Description

The present invention relates to a needle that is inserted into a puncture route leading from a skin to a subcutaneous blood vessel and punctured into a blood vessel.

For example, when blood purification treatment such as dialysis treatment is performed, a needle is inserted into a blood vessel through a patient's skin, and blood is collected and returned from the needle. This puncture needs to be performed every time during the blood purification process, but each time it gives great pain to the patient. Therefore, in recent years, in order to reduce pain at the time of puncture, a sharp normal needle is punctured at the first puncture to form a puncture route 102 that leads from the body skin 100 to the blood vessel 101 as shown in FIG. At the second and subsequent punctures, a so-called buttonhole puncture method is used in which the crust 103 is removed, and a dull needle with low sharpness is inserted into the puncture route 102 to puncture the blood vessel 101 (see Patent Document 1). According to this method, since it is not necessary to make a new hole in the skin 100 for the second and subsequent punctures, the pain of the patient is reduced. Generally, a sharp blade surface 110a is formed at the tip of the normal needle 110 as shown in FIG. 10, and the tip of the dull needle 120 is cut obliquely at the tubular end as shown in FIG. And has a rounded end.

By the way, in the above-described buttonhole puncture method, as shown in FIG. 12, the puncture hole 101a on the surface of the blood vessel 101 opened at the time of the first puncture is U-shaped, and the puncture hole 101a is next punctured. A puncture starting point portion 104 is formed as a starting point. In the second and subsequent punctures, the puncture hole 101a is appropriately opened and the dull needle 120 can be inserted into the blood vessel 101 by aligning and pressing the tip of the dull needle 120 to the puncture starting point 104. The operation of aligning the tip of the dull needle 120 with the puncture starting point 104 is performed by the operator searching the puncture starting point 104 with the tip of the dull needle 120 depending on the sense of the fingertip.

However, in the above-described dull needle 120, the feel of the blood vessel is not easily transmitted to the fingertip, and the exploration property is not sufficient. For this reason, for example, it takes time to reinsert the dull needle 120 into the puncture route 102 and find the puncture start point 104 of the blood vessel, which takes time. Also, if the blood vessel puncture starting point 104 is not well searched, it is necessary to apply a greater force during puncture, which may damage the blood vessel or cause pain to the patient, for example. To puncture a blood vessel with a small force without taking time, experience and skill are required.

The present invention has been made in view of such a point, and an object thereof is to improve the probeability of a needle with respect to a puncture starting point when puncturing a blood vessel through a puncture route.

The present invention that achieves the above object is a needle that is inserted into a puncture route leading from a skin to a subcutaneous blood vessel and pierced into a blood vessel, and has a tubular portion having a flat inclined end surface that is inclined with respect to the axis of the needle; A protruding portion protruding forward from the tip of the inclined end surface of the tubular portion, the inner wall surface of the protruding portion is continuous with the inner wall surface of the tubular portion, and the outer wall surface of the protruding portion is the It is continuous with the outer wall surface of the tubular part, and the tip of the protruding part is smaller in width than the tubular part and is curved convexly forward.

According to the present invention, the protruding portion has a protruding portion that protrudes forward from the tip of the inclined end surface of the tubular portion, and the tip has a width smaller than that of the tubular portion. The searchability of the needle to the part can be improved. Therefore, the work of puncturing a blood vessel can be performed easily and in a short time. Moreover, since the front-end | tip of a protrusion part is curving convexly ahead, it can prevent damaging a blood vessel with a front-end | tip of a protrusion part, or giving a pain to a patient.

The radius of curvature of the tip of the protruding portion may be smaller than the radius of curvature of the tip of the inclined end surface. In this case, the feel of the blood vessel due to the tip of the protruding portion is more easily transmitted to the fingertip, and the probeability of the needle with respect to the puncture starting point of the blood vessel can be further improved.

The inclination angle of the inclined end surface with respect to the protruding direction of the protruding portion may be less than 60 degrees. In this case, the resistance of the needle when puncturing is reduced, so that the needle can be punctured with a smaller force.

According to the present invention, when inserting a needle into a puncture route and puncturing a blood vessel, it is possible to easily find a puncture start point on the surface of the blood vessel with the needle. Therefore, the puncturing operation can be performed easily and in a short time. Further, it is possible to prevent blood vessels from being damaged by the needle and pain to the patient. In addition, work can be performed appropriately regardless of experience and skill.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is an explanatory view showing an example of a blood purification treatment instrument 2 having a dull needle 1 as a needle according to the present embodiment.

The blood purification treatment instrument 2 includes, for example, a dull needle 1 that is punctured by a patient at the time of blood purification treatment, a tube 10 to which the dull needle 1 is connected to a distal end portion, and a rear end portion of the tube 10 for connecting to another tube. A connection part 11 is provided. A holding portion 12 that is held by an operator when the dull needle 1 is moved is provided in a portion near the dull needle 1 of the tube 10. A clamp 13 is attached to the tube 10. A cap 14 is fitted to the connection portion 11.

The blood purification treatment instrument 2 is connected to another tube by, for example, the connecting portion 11 and constitutes a part of a blood purification circuit having a blood purifier (not shown). The blood purification treatment instrument 2 is attached to a blood collection side end section and a blood return end section of the blood purification circuit, and blood collection and blood return are performed through the dull needle 1 during the blood purification process. The blood purification processing includes, for example, dialysis processing, plasma exchange processing, plasma adsorption processing, blood component removal processing, and the like.

As shown in FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, the dull needle 1 includes a tubular portion 20 having an inclined end surface 20a inclined with respect to the axis A of the needle at the distal end, and a front side from the distal end 20b of the inclined end surface 20a of the tubular portion 20. It has the protrusion part 21 which protruded. The protrusion 21 is formed to have a smaller width (length in the left-right direction perpendicular to the axis A) than the tubular portion 20. The protruding portion 21 is curved in the shape of an arc in the width direction with the same thickness as the tubular portion 20 and the same radius of curvature as that of the transverse section (cross section perpendicular to the axial direction) of the tubular portion 20. The inner wall surface of the protruding portion 21 is continuous with the inner wall surface of the tubular portion 20, and the outer wall surface of the protruding portion 21 is continuous with the outer wall surface of the tubular portion 20.

The tip 21a of the protrusion 21 is convexly curved forward. The radius of curvature in the axial direction of the tip 21a of the protruding portion 21 is set smaller than the radius of curvature of the tip 20b (dotted line portion shown in FIG. 3) of the inclined end surface 20a, for example. As shown in FIG. 4, the inclination angle B of the inclined end surface 20a with respect to the protruding direction (direction of the needle axis A) of the protruding portion 21 is set to be less than 60 degrees. Thereby, the angle (same as the inclination angle B) formed by the inclined end face 20a and the end side of the protruding portion 21 connected to the inclined end face 20a is less than 60 degrees.

The outer diameter of the tubular portion 20 of the dull needle 1 is preferably about 0.4 mm to 2.5 mm. In this case, the width in the left-right direction of the protruding portion 21 is preferably about 0.02 mm to 2.50 mm. Further, the length of the protrusion 21 in the direction of the axis A of the needle is preferably about 2.5 mm to 5.00 mm. The material of the dull needle 1 may be a metal needle such as stainless steel or a plastic needle. For plastic needles, polytetrafluoroethylene, ABS resin (acrylonitrile / butadiene / styrene), polycarbonate, polypropylene, polyethylene and the like are preferably used.

Next, the operation of puncturing a blood vessel using the dull needle 1 configured as described above will be described. Prior to the work, the first puncture with a normal needle has already been performed, and a puncture route 102 that leads from the skin 100 to the blood vessel 101 is formed in the patient's shunt as shown in FIG. The blood purification treatment instrument 2 having the dull needle 1 is taken out of the sterile bag and connected to the blood purification circuit.

First, as shown in FIG. 5, the crust 103 of the puncture route 102 is removed by the dull needle 1 or the like, and a puncture hole 102a is opened in the skin 100. Next, the dull needle 1 is inserted into the puncture route 102 from the puncture hole 102a. When the dull needle 1 is inserted, the protruding portion 21 reaches the puncture hole 101a where the surface of the blood vessel 101 is closed as shown in FIG. Therefore, while the protruding portion 21 of the dull needle 1 is pressed against the puncture hole 101a, the puncture starting point portion 104 of the U-shaped puncture hole 101a as shown in FIG. When the tip 21a of the protrusion 21 is aligned with the puncture starting point 104, the puncture hole 101a is opened from the puncture starting point 104 as shown in FIG. 7, and the dull needle 1 is punctured into the blood vessel 101. Thereafter, blood is collected and returned from the dull needle 1, and a blood purification process is performed using a blood purification circuit.

According to the above embodiment, since the protrusion part 21 with a small width is formed at the tip 20b of the inclined end surface 20a of the dull needle 1, the protrusion 21 makes it easy to transmit the touch of the blood vessel 101 to the finger, and the puncture starting point The probeability of the needle with respect to the portion 104 can be improved. Therefore, the operation of puncturing the blood vessel 101 can be performed easily and in a short time. Further, since the tip 21a of the protrusion 21 is convexly curved forward, it is possible to prevent the blood vessel 101 from being damaged or painful to the patient by the tip 21a of the protrusion 21.

In the above embodiment, the radius of curvature in the axial direction of the tip 21a of the protruding portion 21 is smaller than the radius of curvature in the axial direction of the tip 20b of the inclined end surface 20a. Can be more easily transmitted to the fingertip, and the probeability of the needle with respect to the puncture starting point 104 can be further improved.

Further, since the inclination angle B of the inclined end surface 20a with respect to the protruding direction of the protruding portion 21 is less than 60 degrees, the resistance of the dull needle 1 when puncturing is reduced, and the dull needle 1 can be punctured into the blood vessel 101 with a smaller force. .

The preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described above with reference to the accompanying drawings, but the present invention is not limited to such examples. It is obvious for those skilled in the art that various modifications or modifications can be conceived within the scope of the idea described in the claims, and these naturally belong to the technical scope of the present invention. It is understood.

For example, the shape of the protrusion 21 of the dull needle 1 is not limited to that described in the above embodiment, and may have another shape. For example, the protruding portion 21 may have a shape such that only the width of the tip 21a is smaller than the other portions. Moreover, in the said embodiment, although the curvature radius in the axial direction of the front-end | tip 21a of the protrusion part 21 was smaller than the curvature radius in the axial direction of the front-end | tip 20b of the inclination end surface 20a, the relationship may be reverse. . The inclined end surface 20a may be such that a step 20d is formed in the middle as shown in FIG. In addition, when it becomes the inclination end surface 20a from which an inclination angle differs before and behind the level | step difference 20d, the angle of the largest inclination is made into the inclination angle B. FIG. Moreover, in the said embodiment, although the dull needle 1 was used at the time of blood purification processing, what is necessary is just to be used by what is called a buttonhole puncture method. For example, the present invention can be applied to a dull needle that is used when a drug solution is administered by a syringe or when blood is collected.

Below, the result of the performance evaluation experiment of the dull needle 1 described in the said embodiment is shown. Evaluation experiment 1 is an experiment for evaluating the puncture performance using the dull needle 1. Evaluation experiment 2 is an experiment for evaluating the puncture resistance using the dull needle 1.

(Evaluation Experiment 1)
In the evaluation experiment 1, the subjects to be punctured were 20 end-stage renal failure hemodialysis patients who had undergone hemodialysis three times a week after dialysis was introduced for 3 years or more. Puncture was performed on the second dialysis day of each patient using the dull needle 1 according to the present invention shown in FIG. 2 or the conventional dull needle 120 shown in FIG. The time was measured from when the dull needle was inserted into the puncture route 102 until the dull needle was punctured into the blood vessel 101. These puncture times are shown in Table 1 below.

The dull needle 1 according to the present invention has a shorter puncture time than the conventional dull needle 120.

(Evaluation Experiment 2)
Evaluation experiment 2 uses a load measuring instrument (MODEL-1605N: manufactured by Aiko Engineering Co., Ltd.), and punctures each sample after puncturing with a 17G needle against silicon rubber (SR-50; manufactured by Tiger Polymer Co., Ltd.) having a thickness of 1.05 mm and 40 mmΦ. A dull needle was pierced and the required load at that time was measured. As experimental conditions, the piercing speed was 50 mm / min at a room temperature of 26 ° C. The results of this evaluation experiment 2 are shown in Table 2. The maximum required load in Table 2 is the maximum load required when each sample is pierced, and the contact required load is when the contact between the protruding portion 21 and the inclined end surface 20a is pierced with silicon rubber. This is the required load.

In the samples of Examples 1, 2, 3, 4 and Comparative Example 1, the contact angle (inclination angle) B between the protrusion 21 and the inclined end surface 20a is 12.0 degrees, 11.7 degrees, 25.1 degrees, It is a 28.4 degree, 65.0 degree dull needle. The sample of Comparative Example 2 is a dull needle that does not have the protruding portion 21 shown in FIG.

The maximum required loads of Examples 1 to 4 having a contact angle B of less than 60 degrees are significantly smaller than those of Comparative Examples 1 and 2. Moreover, the contact required load of Examples 1-4 is 100 mN or less, and is remarkably small with respect to Comparative Example 1. Therefore, by making the contact angle B less than 60 degrees, the piercing resistance is remarkably lowered, and puncture can be performed smoothly.

The present invention is useful for improving the probeability of a needle with respect to a puncture starting point of a blood vessel when puncturing a blood vessel through a puncture route.
