また、上記した外蓋30の締め込みにより、外蓋30の頂壁部33に設けられたインナーリング38が中栓10の注出筒15の上端開口部に液密に嵌合され、複合キャップ1が確実にリシールされる。
さらに、上記した外蓋30のストッパ部22が中栓10のストッパ部21に突き当たる直前の位置にて、外蓋30の内向き凸部34が中栓10の外向き凸部14を乗り越えて係合するので、クリック感によって締め込み操作の終了を確実に認識することできる。また、この外蓋30の内向き凸部34と中栓10の環状の外向き凸部14との係合によって、外蓋30の締め付け強さに関わらず、閉め込み終了後の外蓋30の緩みを防止できる。
このように、外蓋30の緩みの防止は、中栓10の雄ねじ部19と外蓋30の雌ねじ部39の係合ではなく、外蓋30の内向き凸部34と中栓10の環状の外向き凸部14の係合関係で行うため、複合キャップ1のリシールにおいては、上記した中栓10及び外蓋30の各ねじ山19a,39aの係合は軽く接触する程度でよい。
