原反となるポリエチレンフィルム11としてリケンテクノス製「FZ」(120μm)を用い、表裏ともコロナ処理を施した。このポリエチレンフィルム11の表面に絵柄模様層12として東洋インキ製造(株)製ウレタンインキ「V351」を用い、木目柄の印刷を施した。同時にこのポリエチレンフィルム11の裏面に、熱硬化性ポリウレタン樹脂層2として、前記インキと同種のレジンで顔料を添加せずシリカビーズを添加した東洋インキ製造(株)製「V324URLSメジウム」を用い、これを1μm塗布厚でグラビア法にて印刷した。
その後、前記絵柄模様層12の表面側に表面保護層13として、DICグラフィックス(株)製2液硬化型アクリル樹脂「W480」を用い、これをグラビア方式にて10μm塗布厚で塗工した。
最後に、以上のようにして得たシートを枚葉に切り出し、前記熱硬化性ポリウレタン樹脂層2の裏面側に無水マレイン酸グラフト化ポリプロピレン樹脂層3として、日本シーマ(株)製「B502」を用い、シルクスクリーン方式にて3μm塗布厚に塗工し、80℃で1分間乾燥させ、本発明のポリプロピレン系樹脂射出成形品用インサート化粧シートを作成した。
