Description

The present invention, the ability to support the medication management by the home of the patient's own and their families or caregivers, etc., related to equipment which has been integrated into the general telephone and data equipment.

In recent years, with the increase in the elderly population, the number of elderly people with some chronic illnesses that require medication management is increasing, and the number of people exceeds the number that can be cared for by hospitals and nursing homes. It is expected to increase further. In that case, a busy traveling caregiver who visits a patient at home, a family member of a patient who is busy with work or housework, or a long-term caregiver needs to manage the patient's medication. The

As a technology related to medication management, a technology related to a medication management system comprising a medication management device that manages patient medication and a terminal device that is connected to the medication management device via a communication line and used by the patient is known ( For example, Patent Document 1).

This technique allows the patient to receive a first completion time (for example, 30 minutes) without receiving medication completion information from the nurse call cordless handset even after the scheduled time at which the patient should complete medication. Nursing to notify the patient of the medication that the patient has not completed the medication when the second predetermined time (for example, 60 minutes) has passed and the nurse call slave device has been informed of the medication. This is a notification to the nurse and the like, and allows the nurse to grasp that the patient has forgotten to take medication.

However, the technique described in Patent Document 1 is a dedicated system based on the premise of operation in a medical facility, in which a nurse grasps a patient's medication status via a nurse call cord near the patient. Therefore, it is not considered to install at home. Specifically, there is a lack of consideration for the inventory management of medicines required for operation at the patient's home and for the patients themselves or their families who are not familiar with medicine knowledge to manage the medication. In addition, in homes where there are patients who have multiple chronic illnesses and are receiving various medicines from multiple medical institutions at the same time, or in homes where there are multiple patients, the type of medicine to be taken is incorrect than forgetting to take the medicine. There is also worry.

If NO in S320, the process skips S321 and proceeds to S330.

In S330, the medication management unit 16 refers to the setting content of the medication time zone registered in the medication related data registration unit 17 (column 203 in FIG. 2), and determines whether the current time is any medication time zone. If the determination is YES, the medication monitoring timer (in the clock / timer 18) is started (S331), and the display / sounding unit 12 is controlled to take information including that the time to be taken has arrived. Is displayed, and a ringing prompting for medication (for example, ringing for 1 minute every 5 minutes) is performed (S332), and input of a specific operation indicating that the medication has been taken is awaited (S340). If NO in S330, the process returns to S310. Note that the medicine information displayed in S332 includes the appearance of the medicine and its bag input from the video input unit 15. In addition, the ringing pattern for prompting medication is arbitrary, but when the device 1 has a telephone function, it is desirable that the ringing pattern be different from the normal ringing ringing. Furthermore, when there are a plurality of subjects to be taken, different ringing patterns may be registered in the medication-related data registration unit 17 for each subject (not shown).

In S340, when a person who operates the device 1 performs a specific operation to the effect that the operation unit 11 has taken medicine (S340, YES), the medication management unit 16 stops displaying / ringing medication information and registers medication-related data. The medication history registered in the unit 17 is updated, and the remaining amount of the medication is updated to a value obtained by subtracting one medication (S341), and the process proceeds to S350.

In the case of NO in S340, if there is no timer value extension operation (for example, ## is pressed) (S344, NO) and the timer has not expired (for example, 60 minutes) (S343, NO), the process returns to S340 and the timer When the process has expired (S343, YES), the process proceeds to S341.

If there is a timer value extending operation (S344, YES), the timer value is extended (S345), and the process returns to S340. This timer value extending operation is an operation performed when the medication is designated as after meal (for example, 30 minutes) and the meal is delayed. The timer value extending process may be performed by resetting (restarting) the timer started in S331, for example.

(S351)。   In S350, the medication management unit 16 refers to the notification condition related to the remaining amount of medicine (lower column 204 in FIG. 2) registered in the medication-related data registration unit 16, and the remaining amount of the medicine taken this time is determined. It is determined whether or not the amount exceeds the notification condition. If the remaining amount of medicine is less than the amount of the notification condition, the notification condition is met (S350, YES), the report destination registered in the medication-related data registration unit 17 is referenced (column 205 in FIG. 2), and the designated An alarm to the effect that the medicine is almost exhausted is sent to the report destination (S351).

By the way, when the timer expires while waiting for a specific operation indicating that the medicine has been taken (S343, YES), in S341, the medication management unit 16 updates the medication history on the assumption that no medication has been taken this time. In that case, in S350, the medication management unit 16 indicates that the medication history (not shown) registered in the related data registration unit 16 indicates that the notification condition related to the abnormality (the upper row of the column 204 in FIG. If there is a match (S350, YES), an alarm indicating that there is a possibility of change in the subject of medication management (for example, collapsed while the family is away) is specified. The report destination is notified (S351), and the process returns to S310. If the notification condition is not met in S350 (S350, NO), S351 is skipped and the process returns to S310.

In addition, when it is known in advance that it is not possible to input regular medication information data due to travel, going out, etc., the medication management subject himself or his / her family operates the operation unit 11 and changes / abnormalities in S351 during that time May be set to stop the notification (not shown). In addition, this temporary report stop process is automatically performed in conjunction with a schedule function (for example, a function provided in the communication terminal function unit 10), or a function of the communication terminal function unit 10 is used. It is also possible to perform stop processing remotely from the destination (not shown).

The embodiment of the present invention has been described above. According to the present embodiment, it is possible to perform fine-grained medication management such as medication information registered for each medication manager, notification conditions, report destination, etc., and to the appropriate report destination, the remaining amount of medication and subject to medication management It is possible to promptly report the possibility of an accident.
