Description

The present invention relates to a method of sealing the periphery of a base with a sealing material in a high-pressure gas container filled with, for example, high-pressure hydrogen gas, high-pressure nitrogen gas, or the like.

Conventionally, the container body of the high-pressure gas container has been made of many synthetic resins from the viewpoint of weight reduction and the like, and an opening for taking out the high-pressure gas in the container is provided at the end of the container body. Further, a metal base is attached to the opening for reinforcement. From the viewpoint of preventing leakage of high-pressure gas, a sealing material is applied between the container body and the base, thereby closing a gap between the opening of the container body and the base (Patent Document 1). , 2).

However, when a sealing material is applied between the container body and the base, the outline of the coating layer of the sealing material is difficult to be clarified, which is a problem in appearance.

As a means for solving the above-mentioned conventional problems, the present invention provides a high-pressure gas container in which a base is attached to an opening at an end of a synthetic resin high-pressure gas container body. The surface of the base and the surface of the high-pressure gas container body outside the outer periphery of the base are covered with an inner masking material that is a synthetic resin molded product and an outer masking material, and the inner masking material and Sealing between the outer peripheral edge of the base and the high-pressure gas container body by applying a sealing material in the gap between the outer masking material, and then the inner masking material and the outer masking material. The present invention provides a method for sealing a base of a high-pressure gas container characterized by being removed.

[Action and effect]
In the base 3 attached to the opening 2 at the end of the high-pressure gas container body 1, the high-pressure gas container is located on the inner side of the outer periphery of the base 3 and on the surface of the base 3 and on the outer side of the outer periphery of the base 3. An inner masking material 4 and an outer masking material 5 are attached to the surface of the main body 1. The inner and outer masking materials 4 and 5 are simply manufactured from a synthetic resin sheet by, for example, vacuum and / or pressure molding, press molding, injection molding, or the like.
When the inner masking material 4 and the outer masking material 5 are attached to the inner side and the outer side of the outer peripheral edge of the base 3, the sealing material 7 is applied to the gap 6 between the inner masking material 4 and the outer masking material 5. The sealing material 7 includes the high-pressure gas greatly deviated from the inner peripheral edge serving as the peripheral edge of the opening 2 and the outer peripheral edge of the base 3 of the base 3 covered with the inner and outer masking materials 4 and 5. It is not applied to the surface of the container body 1 or the like.
After applying the sealing material 7, the inner and outer masking materials 4, 5 are removed. Then, the inner and outer contours of the coating layer 7A of the sealing material 7 are clarified by being cut off by the inner and outer masking materials 4 and 5.
Therefore, in the present invention, the outline of the coating layer 7A of the sealing material 7 around the base 3 becomes clear and a preferable appearance is obtained.

One embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIGS.
FIG. 1 shows a high-pressure gas container body 1. A base 3 is attached to the opening 2 provided at the end of the high-pressure gas container body 1.
The high-pressure gas container body 1 is made of a thermoplastic resin such as polypropylene, polyester, polyamide, or polyvinyl chloride, for example, and the base 3 is made of a metal such as aluminum or stainless steel, for example.

FIG. 2 shows an inner masking material 4 and an outer masking material 5. The inner masking material 4 and the outer masking material 5 are made of, for example, a thermoplastic resin such as polypropylene, polyester, polyamide, polyphenylene oxide, and the like by a known molding method such as vacuum and / or pressure molding, press molding, injection molding, and the like. The base 3 and the shape of the end of the high-pressure gas container main body 1 at the periphery to which the base 3 is attached are formed. Specifically, the inner masking material 4 is formed in a substantially funnel shape in accordance with the surface shape of the base 3 around the opening 2, and the outer masking material 5 is formed at the end of the high-pressure gas container body 1. It is formed in an annular cylindrical shape according to the surface shape.

As shown in FIG. 3, the inner and outer masking materials 4, 5 are located on the inner side (on the opening 2 side and the end side of the high-pressure gas container body 1) and on the outer side (high pressure). And an intermediate portion side) of the gas container body 1. The inner and outer masking materials 4 and 5 are fixed to the base 3 and the high-pressure gas container body 1 by, for example, a double-sided adhesive tape, a clip, a tucker or the like.
A gap 6 is formed between the inner masking material 4 and the outer masking material 5 in a state where the inner and outer masking materials 4 and 5 are fixed to the high-pressure gas container body 1. In the gap 6, the outer peripheral portion of the base 3 and the end surface of the high-pressure gas container main body 1 protrude from the outer peripheral edge of the base 3 as a boundary.
In addition, the outer peripheral edge of the base 3 has a gear shape as a whole in this embodiment, and when a sealing material is applied to the outer peripheral part of such a shape, the outer peripheral part of the base 3 protrudes greatly from the outer peripheral part. The coating is interrupted and the inner and outer circumferences of the coating layer made of the sealing material tend to be unclear. Further, since the gear-shaped outer peripheral edge forms a complicated step between the outer peripheral surface of the base 3 and the surface of the high-pressure gas container main body 1, the inner and outer periphery of the coating layer is not satisfactory. Not only becomes clear, the thickness of the coating layer tends to be non-uniform.

As shown in FIG. 4, a sealing material 7 is applied to the gap 6 between the inner masking material 4 and the outer masking material 5. As the sealing material 7, a normal sealing material such as urethane, polysulfide, or silicon is used.
After the sealing material 7 is applied, if necessary, the sealing material 7 is heated and dried or cured, and then the inner masking material 4 and the outer masking material 5 are removed. As shown in FIG. A coating layer 7 </ b> A of the sealing material 7 is formed from the outer peripheral portion on the surface of 3 to the surface portion of the high-pressure gas container main body 1 closest to the outer peripheral edge of the base 3.

Since the inner and outer peripheries of the coating layer 7A of the sealing material 7 are cut off by the inner and outer masking materials 4 and 5 (see FIGS. 6A and 6B), the outline is clear and the appearance is preferable. Is.
In the sealing method of the present invention, the thickness of the inner masking material 4 and the thickness of the outer masking material 5 are determined on the outer surface of the high-pressure gas container body 1 in consideration of the thickness of the base 3. By adjusting the thickness, the thickness of the coating layer 7A can be made substantially uniform.
As shown in FIG. 6 (a), the thickness of the outer masking material 5 is made larger than the thickness of the inner masking material 4, whereby the coating including the thickness of the die 3 is formed on both sides of the coating layer 7A. The thickness h1 of the layer 7A and the thickness h2 of the coating layer 7A from the outer surface of the high-pressure gas container body 1 are equal, and the thickness of the coating layer 7A becomes substantially uniform.
As shown in FIG. 6B, by making the thickness of the outer masking material 5 equal to the thickness of the inner masking material 4, the thickness h1 of the coating layer 7A and the coating on both sides of the coating layer 7A. The thickness h2 of the layer 7A becomes equal, and the thickness of the coating layer 7A becomes substantially uniform.
As described above, either the case where the thickness of the outer masking material 5 is thicker than the thickness of the inner masking material 4 or the case where the thickness of the outer masking material 5 is equal to the thickness of the inner masking material 4. Even in this case, the thickness for applying the sealing material 7 is based on the thicknesses of the inner masking material 4 and the outer masking material 5, that is, on the surfaces of the inner masking material 4 and the outer masking material 5. It is sufficient that the sealing material 7 protrudes slightly, so that the coating operation of the sealing material 7 can be simplified, and variation in the thickness of the coating layer 7A can be suppressed to achieve uniform product quality.

Although the embodiment of the present invention has been illustrated with respect to one having an opening at only one end of the high-pressure gas container body, in the present invention, the container body may have openings at both ends.

According to the method for sealing a base of a high-pressure gas container of the present invention, the inner and outer circumferences of the coating layer of the sealing material have a clear outline and are preferable in appearance, and thus can be used industrially.
