  The main body portion 10 </ b> D is different from the main body portion 10 in a configuration in which a wide shoulder strap portion 19 is sewn between the shoulder strap portion 18 and the cup portion 12. The wide shoulder strap portion 19 can be applied with a hardly stretchable or non-stretchable fabric. The wide shoulder strap portion 19 gradually increases in width from the shoulder strap portion 18 toward the upper side of the cup portion 12 and functions to cover the upper portion of the bust. Thus, the wide shoulder strap portion 19 and the ½ cup type cup portion 12 may be referred to as a 3/4 cup type or a full cup type. In such a form, the side edge part of the wide shoulder strap part 19 will function as the side part 12S of the cup part. Even with the brassiere 1D of the fifth embodiment, the same effects as the brassiere 1 of the first embodiment can be obtained.
(Modification of the fifth embodiment)

  In the brassiere 1D of the fifth embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, the side end portion of the first belt-like member 20 may also extend from the side portion 12S.
