垂木7の前側端は桁5の後面5aに当接してあり、パネル押え取付部14の前端部14aのみを桁5の後面5aよりも前側に配置してキャップ8をねじ33で固定しているので、柱カバー17の上端17aは桁5の前面のみを覆うだけでキャップ8と連続した輪郭を形成できるから、柱3a、3bから上方に突設する柱カバー17の寸法を小さくできる。したがって、柱カバー17は柱3a、3bに取付けていない部分の寸法が小さいからキャップ8との係合のみでも安定に取付けできる。
キャップ8を止めているねじ33を外すだけでキャップ8を容易に外すことができ、キャップ8が簡単に外せるから、桁5の横樋部25の清掃が容易にできる。
また、ねじ33を外してキャップ8を外すことにより、柱カバー17は容易に外すことができるので、端部柱3aに収納された縦樋19の清掃も容易にできる。
