Description

The present invention improves the problem of turning traveling that occurs when a cart equipped with conventional casters is rotated 180 degrees.

Conventional casters are tolerated for light weight but have unacceptable defects for medium and heavy transport equipment. The following are examples of malfunctions caused by the defects.
(B) At the airport, the heavy-duty trailers equipped with casters that were previously used were not able to rotate smoothly when reversing with a towing vehicle, and the wheels were dragged and damaged. Is a tow truck that uses a towbar integrated turntable system that cannot be driven backwards. Therefore, when the trailer is moved backward, it is separated from the towing vehicle and is inefficiently moved backward by human power.
However, since the heavy trailer cannot be operated backwards by manpower, it is forced to move forward and backward with a towing vehicle without changing the caster-equipped system, but the pneumatic tire is punctured and cannot be used. Therefore, no puncture tires are used but wear is severe.
(B) Since the container transfer stage using casters cannot perform a smooth moving operation, an expensive omni roller is currently used. However, the structure is complicated and vulnerable to impact.

Problems to be solved by the invention

Conventional casters have the following problems.
(B) There is a structural defect that allows the carriage to move only to the left and right by the amount of eccentricity of the caster when the carriage is reversing forward and backward. Therefore, when the left and right wheels of the cargo bed during reverse running are opposed to the letter C or the reverse letter C, the cargo bed is in a neutral state and cannot move left and right, so the wheels and swivel axis become stuck and the running stops. . If it is forcibly pulled, an unreasonable lateral pressure is applied to the wheel, and the tire is damaged because it is dragged.
(B) Even when the towbar of the carriage is connected to the towing vehicle, the loading platform cannot freely move left and right, so the same problem as in (a) above occurs.
The present invention is to solve the above problems.

Means for Solving the Invention

When the carriage goes straight, the wheels of the casters move to the left and right instead to make a flexible mechanism for smooth turning.
The turning spindle or hawk is not fixed vertically, but can be tilted up to about 5 degrees to the left and right when viewed from the front in the traveling direction of the wheel.
When the caster turns, the running load (rotation / turning) of the wheels increases as the angle changes from 1 to 45 degrees with respect to the traveling direction, and the wheels become stuck, and the side pressure applied to the wheels also increases. If the wheel, hawk, or main shaft tilts in response to the light side pressure just before that happens, the wheels will also be linked, so there will be no stalemate. The inclination of the main axis is restored to about 1-3 degrees for a moment. This continuous interlocking action eliminates the brake state and enables smooth turning and straight travel of the carriage.

Effect of the invention

Improved work efficiency and energy saving.
(B) Since it is possible to easily move backward with a tow vehicle (without causing damage to the wheel), the currently used towbar integrated turntable method is abolished, and if it is replaced, the reverse operation by human power can be omitted. Work efficiency is improved.
(B) If a new mechanism caster that is inexpensive and robust is used, the weight container on the stage can be easily rotated and transferred by one person.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below.
(A) Structure and assemble a commercial bearing without functioning or adding accessories.
(B) Modify existing casters to reduce production costs.
(C) Pay attention to simplification, weight reduction, durability enhancement, and price reduction of the structure.
(FIG. 1) A wheel is mounted with a moderate eccentric angle added to a spindle that can tilt within 5 degrees.
(FIG. 1) (FIG. 3) The contact gap between the base housing and the bearing is kept to a minimum, and the mechanism is free of backlash.
(Fig. 1) (Fig. 2) (Fig. 3) The bearing, the main shaft, and the fork in the base housing can be tilted within 5 degrees by the lateral pressure applied to the wheels, and the mechanism must be immediately recoverable.
