寝具に、一端に引揚げ力測定手段を接続する接続部を設けたシート状の敷部材を敷き、
該敷部材の少なくとも他端部の上部に被測定者の一方の腕の少なくとも一部が位置するように仰臥させ、
前記敷部材の接続部側を引揚げ、前記被測定者を、前記被測定者の一方の腕側を基点として、仰臥の状態から横臥する状態まで移動させるのに必要とされる引揚げ力を前記引揚げ力測定手段で測定し、
この引揚げ力を基に、前記寝具の寝返り性を評価することを特徴とする寝具の寝返り性の評価方法。
