Description

The present invention relates to a headrest, and more particularly to a headrest fixed to a support member that supports a backrest of a wheelchair.

In recent years, there is a case where a user who uses a wheelchair is put on the wheelchair together with the wheelchair.
By the way, although a general wheelchair is provided with a backrest, a headrest is not provided. In such a case, a user who rides a car with such a general wheelchair is in a car that travels without a headrest.
For this reason, if the car on board suddenly brakes or collides with another car, there is nothing to support the head of the user seated in such a general wheelchair. The neck may be damaged.

Therefore, a headrest to be attached to a wheelchair has been proposed.
For example, as a headrest to be attached to such a wheelchair, comprising a pillow part, an inverted substantially U-shaped support pipe that supports the pillow part to be lifted from both sides, and an attachment fixed to the backrest frame of the wheelchair, There has been proposed a headrest in which a lower end portion of a support pipe is inserted and fixed to a fixture from above (Patent Document 1).
According to this wheelchair headrest mechanism, the pillow portion for supporting the head of the user seated in the wheelchair can be detachably attached to the wheelchair.

By the way, when the wheelchair is not used, it is folded in the direction of narrowing the width. When the wheelchair is folded, the headrest of Patent Document 1 cannot be folded from the wheelchair because the pillow portion and the inverted substantially U-shaped support pipe that supports the pillow portion cannot be folded. That is, when using a wheelchair, it is necessary to attach the headrest after expanding the wheelchair.

The width of the wheelchair varies depending on the vehicle type. For this reason, when the headrest attached to a certain wheelchair is attached to another wheelchair having a different width, it is necessary to adjust the width of the headrest.
However, the headrest of Patent Document 1 needs to adjust the width of the inverted substantially U-shaped support pipe to the width of the wheelchair and adjust the portion where the support pipe and the pillow portion are joined. It is complicated.

An object of this invention is to provide the headrest which can be folded with a wheelchair and can adjust width | variety easily.

(1) A headrest fixed to a support member that supports a backrest of a wheelchair,
A pair of fixed portions fixed to the support member, extending upward from below and formed in a cylindrical body;
A pair of shaft portions respectively inserted from the lower end side into the pair of fixed portions from above;
The left and right side edges are fixed to the upper end sides of the pair of shaft portions, formed in a cloth-like body made of a flexible material, and provided with a main body that supports the head of a user seated in the wheelchair,
The main body includes a cylindrical shaft portion insertion portion in which the shaft portion is inserted into one side edge, and a first surface joint formed in a range from one end portion to the center in the left-right direction of one surface. And a second surface joint portion that is formed in a range from the center to the other end portion and is detachably joined to the first surface joint portion,
A pair of the main body is formed by inserting one of the shaft portions into the shaft portion insertion portion, folding the other shaft portion around a fulcrum, and joining the first surface joining portion and the second surface joining portion. A headrest fixed to the shaft portion of the head.

According to the structure of (1), a headrest is fixed to the support member which supports the backrest of a wheelchair, and is provided with a pair of fixing | fixed part, a pair of axial part, and a main body.
The pair of fixing portions are fixed to a support member of the wheelchair, extend upward from below, and are formed in a cylindrical body.
The pair of shaft portions are respectively inserted into the pair of fixed portions from above from the lower side.
The main body has left and right side edges fixed to the upper end sides of the pair of shaft portions, is formed in a cloth-like body made of a flexible material, and supports the head of a user seated in a wheelchair.
The main body has a shaft portion insertion portion, a first surface joint portion, and a second surface joint portion.
The shaft portion insertion portion is formed in a cylindrical shape on one side edge, and the shaft portion is inserted therein.
The first surface bonding portion is formed in a range from one end to the center in the left-right direction of one surface.
The second surface joint portion is formed in a range from the center to the other end portion, and is detachably joined to the first surface joint portion.
Then, the main body has one fixed portion inserted into the shaft portion insertion portion, the other fixed portion is folded back to a fulcrum, and the first surface joint portion and the second surface joint portion are joined, so that the pair of shaft portions are joined. Fixed.

According to such a configuration, when the wheelchair is folded, the pair of fixing portions fixed to the support member of the wheelchair approach each other. And since the main body that supports the head of the user seated in the wheelchair is formed of a flexible material in a cloth-like body, when the wheelchair is folded, both side edges of the main body are inserted into the pair of fixing portions. Following the shaft part, they are adjacent to each other and the middle part is bent.
Therefore, the wheelchair can be folded with the headrest attached to the wheelchair.

Moreover, according to the structure of this invention, when attaching the headrest attached to a certain wheelchair to the other wheelchair from which width differs, the width | variety of a headrest is adjusted in the following procedures.
First, the joint between the first surface joint portion and the second surface joint portion of the main body in the headrest adjusted to the width of a certain wheelchair is released.
And a pair of axial part is each inserted in a pair of fixing | fixed part fixed to the other wheelchair. The width between the pair of shafts at this time is the width of the headrest in another wheelchair.

Next, the main body in which one shaft portion is inserted into the shaft portion insertion portion is folded back with the other shaft portion as a fulcrum, and the first surface joint portion and the second surface joint portion are joined.
Thereby, the operation | work which attaches the headrest attached to the certain wheelchair to the other wheelchair from which width differs is completed.

Thus, while adjusting the attachment position with the main body, without adjusting the width of the pair of shaft portions that support the main body, the pair of shafts is simply connected to the pair of fixing portions fixed to the support member of the wheelchair. The headrest attached to a certain wheelchair can be attached to another wheelchair having a different width simply by inserting the portion and folding back the main body with the shaft portion as a fulcrum.
Therefore, it is possible to provide a headrest that can be folded together with the wheelchair and can be easily adjusted in width.

(2) The shaft portion is
A shaft member that extends in the vertical direction, is inserted into the shaft insertion portion of the main body or serves as a fulcrum for folding the main body, and the main body is fixed;
An upper pressing member that is disposed at the upper end of the shaft member and presses the upper end of the main body;
A lower pressing member that is disposed at an intermediate portion of the shaft member and presses a lower end of the main body;
The shaft member includes a shaft bonding member that is disposed between the upper pressing member and the lower pressing member and is bonded to the first surface bonding portion or the second surface bonding portion of the main body (1 ) Headrest.

According to the configuration of (2), the shaft portion includes the shaft member, the upper pressing member, the lower pressing member, and the shaft bonding member.
The shaft member extends in the vertical direction, is inserted into the shaft portion insertion portion of the main body, or serves as a fulcrum for folding the main body, and the main body is fixed.
The upper pressing member is disposed at the upper end of the shaft member and presses the upper end of the main body.
The lower pressing member is disposed at an intermediate portion of the shaft member and presses the lower end of the main body.
The shaft portion joining member is disposed between the upper pressing member and the lower pressing member in the shaft member, and is joined to the first surface joining portion or the second surface joining portion of the main body.

According to such a configuration, the upper pressing member can prevent the main body fixed to the shaft member from being pulled upward. Further, the lower pressing member can prevent the main body fixed to the shaft member from being displaced downward. Moreover, it can prevent that the main body fixed to the shaft member shifts | deviates from a predetermined position with a shaft part joining member.

Further, when fixing the main body to the shaft portion, the main body with one shaft portion inserted into the shaft portion insertion portion is connected to the shaft portion joining member of the other shaft portion and the first surface joining portion or the second surface joining portion of the body. Then, the other shaft portion is folded back to a fulcrum to join the first surface joint portion and the second surface joint portion.
Thus, by joining the shaft part joining member of the shaft part and the first surface joining part or the second surface joining part of the body at a desired position where the body is desired to be fixed at the shaft part, the body is folded back. With the main body held at a desired position, the main body can be folded back to join the first surface bonding portion and the second surface bonding portion.
Therefore, the main body can be easily fixed at a desired position where the main body is desired to be fixed at the shaft portion.

(3) In (2), at least one of the pair of shaft portions further includes an adjustment member that is slidably fixed to the shaft member below the lower pressing member and abuts on an upper end of the fixed portion. The listed headrest.

According to the structure of (3), the height of the main body fixed to the axial part and the axial part is hold | maintained because an adjustment member contact | abuts the upper end of a fixing | fixed part.

Here, when the user of the wheelchair is put on the car together with the wheelchair, the headrest is indispensable for the case where the car suits an accident or the like. On the other hand, for example, when the caregiver pushes the wheelchair, if the headrest is attached to the wheelchair, the caregiver cannot see the feet of the user seated in the wheelchair. For this reason, it is desirable to remove the headrest except when it is put on a car, and to attach the headrest when it is put on the car.
In addition, when a wheelchair user is put on a car together with the wheelchair, the car is stopped on the shoulder of the roadway and is put on board. At this time, if the width of the roadway is narrow, the subsequent vehicle is made to wait until the user and the wheelchair are put on the vehicle.
On the other hand, if the headrest attached to the wheelchair is not arranged behind the head of the user seated in the wheelchair, the function as the headrest cannot be exhibited.
For this reason, when a user of a wheelchair is put on the vehicle together with the wheelchair, it is necessary to quickly attach the headrest to the wheelchair and to arrange the headrest behind the head of the user seated in the wheelchair.

According to the invention of (3), the adjustment member is slid on the shaft member, and is fixed at a position where the main body is at a desired height, whereby the shaft portion is removed from the fixing member, and the shaft is again attached to the fixing member. The main body can be installed at a desired height by inserting the portion and bringing the adjustment member into contact with the upper end of the fixed portion.
Therefore, the main body can be installed at a desired height by simply inserting the shaft portion into the fixing member until the adjustment member makes contact with the upper end of the fixing member, so that the headrest can be quickly attached to the wheelchair. It can be arranged behind the head of the user who is seated on the head.

ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the headrest which can be folded with a wheelchair and can adjust width | variety easily can be provided.
