Description
The present invention relates to a predicted value evaluation support system, and in particular, in OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) data analysis, when a value does not exist in an item, and when an existing value needs to be replaced with a predicted value, the item A method that enables evaluation by inserting a plurality of predicted values as extrapolated values, a method for managing the plurality of extrapolated values, and an OLAP cube each including the plurality of extrapolated values The present invention relates to a management method, a device method capable of evaluating and selecting an optimum predicted value from a plurality of extrapolated values, and a device method for storing an optimum predicted value.
In OLAP data analysis, a data mart that can be analyzed by collecting data from various systems is constructed, and a cube that can be analyzed by OLAP is created from the data mart. When acquiring data from these various systems, the value (major) may be lost depending on the item (level) of the OLAP axis (dimension) due to the difference in the data storage method of each system. is there. Moreover, although a value exists as an existing value, it may be better to analyze by replacing this with a predicted value. For example, when the value is a singular value due to an event, the accuracy of analysis may be improved by replacing it with a predicted value called an average value.
The following is an example when there are missing values.
When a chain store headquarters collects data from sales management systems at multiple stores managed by the headquarters to create an OLAP cube, the sales management system is a mix of new and old models and different manufacturers. If the system has sales amount data in a unique configuration, for example, the old sales management system has sales amount data only with a granularity of one day, but the new sales management system has a granularity of one second. I have sales amount data.
In this case, when “date and time” and “store” are selected as the axes, “1 hour unit” is selected as the “date and time” item, the data is acquired from “store (A)” having a new sales management system. Although “sales amount” exists and can be displayed, from “store (B)” having the old sales management system, the management granularity of the amount of sales is one day, so that “every hour” “Sales amount” cannot be displayed because it cannot exist (data loss), etc.
In this case, if the chain store headquarters wants to analyze sales in units of “1 hour” for all stores, the sales data for each hour of the store (B) becomes a NULL value in the data as it is, Sales analysis is not possible. Therefore, the chain store headquarters wants to perform sales analysis every hour by calculating and substituting the missing data by some approximate method.
There are various approximation methods for complementing the missing data, and it is necessary to determine which approximation method the complement value obtained from is good. Conventionally, an OLAP cube is created by creating a data mart for every predicted value (complement value). This has a problem of multiple data management. In addition, a method for managing approximate values obtained from a plurality of approximation methods has not been established.
Conventionally, there is no system that compensates for missing values of OLAP cubes in OLAP analysis. Conventionally, in order to compensate for the missing value of the OLAP cube, a predicted value that compensates for the missing value is prepared, and the predicted value is directly inserted into the original data mart of the OLAP cube. For this reason, when there are a plurality of predicted values, the data mart must be prepared for each predicted value, and a value (major) other than the predicted value has to be managed in a multiple manner.
Similarly, there is no method for replacing the predicted value with the existing value, and there is no method similar to the system for compensating for the missing value.
Furthermore, it is necessary for a current system to remember which prediction value is optimal among prediction values obtained from a plurality of prediction methods, and is not managed systematically. Therefore, when changing the optimal prediction value, there is a problem that a cube must be created manually from the data mart again, the optimal prediction value must be found, and the person must remember it again. It was.
An object of the present invention is to provide a prediction value evaluation support system that systematically manages a prediction method having an optimal prediction value so that a person does not remember the optimal prediction value.

In step S306, the predicted value
The predicted value
