方の穴によって画定される円筒形状との間に、穿孔の結果生じた疲れ破面の可能性を打ち消す特定の締まりを提供するように、軸部の直径を選択することと、
締まりばめファスナの引張りステムを、整列した穴に挿入することと、
引張りステムにより、締まりばめファスナを、複合材料コンポーネント及び金属材料コンポーネントに対する最終位置に引き込むことにより、特定の締まりを提供することと
を含む方法。

Claims (5)
- 複合材構造(304)と金属構造(302)との結合方法であって、
複合材構造(304)と金属構造(302)とを整列させることと、
整列させた構造に穿孔により穴を開けて整列された穴(324)を形成することと、
穿孔により形成された複合材構造(304)中の円筒状の壁に締まりばめファスナ(362)が係合するように、整列された穴(324)に締まりばめファスナ(362)を挿入することと
を含み、
締まりばめファスナ(362)を挿入することが、金属構造(302)に穿孔することにより生じたばりの除去を行うことなく行われ、
締まりばめファスナ(362)の挿入の結果、締まりばめファスナ(362)の軸部分が整列された穴(324)の内周壁に、ばりを押し付ける、方法。 - 整列された穴(324)に締まりばめファスナ(362)を挿入することが、
複合材構造(304)と金属構造(302)のアセンブリの第1の側から、整列された穴(324)に締まりばめファスナ(362)の引張りステム(372)を挿入することと、
複合材構造(304)と金属構造(302)のアセンブリの第2の側で、締まりばめファスナ(362)の引張りステム(372)をプラー(370)と係合させることと、
複合材構造(304)と金属構造(302)のアセンブリの第1の側に締まりばめファスナ(362)のヘッド(364)が係合するように、プラー(370)を操作して締まりばめファスナ(362)を引っ張ることと
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 整列された穴(324)に締まりばめファスナ(362)を挿入することが、整列された穴(324)より約0.0254mm(0.001インチ)〜約0.127mm(0.005インチ)大きな直径を有する締まりばめファスナ(362)を挿入することである、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 複合材構造(304)が黒鉛エポキシ複合材を含み、
金属構造(302)が、アルミニウム及びチタンの少なくとも一方を含む、
請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 複合材構造(304)及び金属構造(302)のうちの一方に皿もみを形成することにより締まりばめファスナ(362)のヘッド(364)を収容することを更に含む、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
