Description
The present invention relates to a fire extinguishing sprinkler head, and more particularly to a protective cap that protects the sprinkler head from external forces during transportation of the sprinkler head or during construction, and a tool for removing the protective cap.
The sprinkler head is installed on a ceiling surface or a wall surface in a building, has a nozzle that can be connected to a pipe connected to a water supply source at one end, and a heat-sensitive operation unit at the other end. During normal times, the heat-sensitive operating part supports a valve body that closes the nozzle.
As an example of the sprinkler head, there is a conshielded sprinkler head in which the sprinkler head described in
The sprinkler head shown in FIG. 12 has a cylindrical member A provided outside the sprinkler head SH, and a cylindrical retainer B having a cover plate P joined thereto by a low melting point alloy can be connected to the lower portion of the cylindrical member A. It has become.
As a structure of the connecting portion between the tubular member A and the retainer B, a spiral groove A1 carved in the lower part of the tubular member A and a projection B1 projecting from the outer peripheral surface of the retainer B are configured to be screwable. .
When the retainer B is connected to the cylindrical member A, the sprinkler head SH, the cylindrical member A, and the retainer B are arranged on the back of the ceiling, and only the cover plate P is arranged close to the ceiling C. Since the cover plate P is connected to the retainer B by a low melting point alloy, the cover plate P falls due to heat at the time of fire. The sprinkler head SH is exposed when the cover plate P falls.
When the sprinkler head SH is exposed in the event of a fire, the thermal operation part G of the sprinkler head SH is subsequently activated / destructed, and water is sprayed from the sprinkler head SH by opening the valve body inside the sprinkler head SH. It will be erased.
In the conshielded sprinkler head, as shown in FIG. 12, a cylindrical protective cap D is fitted on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member in order to prevent deformation or damage due to external impact during transportation or construction. The protective cap D is tightly fitted in the cylindrical member A so as not to be easily removed by the external impact.
The sprinkler head SH has an engaging portion K between which the fastening tool is engaged between the frame F and the pipe connecting screw portion T. When the sprinkler head SH is attached to the pipe, the protective cap D is a cylindrical member. After removing from A, the engagement portion K of the sprinkler head SH in the cylinder member A is gripped by a fastening tool, and the screw portion T of the sprinkler head SH is screwed into the screw portion on the piping side.
When the connection with the pipe is completed, the protective cap D is fitted into the cylindrical member A again in order to protect the sprinkler head SH from external force during the construction of the ceiling board. When the construction of the ceiling board is completed, the protective cap D is removed and the retainer B on which the cover plate P is installed is attached to the cylindrical member A. Then, the sprinkler head SH in the cylindrical member A is constructed so as to be concealed by the cover plate P.
Therefore, in the conshield head described above, the protective cap D is removed twice, and the operator frequently attaches and removes the protective cap D. Further, when the protective cap D is removed, the tubular member A and the protective cap D are tightly fitted, so that the removal work of the protective cap D is not performed smoothly and takes time.
In addition, when the hole H through which the retainer B is inserted is drilled in the ceiling C as shown in FIG. 12, the hole H may be overfilled with the
Therefore, in the present invention, in view of the above problems, even when the protective cap is tightly fitted to the cylindrical member of the sprinkler head or when the putty used for repairing the ceiling hole is attached to the outer surface of the protective cap. An object of the present invention is to provide a protective cap and a protective cap removing tool capable of easily removing the cap.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides the following protective cap for a sprinkler head and the protective cap removing tool.
It is a tool for removing the protective cap fitted to the cylindrical member with a bottomed cylindrical shape installed outside the sprinkler head main body connected to the water supply pipe, and the main body of the tool is inside the cylindrical protective cap. It has a claw that can be engaged with the tool locking part formed inside the protective cap on one end side of the main body, and the outer peripheral part of the main body can move along the inner side of the protective cap The other end side of the main body is a protective cap removal tool which is a gripping portion.
According to this, compared with the case where the protective cap removal tool (hereinafter referred to as “tool”) is not used, the burden on the operator can be greatly reduced. Specifically, when a tool is not used, an operator reaches for the protective cap protruding from the hole drilled in the ceiling, grasps the protective cap, and removes the protective cap from the sprinkler head. However, by using the tool, the operator does not have to reach to the ceiling, and the protective cap is removed from the sprinkler head by operating the tool to engage the protective cap with the tool and pulling the tool downward. And the burden on the operator is greatly reduced. Therefore, even when the protective cap is tightly fitted to the cylindrical member of the sprinkler head, the protective cap can be easily removed from the sprinkler head by using a tool.
In addition, the tool engaging portion of the protective cap is formed inside the protective cap, and the claw formed on the main body of the tool can be engaged with the aforementioned tool engaging portion. Even when the putty is attached, the tool engaging portion of the protective cap and the claw of the tool can be engaged. The protective cap and the tool body are engaged so that they can be rotated. If the putty is attached to the outer surface of the protective cap, the protective cap will also rotate when the tool is rotated. The putty attached to the can be peeled off. When releasing the engagement, it is rotated in the direction opposite to the aforementioned rotation direction. Thereby, engagement / disengagement can be performed by a simple operation.
Furthermore, since the outer periphery of the tool body can be moved along the inner side of the protective cap, the tool can be fitted and locked in the protective cap in a coaxial state. The tool and the protective cap can be prevented from coming off when the tool is rotated with the claw of the tool engaged or when the tool is pulled downward.
As for the tool, a claw that engages the protective cap in the direction in which the protective cap is pulled out from the sprinkler head is formed as a first engaging portion on the main body, and the protective cap and the tool are provided separately from the first engaging portion. A second engaging portion that engages with each other is formed. According to this, it becomes possible to form a 2nd engaging part in a position different from the nail | claw which is a 1st engaging part on the main body of a tool.
About the said tool, a nail | claw can be installed in the outer peripheral part of a main body, and a tool engaging part can be installed in the inner peripheral part of a protective cap, and can be comprised. According to this, when rotating a tool and a protective cap, it can be rotated with a small torque, and an operator's burden can be reduced.
About the said tool, the guide part which guides a nail | claw to the tool engaging part of a protective cap can be installed in a main body, and can be comprised.
According to this, when the tool main body is fitted inside the protective cap, the claw is engaged with the tool by moving the guide portion of the tool along the contact portion with the guide portion formed inside the protective cap. It can be guided to the stop portion and engaged with the tool locking portion.
About the said tool, the stopper can be provided in the main body so that the protective cap and the tool can be fitted to a predetermined position.
According to this, it is possible to prevent the sprinkler head component housed in the protective cap from interfering with the tool.
The tool can be configured by providing a strip container in the main body or the grip.
According to this, when the protective cap and the tool are rotated with the protective cap and the tool engaged, there is a possibility that the putty attached to the outer surface of the protective cap will peel off and soil the floor surface. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the drop to the floor surface by storing the putty exfoliation in the exfoliation container.
The present invention also provides a protective cap that can be engaged with any of the tools according to the present invention. In other words, the protective cap has a cylindrical shape, and a tool engaging portion that can be engaged with the claw of the tool is installed on the inner side thereof, and a space for inserting the claw to the tool engaging portion can be formed and configured. .
According to this, since the tool claw can be engaged with the tool engaging portion installed inside the protective cap by forming the space, the cylindrical member of the protective cap and the sprinkler head is tightly fitted. Even so, the protective cap can be removed by using a tool. Therefore, by tightly fitting the protective cap and the cylindrical member of the sprinkler head, it is possible to prevent the protective cap from coming off due to the impact when the sprinkler head receives an external impact.
The protective cap can be configured by forming a spiral groove on the outer surface of the protective cap. According to this, even when the putty is fixed to the outer surface of the protective cap when the protective cap is removed from the sprinkler head, the putty can be peeled off from the outer surface of the protective cap by rotating the tool and the protective cap. . When the tool and the protective cap are rotated, the protective cap rotates along the spiral groove, and the protective cap rotates downward along the hardened putty side spiral groove to remove the protective cap from the sprinkler head. Can do.
As described above, according to the present invention, even when the protective cap is tightly fitted to the cylindrical member of the sprinkler head or when the putty used for repairing the ceiling hole is attached to the outer surface of the protective cap. It is possible to provide a protective cap and a protective cap removing tool capable of easily removing the protective cap.
1st Embodiment (FIGS. 1-9)
The protective cap and protective cap removal tool of the first embodiment are applied to a sprinkler head having substantially the same configuration as the sprinkler head described in International Publication No. 2011/125169. Here, only the part related to the present invention will be described, and description of other parts will be omitted.
A sprinkler head SH shown in FIG. 1 includes a
The
A
A tongue-
More specifically, a connecting
The connecting
The side surface 46A and the
The connecting
The outer diameter of the
In the lower part of the
The
A
In the vicinity of the
An
A
Next, a procedure for removing the

At this time, the

As a modified example of the
Further, in the modification shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 9, a
Second Embodiment (FIG. 10)
Next, the second embodiment will be described. The difference between the second embodiment and the first embodiment is that the shape of the protective cap is different. In addition, the same code | symbol is attached | subjected to the location same as 1st Embodiment, and detailed description is abbreviate | omitted.
In the second embodiment, the tool engaging portion with the
The
When the
When the
Thereafter, when the
Third Embodiment (FIG. 11)
Next, a third embodiment will be described. The difference between the third embodiment and the first embodiment is that a spiral groove is formed in the outer peripheral portion of the extended
