The present invention relates to an absorbent article used for absorbing liquid discharged from the body, such as a sanitary napkin, a female incontinence pad, and a panty liner (cage sheet).
Conventionally, as an absorbent article such as a sanitary napkin, there is known an article having a top sheet that forms a skin contact surface, a back sheet that forms a non-skin contact surface, and a vertically long absorbent body positioned between both sheets. It has been.
In addition, it is known that an absorbent body of such an absorbent article is configured by folding a high-density absorbent sheet in which superabsorbent polymer particles are held between fiber layers.
However, a high-density absorbent sheet tends to have insufficient liquid transfer from the top sheet to the absorbent sheet.
In addition, in
However, the thing of
Therefore, the subject of this invention is providing the absorbent article excellent in the transferability of a liquid.
The present invention is an absorbent article used for absorption of body fluid, comprising a top sheet that forms a skin contact surface, a back sheet that forms a non-skin contact surface, and a vertically long absorbent body positioned between both sheets. The absorbent body has a lower absorbent body and an upper absorbent body disposed on the skin contact surface side of the lower absorbent body, and the upper absorbent body comprises a flat absorbent sheet, The upper absorbent body has a multi-layered portion in which the absorbent sheet is folded into three or more layers on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body, and a concave portion on the surface sheet side between the pair of multi-layered portions. Each of the multi-layered portions is joined to at least one adjacent layer, and both end portions of the absorbent sheet in the width direction of the absorbent body are disposed in the width direction of the absorbent body. Position of the inwardly folded part that is folded back It is located there than or outwardly, there is provided an absorbent article.
The absorbent article of this invention is excellent in the liquid transferability from a surface sheet to an absorbent sheet.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described based on preferred embodiments with reference to the drawings.
A sanitary napkin 1 (hereinafter also simply referred to as a napkin 1) according to a first embodiment of the present invention includes a
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
As shown in FIG. 1, the

On the other hand, in the upper
More specifically, in the upper
The
Further, since the
The
As shown in FIG. 2, the pair of
As shown in FIG. 2, the
In addition, each of the
In the
Moreover, in the
According to the
Moreover, it is also possible to prevent the liquid from accumulating between the layers of the
Further, in the
In addition, as an effect by the
Due to the synergistic effect of such action, according to the
From the viewpoint of ensuring the above-described effects, the
From the viewpoint of ensuring that the above-described effects are more reliably exhibited, the distance L1 between the pair of multilayer portions 41 (separated distance in the Y direction, see FIG. 2) is preferably 10 to 40 mm. Preferably it is 15-35 mm. In addition, it is not preferable that the interval L1 is less than 10 mm, particularly 5 mm or less, because the excretion point is shifted from the interval L1 during a large amount of excretion and the effect is reduced.
Moreover, when extending the both sides of the
Moreover, in the
Moreover, in the
Further, the upper
In this way, by fixing the upper
In the
In such an
Moreover, in the

[Evaluation]
Each sanitary napkin of Examples and Comparative Examples was evaluated by the following method. The results are shown in Table 1.
[1. (Liquid remaining amount)
Each obtained sanitary napkin was attached to a movable female lumbar model, and after wearing shorts, the lumbar model was allowed to walk for 1 minute at a walking speed of 100 steps / minute, and then defibrinated horse blood [Nippon Biotest Laboratories Co., Ltd.] 1.5 g was injected in 15 seconds. Thereafter, after walking for 3 minutes, 1.5 g of defibrinated horse blood was again injected in the same manner and allowed to walk for 3 minutes. Such an operation was repeated until a total of 6 g was injected, and then walked again for 1 minute to collect a sanitary napkin.
The surface sheet was peeled off from the collected sanitary napkin, and the operations of weight measurement → washing → drying → weight measurement were performed, and the amount of liquid remaining on the surface was calculated from the difference between the weight before washing and the weight after drying.
In washing, horse blood was washed away with running water, dried for 15 minutes in a drying oven (temperature set at 70 ° C.), and then the weight of the topsheet was measured.
Three samples were prepared for each sanitary napkin, and the average value of the remaining liquid amount measured as described above is shown in Table 1.
[2. (Surface whiteness)
Thereafter, after walking for 3 minutes, 1.5 g was again injected in the same manner and allowed to walk for 3 minutes. Such an operation was repeated until a total of 6 g was injected, and then walked again for 1 minute to collect a sanitary napkin. About the collect | recovered sanitary napkin, the whiteness was measured using the color difference meter made from Nippon Denshoku Industries (model | form: NF333) from the surface sheet.
Three samples were prepared for each sanitary napkin, and the average value of the surface whiteness measured as described above is shown in Table 1. The higher the numerical value of the surface whiteness, the more white it is, that is, the smaller the amount of liquid retained in this evaluation.
From the results shown in Table 1, according to the sanitary napkin of the examples of the present invention, the liquid remaining amount is small and the whiteness is also high. Therefore, the liquid transfer from the top sheet to the absorber, or the absorption to the absorber. It turns out that the nature was high. In this way, the side end of the absorbent sheet constituting the upper absorbent body is located inward from the position of the inwardly bent portion (Comparative Examples 1 and 2), and the layers of the multilayer portions are not joined (Comparative Example 3), and those without a gap between the multilayer portions (Comparative Example 4) have a larger liquid remaining amount than Examples 1 to 3, and are inferior in the transferability of the liquid to the absorber. I understand that. Moreover, although Comparative Examples 1-3 has much liquid remaining amount, since the surface whiteness is equivalent to Examples 1-3, although the liquid absorbed by the surface sheet moved to the absorber side in a surface sheet It was considered that the liquid could not be sufficiently transferred to the absorber or once returned to the absorber, but was not retained in the absorber and returned to the surface sheet.
