The present invention relates to a power storage module.
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2010-239829 discloses an example of a capacitor module (storage module) including a capacitor unit composed of a plurality of electric double layer capacitors and a box-shaped case having rigidity for housing the capacitor unit. It is shown. A control circuit including voltage adjustment circuits for a plurality of capacitors is disposed inside the case.
In a conventional power storage module, it is required to store a power storage element having a large capacity, such as a lithium ion capacitor, including a control board inside the case, and to reduce the shape of the case. There is also a need for a power storage module that is easy to manufacture.
An object of the present invention is to provide a power storage module in which a control board and a power storage element are housed in a case and can be easily manufactured.
The power storage module to be improved by the present invention includes a plurality of power storage elements such as a lithium ion capacitor, a power storage element assembly including a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal, a box-shaped case having rigidity for housing the power storage element assembly, A control board having a control circuit for the storage element assembly, and a positive output terminal and a negative output terminal fixed to the case are provided. For example, the case can be composed of a bottom wall portion, an upper wall portion facing the bottom wall portion, and four side wall portions positioned between the bottom wall portion and the upper wall portion. In the present invention, the case includes the first wall portion, the second wall portion facing the first wall portion, the first wall portion, and the second without specifying the vertical and horizontal directions. It can also be understood that it is composed of third to sixth wall portions located between the two wall portions.
Between the storage element assembly and the case, a positive connection cable that electrically connects the positive terminal and the positive output terminal, a negative connection cable that electrically connects the negative terminal and the negative output terminal, and a control board, Forms a space in which is placed.
In the present invention, the power storage element assembly includes a plurality of power storage element units configured such that a plurality of power storage elements are sandwiched between a pair of power storage element holders formed of an electrically insulating material. Then, the substrate holder holding the control substrate is fixed to one or more power storage element holders included in the power storage element unit. The substrate holder has a structure for holding the control substrate in a state separated from the storage element assembly. When such a substrate holder is employed, the module structure can be assembled before being housed in the case. And the electrical storage module can be easily manufactured by accommodating the structure in a case. In addition, the control board disposed in the case can be reliably positioned and fixed with respect to the storage element holder of the storage element assembly via the substrate holder. Further, the electrical insulation distance between the control board and the power storage element can always be kept constant to prevent the occurrence of a short circuit.
The substrate holder may have a structure including a substrate fixing portion and a pair of arm portions that are arranged on both sides of the substrate fixing portion and extend away from each other. When the storage element assembly is configured such that the two storage element units are opposed to the upper wall portion of the case in a state where the respective storage element holders are in contact with each other, The arm part may be fixed to each of the two power storage element holders in contact with the two power storage element units, and the other arm part may be fixed to each of the remaining two power storage element holders in contact with the two power storage element units. In this way, even when vibration is applied from the outside, the distance between the control board and the power storage element can be kept constant, and safety can be improved.
The positive electrode connection cable and the negative electrode connection cable are arranged at intervals in the direction in which the upper wall portion of the case extends and the control board is positioned in the space described above. You may determine the arrangement position of a negative electrode output terminal, and the electrical connection structure which connects between several capacitors. If such a configuration is adopted, the positive electrode connection cable, the negative electrode connection cable, and the control board can be arranged side by side on the power storage device assembly. Therefore, even if the control board is arranged in the case, the dimensions of the case can be reduced. Can be small. In addition, when the positive electrode connection cable, the negative electrode connection cable, and the control board are arranged on the electric storage element assembly, the connection operation in the case is facilitated, and an electric storage module that is easy to manufacture can be provided.
When using a power storage element unit, the electrical connection structure is preferably configured by connecting a bus bar disposed between the holder and the plurality of capacitors to the power storage element. When an electrical connection structure is configured using a bus bar, electrical connection can be realized in a limited space.
The structure of the case is arbitrary, but the upper wall portion includes a first wall portion facing the control board, a first wall portion that is continuous with the first wall portion, and is orthogonal to the first wall portion. You may have the 2nd wall part extended toward this, and the 3rd wall part which continues to this 2nd wall part, and extends in the direction away from a 1st wall part. When the vertical and horizontal directions of the power storage module are not specified, the second wall portion includes a first wall portion that faces the control board, and the first wall portion that is continuous with the first wall portion. You may have the 2nd wall part which orthogonally crosses, and the 3rd wall part which extends in the direction away from the said 1st wall part which continues to this 2nd wall part. In these cases, the positive electrode output terminal and the negative electrode output terminal may be fixed to the second wall portion. If it does in this way, since the positive electrode output terminal and the negative electrode output terminal can be arrange | positioned in the limited space, the installation space of a unit can be made small. Moreover, the window part which accept | permits introducing a lead wire into the lead wire connection part provided in the control board can also be formed in the 2nd wall part.
Further, the power storage element assembly may be fixed to the case by screwing the male screw portion of the screw member penetrating the side wall portion with the female screw portion provided in the holder of the power storage element unit. When such a fixing structure is employed, the storage element assembly can be fixed without using an adhesive after the storage element assembly is inserted into the case.
A plurality of control cables are drawn from the power storage element unit through a gap formed between the pair of power storage element holders. The plurality of control cables include a voltage measurement cable, a temperature measurement cable, and the like.
In particular, in the present invention, a positive electrode connection cable that electrically connects the positive electrode terminal and the positive electrode output terminal, and a negative electrode connection cable that electrically connects the negative electrode terminal and the negative electrode output terminal between the power storage element assembly and the case. As a result, a space is formed in which a control board in which a plurality of control cables are electrically connected to the control circuit is disposed. And the shape and connection of a plurality of bus bars arranged between each of the storage element holders of the plurality of storage element units and the plurality of storage elements so that the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal of the storage element assembly are positioned in this space. A relationship has been established.
When the control cable is routed as in the present invention, and the shape and connection relationship of the bus bar in each power storage element unit are determined, the wall portion of the case and the power storage that are not used to form a space for arranging the control board and the like No cable is routed between the device assembly. Therefore, according to the invention, the power storage device assembly can be housed in the case in a just fit, and the power storage module can be reduced in size.
When the storage element assembly is installed on the bottom wall portion of the case and the space is formed between the storage element assembly and the upper wall portion, a plurality of control cables drawn from a plurality of storage element units Can be routed into the space without passing between the electricity storage device assembly and the bottom wall portion and the side wall portion. As a result, the storage element assembly can be inserted into the case easily and smoothly.
In this case, it is preferable that at least a portion continuous with the bottom surface portion of the bottom surface portion facing the bottom wall portion of the case and the side wall portion of the case of the energy storage device assembly is covered with the friction reducing envelope. . The friction reducing envelope is made of a material that can reduce the frictional resistance when the power storage element assembly is inserted into the case with the upper wall portion opened. Covering a part of the storage element assembly with such a friction reducing envelope facilitates the insertion of the storage element assembly into the case. Therefore, assembly of the power storage module is facilitated.
The friction-reducing envelope can be formed by bending a single sheet material. When such a friction reducing envelope is used, it is not necessary to use a custom-made friction reducing envelope, so the friction reducing envelope can be configured at low cost, and the manufacturing cost of the power storage module can be reduced. .
When adopting a structure in which the male screw part of the screw member that penetrates the side wall part is screwed into the female screw part provided in the electric storage element holder of the electric storage element unit and the electric storage element assembly is fixed to the case, friction is adopted. The enclosing material for reduction covers a portion of the four side wall surfaces located on the bottom side with respect to the female screw portion. In this way, the friction reducing envelope does not interfere with the fixing work by the screw member.
The storage element may be either a capacitor or a battery. In addition, the power storage element is a cylindrical power storage element obtained by winding an electrode plate group in which a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate are laminated via a separator and enclosing it in a cylindrical container. It may also be a stacked electricity storage device obtained by enclosing a stacked electrode plate group in which electrode plates are stacked via a separator in a container.

The five

The first power
The
A
The
The space SP surrounded by the first to fourth
FIG. 6 is a perspective view used for explaining the configuration of the power
As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, in this embodiment, two power
Although not shown in FIGS. 2 to 6, a plurality of control units are provided from the
In the present embodiment, the two
In the present embodiment, the
In the present embodiment, one
7 to 9 show the internal structure of the
As shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, a plurality of
When the
FIGS. 12A to 12C are a side view, a front view, and a plan view of an example in which the power
The friction reducing envelope is a material (for example, a resin sheet such as polycarbonate) that can reduce the frictional resistance when the power
In the present embodiment, the friction-reducing
In any of the above embodiments, the bottom wall portion is the first wall portion, the upper wall portion is the second wall portion, and the four side wall portions positioned between the bottom wall portion and the upper wall portion are the first wall portions. The third to sixth wall portions were used. However, the method of determining the first to sixth wall portions is not limited to the method of determining in the above embodiment. Therefore, in the
In the present embodiment, in addition to the positive
In any of the above embodiments, a cylindrical storage element is used as the plurality of storage elements to be housed. However, as the storage element, a stacked storage element configured by stacking a plurality of electrode plates is used. Of course, it is possible to store a plurality of stacked ones.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, a control board and an electrical storage element can be accommodated in a case, and also the electrical storage module with easy manufacture can be provided.
