Description
The present invention relates to a joint connector with a built-in noise filter.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a type called a joint connector is known as a connector that collectively connects a plurality of electric wires derived from a plurality of electronic devices mounted on an automobile or the like. Among them, various types containing a capacitor as a noise filter element have been developed. As an example, Patent Document 1 below can be cited.
Here, there is disclosed a structure in which a plurality of bus bar pieces and a capacitor connected between the two bus bar pieces through each lead wire are incorporated in the housing.
However, in the configuration described above, sufficient consideration is not given to the support for the capacitor, and the capacitor itself is in a hollow state and is not supported by the housing or the bus bar piece. Therefore, there has been a concern that the connection reliability between the lead wire and the bus bar piece may be reduced when receiving vibration during traveling from an automobile or the like.
This invention is completed based on the above situations, Comprising: It aims at providing the joint connector which can support the electric element for noise filters stably.
The noise filter built-in joint connector of the present invention is a joint connector incorporating a noise filter electrical element,
A connector housing comprising a first chamber and a second chamber;
A plurality of joint terminal pieces having a plurality of tab portions juxtaposed in a state protruding into the first chamber and a connection portion protruding into the second chamber,
The noise filter electrical element is housed in the second chamber and connected to the connection portion of the joint terminal piece, and is supported by a support portion formed integrally with the joint terminal piece and extending into the second chamber. ,
The extending end portion of the support portion is inserted into the wall surface of the second chamber .
According to the present invention, since the noise filter electrical element is supported by the support portion formed integrally with the joint terminal piece, the noise filter electrical element can be stably supported.
A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described.
(1) In the joint connector with built-in noise filter of the present invention, it is preferable that each joint terminal piece is connected to the carrier so as to be detachable by a connecting piece, and the support portion is the connecting piece.
According to such a structure, since a support part can be comprised using the existing connection piece, it is not necessary to provide the support part for exclusive use for supporting the electrical element for noise filters.
(2) The noise filter electric element is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor, and a pair of lead wires are drawn from a lead surface formed on one end face of the capacitor, while the capacitor has a lead surface with respect to the support portion. It is good also as a structure which is supported by the attitude | position which faced the extending direction of this, and both lead wires are return | folded from the drawer surface and the front-end | tip part is connected with the connection part.
Contrary to such a configuration, if the direction of the lead surface from which the lead wire is drawn out in the direction of installation of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor is opposite to the extending direction of the support portion, it should be electrolyzed from the part where the lead wire is drawn out. When the liquid leaks, there is a concern about a short circuit because it is close to the tab portion, so that countermeasure is required. However, if the direction of the lead-out surface of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor is along the extending direction of the support part, the distance from the lead wire to the tab part should be long enough even if electrolyte leakage occurs. Since it can be secured, there is almost no risk of a short circuit.
<実施例1>
Next, Example 1 that embodies the joint connector with built-in noise filter of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
<Example 1>
The connector housing 1 of the joint connector according to the present embodiment is made of a synthetic resin and has a two-body configuration including a
The
Next, the joint terminal pieces UJ and LJ will be described. In the present embodiment, two joint terminal pieces UJ and LJ are provided, and these are assembled side by side with respect to the connector housing 1. As shown in FIG. 3, both joint terminal pieces UJ and LJ are formed by punching a conductive metal plate with a press, and a plurality of
In the joint terminal piece arranged on the upper side (hereinafter referred to as the upper stage joint terminal piece UJ), it is connected to the rear edge of the
As shown in FIG. 4, the lower joint terminal piece LJ is cut out and used by cutting off the connection to the
An aluminum electrolytic capacitor is used as the
Further, as shown in FIG. 5, a
Next, the function and effect of the present embodiment configured as described above will be described. First, an example of the assembly operation of the joint connector will be described. Both the joint terminal pieces UJ and LJ are press-fitted into the corresponding holding
Subsequently, the
Finally, if the
The noise current is removed from the upper joint terminal piece UJ via the
The effect of the present embodiment is as follows. In this embodiment, the
Since it is clamped between the pressing
The
Moreover, the
As described above, according to the present invention, since the noise filter
