Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
First, the appearance and configuration of the information processing apparatus 1 will be outlined.
FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating an appearance of the information processing apparatus 1, FIG. 1A is a perspective view of the information processing apparatus 1, and FIG. 1B is a view of the information processing apparatus 1 from above. FIG. 1C is a side view of the long side of the information processing apparatus 1.
FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line AA of the information processing apparatus 1, and FIG.
As illustrated in FIG. 1, the information processing apparatus 1 according to the present embodiment includes a top surface including a

In addition, as illustrated in FIG. 2, the upper unit of the information processing apparatus 1 includes a
Further, as illustrated in FIG. 3, since the peripheral edge portion of the

As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the
Further, as illustrated in FIG. 6, a waterproof packing 210 is provided in a region where the

Next, a hinge mechanism for opening and closing the upper unit of the information processing apparatus 1 will be described.

As illustrated in FIG. 11, at the time of closing, the
When opening the upper unit, first, the end of the upper unit (top plate 20) on the side where the hinge mechanism is provided is slightly lifted, and as shown in FIG. When it is slid to the position where it is engaged with 220 and then the lifted end is lowered, the

In addition, a lock sensor 234 for an open / close lock mechanism between the upper unit and the lower unit is provided.

The CPU 500 is a central processing unit.
The storage unit 510 is, for example, a memory and a hard disk, and stores a computer program and the like. The storage unit 510 of this example stores a program including a screen control unit 512, a weighted warning unit 514, and a lock warning unit 516.
The power source 530 supplies power to each component of the information processing unit 5. The external I / F 540 is an external interface. The LAN 550 is a wired LAN port, but may include a wireless LAN module.

More specifically, the screen control unit 512 determines the position and the number of people in the vicinity of the
Further, as illustrated in FIG. 19B, the screen control unit 512 may display a sub window on the main window according to the number of people. In this case, the main window is displayed in full screen, and the sub-window is a movable window that overlaps the main window.
As described above, according to the information processing apparatus 1 of the present embodiment, the

As shown in Comparative Example 1 shown in FIG. 22, a large touch panel can be obtained by photographing a user operation on the glass surface with an infrared camera or the like while projecting an image on the glass surface to which the diffusion sheet is attached. It can be realized. However, this comparative example 1 has a low resolution and is not suitable for high definition. Moreover, it is difficult to detect an early touch operation. There are also difficulties in using in dark places.
Further, as in Comparative Example 2 shown in FIG. 22, a large touch panel in which an infrared touch sensor is provided on a large screen monitor is also conceivable. However, in this comparative example 2, since a step for installing the infrared touch sensor is required, in addition to being difficult to use as a table, water accumulates on the touch panel, making drip-proofing difficult. There are also difficulties in terms of resolution and refinement.
Further, as in Comparative Example 3 shown in FIG. 22, a large touch panel that can detect a touch operation even if the touch panel antenna is provided inside the glass and the surface is covered with tempered glass or the like is also conceivable. However, in Comparative Example 3, the touch panel antenna is visible inside the glass.
Compared with these, in the information processing apparatus 1 according to the present embodiment, the upper surface of the
[Modification]
Next, a modification of the above embodiment will be described.
20 and 21 are diagrams schematically illustrating a modification of the information processing apparatus 1.
The information processing apparatus 1 of the above embodiment has a substantially horizontal bottom surface and is used by placing it on an existing table or the like. However, the information processing apparatus 1 of the present modification is located below the
