本発明の実施形態においては、表示装置101と固定部材102がレール溝101e、101f、101g及び突起102e、102fによって筐体側面101cに嵌合する形態が開示されたが、応用例として、例えば天面及び底面において嵌合してもよい。また、本発明の実施形態においてはそれぞれの筐体側面101cについて1つずつ、合計2つの固定部材102を有する形態が開示されたが、応用例として、例えば両側面に配置していた固定部材を一体102として、コの字状又は筒状に形成してもよい。この場合、必ずしも筐体101aにレール溝101e、101f、101gは必要ではなくなる。
すなわち、筐体101aが楕円柱や四角柱等の柱体であり、固定部材102が筐体101aを構成する柱体の側面を巻回する形状であり、固定部材102が筐体101aを構成する柱体の底面の中心から回動できない構造であれば、筐体101aにレール溝を設けなくとも、固定部材102は柱体である筐体101aの側面を平行移動することができる。そして、筐体101aの側面の一部に形成したラック101dと、ラチェットを構成することもできる。
