Description
1)差圧−流れに対する抵抗全体の圧力降下又は圧力差を測定する。
2)回転する羽根−流路に配置される羽根の回転数をカウントする。
3)熱線流速計−ワイヤをまわす気流により熱せられたワイヤの冷却を測定する。
4)超音波ドップラ−流れる気体を通過するときの超音波ビームの周波数シフトを測定する。
5)渦発生−気体が流れの中に位置される支柱を通って流れるときに発生される渦の数をカウントする。
6)タイムオブフライト−上流で生成された音又は熱のインパルスの到着時間を下流に配置されるセンサで測定する。
(a)患者の気道と流体連通して配置される気道アダプタを供給するステップと、
(b)気道アダプタの方向関連特性、気道アダプタの運動関連特性、又はこれらの両方を検出するステップと、
(c)気道アダプタを通る気体のフローの呼吸成分を検出するステップと
を含む、呼吸成分を測定する方法を提供することである。
Claims (44)
- 患者の気道と流体連通して配置される気道アダプタと、
前記気道アダプタの方向関連特性及び前記気道アダプタの運動関連特性を検出する、前記気道アダプタと物理的に連通するセンサ素子であって、前記方向関連特性は、前記気道アダプタの傾斜を示し、前記運動関連特性は、前記気道アダプタに加わる力の変化を少なくとも示す、センサ素子と、
前記気道アダプタを通る気体の流れと関連した特性を測定するように、前記気道アダプタに配置される呼吸成分センサと、
前記検出された前記方向関連特性及び前記運動関連特性がそれぞれ所定の閾値を越えるかどうか判定し、いずれかの特性が所定の閾値を超える場合、警報を提供し又は前記呼吸成分センサを使用不能にする手段と、
を有し、
前記方向関連特性に対する所定の閾値が前記測定された特性に基づいて設定される、
呼吸成分測定システム。 - 前記呼吸成分センサが、フローセンサ、ボリュームセンサ、気体センサ、湿度センサ、温度センサ、圧力センサ、又はこれらのいずれかの組み合わせである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記気体センサが、赤外光気体検知システム、ルミネセンス消光気体検知システム、電気化学的気体検知システム、又はこれらのいずれかの組み合わせも含む、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記気体センサが、二酸化炭素、酸素、窒素、一酸化二窒素、一酸化炭素、揮発性有機化合物、麻酔薬剤、トレース気体、呼気マーカ、一酸化窒素、又はこれらのいずれかの組み合わせも測定する、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記呼吸成分センサが、
気体センサと、
前記気道アダプタから前記気体センサに気体サンプルを送るように、前記気道アダプタ及び前記気体センサに結合されるサンプル管と
を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記呼吸成分センサが、前記気道アダプタと一体であるか、又は前記気道アダプタから分離可能である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記センサ素子が、前記呼吸成分センサに配置される、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記センサ素子が、加速度計、伏角計、電解センサ、流体傾斜センサ、磁気抵抗センサ、又はこれらのいずれかの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記センサ素子からの信号を受信するプロセッサを更に有するシステムであって、該プロセッサは、前記方向関連特性及び前記運動関連特性が、前記センサ素子からの前記信号に基づく所定の制限を超えるかどうかを決定するようにプログラムされる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- ホストシステムと、
該ホストシステム及び前記センサ素子の間の通信リンクと
を更に含むシステムであって、前記通信リンクが、有線、無線、又はこれらの組み合わせである、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記方向関連特性が、前記気道アダプタの長手軸に対する前記気道アダプタの回転角を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記運動関連特性が、力、衝撃、ショック、急な動作、インパルス、振動、加速、減速、運動、加速における変化、減速における変化、気道アダプタの動作の変化、又はこれらのいかなる組み合わせも含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 患者の気道と流体連通して配置される気道アダプタと、
前記気道アダプタと物理的に連通する第1要素、及び前記第1要素の方向関連特性及び前記第1要素の運動関連特性を検出する第2要素を含むセンサであって、前記方向関連特性は、前記気道アダプタの傾斜を示し、前記運動関連特性は、前記気道アダプタに加わる力の変化を少なくとも示す、センサと、
前記患者の気道と流体連通して、前記気道アダプタを通る気体の流れと関連した特性を測定するように前記気道アダプタに配置される呼吸成分センサと、
前記検出された前記方向関連特性及び前記運動関連特性がそれぞれ所定の閾値を越えるかどうか判定し、いずれかの特性が所定の閾値を超える場合、警報を提供し又は前記呼吸成分センサを使用不能にする手段と、
を有し、
前記方向関連特性に対する所定の閾値が前記測定された特性に基づいて設定される、
呼吸成分測定システム。 - 前記呼吸成分センサが、気道アダプタに動作可能に結合されるフローセンサ、ボリュームセンサ、気体センサ、湿度センサ、温度センサ、圧力センサ、又はこれらのいかなる組み合わせでもある、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記気体センサは、赤外光気体検知システム、ルミネセンス消光気体検知システム、電気化学気体検知システム、又はこれらのいかなる組み合わせも含む、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記気体センサが、二酸化炭素、酸素、窒素、一酸化二窒素、一酸化炭素、揮発性有機化合物、麻酔薬剤、トレース気体、呼気マーカ、一酸化窒素、又はこれらのいかなる組み合わせも測定する、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 気体サンプルを前記呼吸成分センサに伝えるように、前記気道アダプタに結合されるサンプル管を更に有する、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記呼吸成分センサが、前記気道アダプタと一体であるか、又は前記気道アダプタと分離可能である、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2要素が、前記呼吸成分センサに配置される、請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1要素及び前記第2要素が、磁気抵抗素子を備える、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2要素からの信号を受信するプロセッサを更に有するシステムであって、前記プロセッサは、前記方向関連特性及び前記運動関連特性が、前記第2要素からの前記信号に基づく所定の制限を超えるかどうかを決定するようにプログラムされる、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- ホストシステムと、
前記ホストシステム及び前記センサ素子の通信リンクと
を更に有するシステムであって、前記通信リンクが、有線、無線、又はこれらの組み合わせである、請求項13に記載のシステム。 - 前記方向関連特性が、前記気道アダプタの長手軸に対する前記気道アダプタの回転角を含む、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記運動関連特性が、力、衝撃、ショック、急な動作、インパルス、振動、加速、減速、運動、加速の変化、減速の変化、前記第1要素の運動の変化、又はこれらのいかなる組み合わせも含む、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 患者の気道と流体連通して配置される気道アダプタと、
前記気道アダプタの方向関連特性及び前記気道アダプタの運動関連特性を検出する感知手段であって、前記方向関連特性は、前記気道アダプタの傾斜を示し、前記運動関連特性は、前記気道アダプタに加わる力の変化を少なくとも示す、感知手段と、
前記気道アダプタを通る気体の流れと関連した特性を測定する気道アダプタに動作可能に結合される呼吸成分検知手段と、
前記検出された前記方向関連特性及び前記運動関連特性がそれぞれ所定の閾値を越えるかどうか判定し、いずれかの特性が所定の閾値を超える場合、警報を提供し又は前記呼吸成分検知手段を使用不能にする手段と、
を有し、
前記方向関連特性に対する所定の閾値が前記測定された特性に基づいて設定される、
呼吸成分測定システム。 - 前記呼吸成分検知手段は、前記気道アダプタに動作可能に結合されるフローセンサ、ボリュームセンサ、気体センサ、湿度センサ、温度センサ、圧力センサ、又はこれらのいかなる組み合わせでもある、請求項25に記載のシステム。
- 前記気体センサが、赤外光気体検知システム、ルミネセンス消光気体検知システム、電気化学的気体検知システム、又はこれらのいかなる組み合わせも含む、請求項26に記載のシステム。
- 前記気体センサが、二酸化炭素、酸素、窒素、一酸化二窒素、一酸化炭素、揮発性有機化合物、麻酔薬剤、トレース気体、呼気マーカ、一酸化窒素、又はこれらのいかなる組み合わせも測定する、請求項26に記載のシステム。
- 前記呼吸成分検知手段に気体サンプルを伝えるように、前記気道アダプタに結合されるサンプル管を更に有する、請求項25に記載のシステム。
- 前記呼吸成分検知手段が、前記気道アダプタと一体であるか、又は前記気道アダプタから分離可能である、請求項25に記載のシステム。
- 前記検知手段が、前記呼吸成分センサに配置される、請求項25に記載のシステム。
- 前記検知手段が、加速度計、伏角計、電解センサ、流体傾斜センサ、磁気抵抗センサ、又はこれらのいかなる組み合わせも含む、請求項25に記載のシステム。
- 前記気道アダプタの方向関連特性及び前記気道アダプタの運動関連特性が、前記検知手段からの信号に基づく所定の制限を超えるかどうかを決定する処理手段を更に有する、請求項25に記載のシステム。
- ホストシステムと、
前記ホストシステム及び前記検知手段の間の通信リンクと
を有するシステムであって、前記通信リンクが、有線、無線、又はこれらの組み合わせである、請求項25に記載のシステム。 - 前記方向関連特性が、前記気道アダプタの長手軸に対する前記気道アダプタの回転角を含む、請求項25に記載のシステム。

前記気道アダプタの方向関連特性及び前記気道アダプタの運動関連特性を検出するステップであって、前記方向関連特性は、前記気道アダプタの傾斜を示し、前記運動関連特性は、前記気道アダプタに加わる力の変化を少なくとも示す、ステップと、
前記気道アダプタを通る気体の流れと関連した特性を測定するステップと、
前記検出された前記方向関連特性及び前記運動関連特性がそれぞれ所定の閾値を越えるかどうか判定し、いずれかの特性が所定の閾値を超える場合、警報を提供し又は前記測定を不能にするステップと、
を含み、
前記方向関連特性に対する所定の閾値が前記測定された特性に基づいて設定される、
呼吸成分を測定する方法。 - 前記呼吸成分が、前記気道アダプタに動作可能に結合されるフローセンサ、ボリュームセンサ、気体センサ、湿度センサ、温度センサ、圧力センサ、又はこれらのいかなる組み合わせでも検出される、請求項37に記載の方法。
- 前記気体センサが、赤外光気体検知システム、ルミネセンス消光気体検知システム、電気化学的気体検知システム、又はこれらのいかなる組み合わせも有する、請求項38に記載の方法。
- 前記気体センサが、二酸化炭素、酸素、窒素、一酸化二窒素、一酸化炭素、揮発性有機化合物、麻酔薬剤、トレース気体、呼気マーカ、一酸化窒素、又はこれらのいかなる組み合わせも測定する、請求項38に記載の方法。
- 前記気道アダプタに結合されるサンプル管から前記気体センサに気体サンプルを伝えるステップを更に含む、請求項37に記載の方法。
- 前記気道アダプタの前記方向関連特性、前記気道アダプタの前記運動関連特性、又はこれらの両方を検出するステップが、加速度計、伏角計、電解センサ、流体傾斜センサ、磁気抵抗センサ、又はこれらのいかなる組み合わせも使用して達成される、請求項37に記載の方法。
- 前記検出するステップの結果として、信号を受信するステップと、
前記方向関連特性及び前記運動関連特性が所定の制限を超えるかどうかを決定するため、前記信号を処理するステップと
を更に含む、請求項37に記載の方法。 - 有線通信、無線通信、又はこれらの組み合わせを介して、前記方向関連特性及び前記運動関連特性を前記ホストシステムに伝えるステップを更に有する、請求項37に記載の方法。
