Description
Claims (22)
- 筒状のコアリング・輸送アセンブリであって、前記コアリング・輸送アセンブリ内での回転用に構成された第1のピッチを有する第1の螺旋状構成部材を含む前記コアリング・輸送アセンブリと、
前記第1の螺旋状構成部材に直接連結され、その近位端から遠位端まで一定の曲率半径を規定する少なくとも1つの移動可能な非円錐形の切り取り要素を含む遠位の嘴状アセンブリであって、
軸を中心に回転し、
前記少なくとも1つの切り取り要素が組織をコアリングすることを可能にするように動作する少なくとも第1の開形態、及び前記少なくとも1つの切り取り要素が前記組織を通って移動してコアリングされた標本を前記組織から切除することを可能にするように動作する第2の閉形態をとるように構成されている、遠位の嘴状アセンブリと
を備える、生検装置。 - 前記コアリング・輸送アセンブリの少なくとも一部は前記軸を中心に回転するように構成されている、請求項1の生検装置。
- 前記遠位の嘴状アセンブリは前記コアリング・輸送アセンブリに連結されている、請求項1の生検装置。
- 前記第1の螺旋状構成部材は、前記コアリング・輸送アセンブリ内で該コアリング・輸送アセンブリに対して差動回転するように更に構成されている、請求項1の生検装置。
- 第2のピッチを有する第2の非回転、等回転又は差動回転螺旋状構成部材であって、前記第1の螺旋状構成部材に対して同軸に配置されている、第2の螺旋状構成部材を更に備える、請求項1の生検装置。
- 前記遠位の嘴状アセンブリは、切除された少なくとも一つの他の標本を前記筒状のコアリング・輸送アセンブリが近位方向に輸送するのと同時に、標本を前記組織から切除するようさらに構成されている、請求項1の生検装置。
- 前記遠位の嘴状アセンブリは第1の回転速度で回転するよう構成されており、前記筒状のコアリング・輸送アセンブリの少なくとも一部は回転可能に構成されている、請求項1の生検装置。
- 前記筒状のコアリング・輸送アセンブリの少なくとも一部は、前記第1の回転速度とは異なる第2の回転速度で回転可能に構成されている、請求項7の生検装置。
- 前記筒状のコアリング・輸送アセンブリは、前記第1及び第2の螺旋状構成部材の少なくとも一方とともに前記切除された標本に作用して、該切除された標本を近位方向に輸送するように構成された施条特徴を持った内面を有する中空シャフトを備える、請求項5の生検装置。
- 前記中空シャフトに連結された吸引レセプタクルであって、前記組織内の部位から吸引された液体を受け入れるとともに保管するように構成されている、吸引レセプタクルを更に備える、請求項9の生検装置。
- 前記遠位の嘴状アセンブリによって切除された順に、標本を連続的に受け入れて保管するように構成された標本保管マガジンを更に備える、請求項1の生検装置。
- 前記組織保管マガジンは、放射線透過性材料及びエコー透過性材料のうちの少なくとも一方を含む、請求項11の生検装置。
- 前記組織保管マガジンは、内側の螺旋状標本輸送アセンブリを含む、請求項11の生検装置。
- 少なくとも前記組織保管マガジンに連結された、真空源及び加圧空気源の少なくとも一方を更に備える、請求項11の生検装置。
- 前記組織保管マガジンは、異なる長さの標本を受け入れるとともに保管するように構成されている、請求項11の生検装置。
- 前記コアリング・輸送アセンブリの長手方向に対して実質的に平行に延びる取り外し可能なガイド要素をさらに備える、請求項1の生検装置。
- 前記取り外し可能なガイド要素はレーザを含む、請求項16の生検装置。
- 前記取り外し可能なガイド要素は針及びワイヤの一方を含む、請求項16の生検装置。
- 前記コアリング・輸送アセンブリは、長手方向軸を規定し外面及び内面を有する中空シャフトを備え、前記遠位の嘴状アセンブリは前記シャフトの遠位端に接続され、前記生検装置は、組織を切り取りながら前記中空シャフト及び前記遠位の嘴状アセンブリを前記長手方向軸に沿って移動させて、前記中空シャフト及び前記遠位の嘴状アセンブリの遠位の向きの移動範囲を選択的に長くするか又は短くするように構成されたキャリッジアセンブリをさらに備える、請求項1の生検装置。
- 前記中空シャフト及び前記遠位の嘴状アセンブリの前記移動範囲を選択的に長くするか又は短くすることは、前記組織から切り取られる前記標本の長さを対応して長くするか又は短くする、請求項19の生検装置。
- 前記キャリッジアセンブリは、操作者によって手動で作動され、或いは、電気モータによって作動されるように構成されている、請求項19の生検装置。
- 前記筒状のコアリング・輸送アセンブリは、第1の直径の長手方向内腔を含む中空シャフトを備え、前記遠位の嘴状アセンブリは、第1の蝶着された切り取り要素及び第2の蝶着された切り取り要素を含み、前記遠位の嘴状アセンブリは、前記第1及び第2の切り取り要素が組織から前記第1の直径よりも大きい第2の直径のコアを切り取るように動作する第1の形態、及び前記第1及び第2の切り取り要素が前記組織を通って移動し、前記コアを切除するように動作する第2の形態をとるように構成され、前記筒状のコアリング・輸送アセンブリは、切除された前記コアを圧縮して該圧縮されたコアを前記中空シャフトを通して輸送するようにさらに構成されている、請求項1の生検装置。
