しかし、購入時に新たな紙袋に入れる手法は、生理用ナプキンのようなパッケージサイズの小さい商品ならまだしも、使い捨ておむつのようにパッケージが大きいものでは用い難い。また、作業も煩雑となる。この問題に対して、包装袋の外面における内容物表示印刷を省略する、又は目立たない程度に小さくするといった解決手段も考えられるが、商品陳列における告知効果が無くなってしまう。
