  Referring to FIGS. 1-6 and 7 and 8, the cigarette package indicated generally by the reference numeral 1 has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape with a longitudinal axis A and is formed from paperboard. An outer packaging member 2 and an inner packaging member 3 formed from paperboard are provided.
