Claims (14)
- 縫合糸で移植可能なリードを固定するための縫合糸スリーブであって、
基端部、先端部、および外側表面を有する管状体と、
同管状体内で前記基端部から前記先端部に延びるとともに前記移植可能なリードを受承する寸法に形成されるルーメンと、
前記管状体の周囲を延びるチャネル内で外側表面を形成する、前記管状体に沿った縫合糸受承領域と、
同縫合糸受承領域の前記チャネル内に形成される前記外側表面にのみ沿って延びる耐破断性部であって、同耐破断性部は、テクスチャを含み、同テクスチャは、隆起パターンまたは沈降パターンを含み、同隆起パターンまたは沈降パターンは、前記縫合糸による、前記縫合糸受承領域の前記チャネル内に形成される前記外側表面における破断の開始に抵抗するように構成される、耐破断性部と、
前記移植可能なリードと摩擦係合するように構成される、前記ルーメン内の内側表面とを備えることを特徴とする縫合糸スリーブ。 - 前記隆起パターンは、複数の隆起部を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の縫合糸スリーブ。
- 前記隆起パターンは、交差する隆起ラインのパターンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の縫合糸スリーブ。
- 前記沈降パターンは、複数の窪みを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の縫合糸スリーブ。
- 前記沈降パターンは、溝のパターンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の縫合糸スリーブ。
- 前記縫合糸が前記縫合糸受承領域のチャネル内に配置される際に、前記耐破断性部は、前記縫合糸受承領域の前記チャネル内に形成される前記外側表面と前記縫合糸との間の摩擦を低減することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の縫合糸スリーブ。
- 前記耐破断性部は、前記縫合糸受承領域の前記外側表面を形成する硬化した材料を更に含み、
前記縫合糸受承領域の前記外側表面は、前記ルーメン内の前記内側表面と比較してより硬いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の縫合糸スリーブ。 - 前記縫合糸受承領域の前記外側表面は第1の材料から形成され、前記ルーメンの前記内側表面は、第2の材料から形成され、該第1の材料は、該第2の材料より高いデュロメータ硬さを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の縫合糸スリーブ。
- 前記縫合糸スリーブは単一のタイプの材料を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の縫合糸スリーブ。
- 前記耐破断性部は、円滑なコーティングを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の縫合糸スリーブ。
- 前記縫合糸受承領域は、前記基端部と前記先端部との間にあり、
前記縫合糸受承領域の前記チャネルは、縫合糸の区域が前記チャネル内にあるとともに前記縫合糸受承領域の前記外側表面と接触する際に、前記縫合糸の区域が、前記基端部および前記先端部のいずれの上も延びない寸法に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の縫合糸スリーブ。 - 縫合糸とともに使用され、移植可能なリードを固定するための縫合糸スリーブを形成する方法であって、
基端部、先端部、外側表面、前記移植可能なリードを受承する寸法に形成されるルーメン、同ルーメン内の内側表面、および管状体の周囲のチャネルを有する管状体を形成する工程であって、該チャネルは、同チャネル内に該縫合糸を収容する寸法に形成される、管状体を形成する工程と、
前記チャネルに沿って前記チャネル内に形成される前記外側表面上に隆起パターンまたは沈降パターンを形成する工程であって、前記隆起パターンまたは沈降パターンにより、前記チャネル内に形成される前記外側表面の耐破断性が得られ、該隆起パターンまたは沈降パターンは前記チャネルに沿った、前記チャネル内に形成される前記外側表面上にのみ形成される、該隆起パターンまたは沈降パターンを形成する工程とを含むことを特徴とする縫合糸スリーブの形成方法。 - 前記外側表面を形成する材料を硬化するために、前記チャネルに沿って前記外側表面を処理する工程を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記隆起パターンは、前記チャネルに沿って前記外側表面から隆起するように形成されることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
