Abstract

4There is provided a lubricant application device capable of stably applying a lubricant even when a large positional variation occurs in the width direction of a paper-like member. A slide bar 60 of a lubricant application device 90 according to the present invention slides and moves in the width direction of the paper-like member 10 by the position variation of the paper-like member 10. At this time, since the slide bar 60 slides while maintaining the interval of the lubricant applicator 80, the left and right lubricant applicators 80 move while maintaining contact with both side surfaces 11 of the paper-like member 10. As a result, the lubricant application device 90 can always stably apply the lubricant to both side surfaces 11 of the paper-like member 10 even if a large positional variation occurs in the width direction of the paper-like member 10. Description

The present invention relates to a lubricant application device for applying a lubricant to a side surface of a paper-like member provided with an adhesive layer.

Seals and labels that are printed on the front surface and have an adhesive layer on the back surface are widely used in various products and applications. The general paper-like member 10 used for these seals and labels is mainly composed of a surface base material 10a, an adhesive layer 10b, and a separator 10c, as shown in a partially enlarged view surrounded by a circle in FIG. . The surface base material 10a is paper or a synthetic resin film on which printing or the like is performed, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 10b is bonded to the back surface. The separator 10c is a paper or synthetic resin film that has been subjected to a release treatment on one surface side, and the surface base material 10a is temporarily adhered to the release treatment surface by the adhesive layer 10b. Then, the surface base material 10a on which the printed matter is formed is peeled off from the separator 10c together with the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 10b, and the surface base material 10a is adhered to the article by adhering to the article intended for the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 10b.

Processing such as printing on the paper-like member 10 is often carried out continuously by unrolling the roll-like paper-like member 10 (raw roll) while being unrolled. Such a processing device for the paper-like member 10 has a guide portion for positioning the paper-like member 10 and a paper feeding means for conveying the paper-like member 10. However, since the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 10 b is exposed on the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10, the pressure-sensitive adhesive of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 10 b adheres to the guide portion that contacts the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10. It gradually accumulates with the conveyance of 10. The accumulation of the pressure-sensitive adhesive hinders smooth conveyance of the paper-like member 10 and also adversely affects processing such as printing on the paper-like member 10.

Conventionally, spraying silicon spray or spraying baby powder has been used as a technique for preventing adhesion of these adhesives. However, in addition to insufficient adhesion prevention effects by these methods, there are many practical problems such as health damage caused by the operator's suction and occurrence of defects due to adhesion to the equipment side. For this reason, it is common that removal of the adhesive which adhered is performed by an operator's cleaning, and this cleaning operation became a big factor which reduces the operation rate of a processing apparatus.

In order to solve this problem, the inventor of the present application has invented a lubricant supply tool and a supply method described in [Patent Document 1] below. In the invention described in [Patent Document 1], the lubricant is directly applied to both side surfaces 11 of the paper-like member 10 to prevent the adhesive from adhering to the guide portion or the like. As a result, the paper-like member 10 can be continuously processed without frequently cleaning the guide portion and the like.

However, the paper-like member 10 sent to the lubricant supply device is subject to positional fluctuations such as fluttering and deviation that differ depending on the production lot, dry state, humidity, weather conditions, and the like. However, in the lubricant supply device described in [Patent Document 1], since the lubricant is applied with a relatively small-diameter circular felt, the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10 is large when the position variation of the paper-like member 10 is large. However, there is a problem that the lubricant cannot be applied due to dropping off from the application surface of the circular felt. In addition, since the amount of lubricant applied depends on the contact area between the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10 and the coated surface, the amount of lubricant applied by the lubricant supply tool described in [Patent Document 1] varies depending on the position variation. There is a problem of being influenced.

In order to solve this problem, the present inventor has invented a lubricant supply tool and a supply method described in Japanese Patent Application No. 2013-059495. In the invention described in Japanese Patent Application No. 2013-059495, the lubricant is applied to the paper-like member 10 on the peripheral surface of the substantially cylindrical capillary fiber bundle, and the capillary fiber bundle is subject to the position variation of the paper-like member 10. Follow and move three-dimensionally. Thereby, even if position fluctuations such as fluttering, displacement, and twisting occur in the paper-like member 10, it is possible to always apply the lubricant stably.

Japanese Patent No. 4891447

However, depending on the winding state and the storage state at the time of manufacture, the paper-like member 10 is separated from the core 13a as shown in the schematic cross-sectional view of the roll-like raw material 13 in FIG. There is a case where the winding is gradually shifted, or the winding is meandering. And the amount L of the winding deviation of this roll original fabric 13 may become 3 mm or more sometimes. The invention described in Japanese Patent Application No. 2013-059495 may not be able to cope with such large positional fluctuations, and further improvement is desired in this respect.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and provides a lubricant application device capable of stably applying a lubricant even when a large positional variation occurs in the width direction of a paper-like member. In the lubricant application device according to the present invention, the lubricant applicator moves while maintaining the interval corresponding to the positional variation in the width direction of the paper-like member. For this reason, even if a large position variation occurs in the width direction of the paper-like member, the lubricant can always be stably applied to both side surfaces of the paper-like member.

An embodiment of a lubricant application device according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. First, the configuration of the lubricant applicator 80 used in the lubricant applicator 90 according to the present invention will be described. Here, FIG. 1 is a view showing a lubricant applicator 80 according to the present invention. FIG. 2A is a side view of the lubricant applicator 80. Moreover, FIG.2 (b) is XX sectional drawing of Fig.2 (a).

A lubricant applicator 80 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 applies a lubricant to a side surface 11 of a paper-like member 10 having a surface base material 10a and an adhesive layer 10b, and a capillary fiber bundle 30; Supply unit 40 that supplies a lubricant to the capillary fiber bundle 30, a head unit 50 that is sandwiched so that the peripheral surface of the capillary fiber bundle 30 is exposed, and a holder unit that holds the head unit 50 in a three-dimensionally movable state. 52, and an elastic member 54 installed between the holder portion 52 and the head portion 50. The lubricant used here is a liquid that prevents the adhesive from adhering to other members and reduces frictional resistance.

The capillary fiber bundle 30 is formed by forming fine fibers into a substantially columnar shape, and the fine fibers themselves or the gaps between the fine fibers have a water absorption function by capillary action. The material used for the capillary fiber bundle 30 may be any material such as synthetic resin fiber or natural fiber. In addition, the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10 moves while contacting the circumferential surface of the capillary fiber bundle 30 in a substantially orthogonal direction. For this reason, the fine fibers are aligned substantially in the axial direction (longitudinal direction) of the cylinder so that fuzz and the like do not stand up as much as possible on the peripheral surface of the capillary fiber bundle 30, and are solidified with resin or the like to such an extent that the water absorbing function is not impaired It is preferable to give hardness. In addition, a flat surface portion may be formed by partially cutting away the peripheral surface of the capillary fiber bundle 30, and the flat surface portion and the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10 may be brought into contact with each other.

The supply unit 40 that supplies the lubricant to the capillary fiber bundle 30 has one end in contact with the infiltrating body 42 installed in the head unit 50 and the other end immersed in the lubricant stored in the lubricant tank 12. . Then, the supply unit 40 absorbs the lubricant in the lubricant tank 12 by its own capillary phenomenon and supplies it to the capillary fiber bundle 30 via the infiltrating body 42. The supply unit 40 may have any shape such as a string shape, a cloth shape, or a belt shape as long as it has an appropriate water absorption function due to a capillary phenomenon. Moreover, any material such as synthetic resin fiber and natural fiber may be used in the same manner as the capillary fiber bundle 30. As a member suitable for this supply part 40, the cotton string currently distribute | circulated cheaply is mentioned. The supply unit 40 is preferably passed through the tube 44 to prevent the lubricant from adhering to an operator or the like, and the supply unit 40 from being contaminated.

The infiltrating body 42 transmits the lubricant from the supply unit 40 side to the capillary fiber bundle 30 side, and any material such as felt or sponge may be used as long as the lubricant infiltrates. The infiltrating body 42 is particularly effective when a lubricant is transmitted from a single supply unit 40 to the plurality of capillary fiber bundles 30, but the capillary fiber bundle 30 directly from the supply unit 40 without using the infiltrating body 42. You may make it transmit a lubricant to. Further, one end of the capillary fiber bundle 30 may be immersed in a lubricant so that a part of the capillary fiber bundle 30 also serves as the supply unit 40.

The head portion 50 is sandwiched and held so that the peripheral surface of the capillary fiber bundle 30 is exposed, and is preferably substantially U-shaped or substantially U-shaped to hold the vicinity of both ends of the capillary fiber bundle 30. The head portion 50 does not need to expose the peripheral surface of the capillary fiber bundle 30 over the entire periphery, and it is sufficient that at least the contact surface side with the paper-like member 10 is exposed. Therefore, the capillary fiber bundle 30 is also held from the circumferential surface side by bringing the circumferential surface opposite to the contact surface of the capillary fiber bundle 30 into contact with the bottom surface of the concave portion of the head portion 50, and the capillary fiber accompanying the contact with the paper-like member 10. The bending of the bundle 30 may be prevented. Furthermore, a groove having the same dimensions as the peripheral surface of the capillary fiber bundle 30 is formed on the bottom surface of the concave portion of the head portion 50, and the capillary fiber bundle 30 is partially inserted and held in the groove, thereby further bending the capillary fiber bundle 30. You may make it prevent.

In addition, it is preferable to install a plurality of capillary fiber bundles 30 side by side on the head unit 50. According to this configuration, since the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10 and the capillary fiber bundle 30 are in contact at two or more points, the head unit 50 is maintained substantially parallel to the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10. As a result, the head unit 50 can accurately move following the position variation of the paper-like member 10.

Moreover, the lubricant applicator 80 according to the present invention adjusts the amount of lubricant applied to the paper-like member 10 by increasing or decreasing the number of capillary fiber bundles 30 installed in the head unit 50. The increase or decrease of the capillary fiber bundle 30 may be performed by preparing a plurality of head parts 50 having different numbers of installed capillary fiber bundles 30 and appropriately replacing them. For example, the capillary fiber bundle 30 can be opened and closed. It is possible to increase or decrease the number.

The holder portion 52 holds the head portion 50 in a three-dimensionally movable state, and has, for example, a substantially U-shape. Then, for example, shaft holes 58 are formed in both side walls of the holder portion 52, and holding shafts 56 formed on both side surfaces of the head portion 50 are inserted into the shaft holes 58 to hold the head portion 50. At this time, the size of the shaft hole 58 is made sufficiently larger than the holding shaft 56, and the head portion 50 is within the movable range of the holding shaft 56 by making the holding shaft 56 long enough not to fall off the holder portion 52. It can move freely vertically and horizontally. Further, the head swings freely within the movable range of the holding shaft 56.

An elastic member 54 that urges the peripheral surface of the capillary fiber bundle 30 toward the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10 is installed between the holder portion 52 and the head portion 50. The elastic member 54 is not particularly limited, and a known elastic member such as a leaf spring or a coil spring can be used. Then, the elastic member 54 urges the capillary fiber bundle 30 to the paper-like member 10 side via the head part 50, so that the head part 50 moves three-dimensionally so as to follow the positional fluctuation of the paper-like member 10. The contact state between the peripheral surface of the capillary fiber bundle 30 and the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10 is stably maintained.

The moving mechanism of the head unit 50 by the holding shaft 56, the shaft hole 58, and the elastic member 54 is an example, and is not particularly limited thereto.

Next, a characteristic configuration of the lubricant application device 90 according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The lubricant application device 90 according to the present invention includes a slide bar 60 that holds the lubricant applicator 80 so as to face each other at a predetermined interval, and the slide bar 60 in the width direction of the paper-like member 10. And a guide member 70 that is slidably supported. The guide member 70 of the lubricant application device 90 is not particularly limited, and any member may be used as long as the slide bar 60 can be slidably held. However, it is preferable that the frictional resistance between the guide member 70 and the slide bar 60 is as small as possible. In this example, a slide rail is used as the guide member 70, and the holding arms at both ends of the slide bar 60 are slidably held.

Further, the interval between the two lubricant applicators 80 facing each other can be adjusted according to the width dimension of the paper-like member 10. Therefore, the lubricant applicator 80 is preferably installed via a stay 62 that can be adjusted and fixed with respect to the slide bar 60. Thereby, the slide bar 60 slides in the width direction of the paper-like member 10 along the guide member 70 while maintaining the interval between the two lubricant applicators 80 facing each other.

Next, the configuration and operation of the lubricant application device 90 provided with the lubricant applicator 80 will be described with reference to FIGS. 3, 4, and 5. Although FIG. 5 shows an example in which the lubricant application device 90 is applied to a printing press, the present application is not limited to this, and any device equipped with a paper feeding means, such as a cutting machine, a slitter machine, or a punching machine. It can also be applied to on-demand printers and other office equipment. In this example, an example in which the lubricant is applied to the paper-like member 10 provided with the separator 10c has been described. However, the present invention can also be applied to the paper-like member 10 that does not include the separator 10c. . For example, in a seal printing machine of a type in which an adhesive is applied in an apparatus and the adhesive layer 10b is formed on the surface base material 10a, a lubricant is applied to the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10 after the adhesive layer 10b is formed. Apply. In manufacturing equipment such as an adhesive tape, the lubricant is applied after the adhesive layer 10b is formed on the tape (corresponding to the surface base material 10a). In addition, in a device for attaching a protective film (without separator 10c) or the like provided with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 10b to a printed matter or other articles, a lubricant is applied after the roll-shaped protective film (paper-like member 10) is rolled up. .

Then, the lubricant application device 90 according to the present invention provides a paper between the left and right lubricant applicators 80 on the upper side of the apparatus 100 provided with a paper feeding means such as a conveyance roller 20 for conveying the paper-like member 10. It installs so that the shaped member 10 may pass. At this time, by fixing the guide member 70 side to the device 100, the slide bar 60 freely slides within a predetermined range in the lateral direction of the device 100 (width direction of the paper-like member 10). The direction of the lubricant applicator 80 is a direction in which the axis of the cylinder of the capillary fiber bundle 30 is substantially orthogonal to the feeding direction of the paper-like member 10.

On the other hand, the roll material 13 is rotatably installed in the device 100. Then, one end of the roll 13 is unrolled and communicated with the device 100 in a strip shape. Note that a guide unit (not shown) is installed in the device 100 to prevent the positional deviation of the paper-like member 10 in the device 100.

Next, the installation interval of the lubricant applicator 80 is adjusted to correspond to the width of the paper-like member 10. As an example of this adjustment method, first, the screw 64 of the stay 62 fixing the lubricant applicator 80 is loosened, and the peripheral surfaces of the capillary fiber bundles 30 of the left and right lubricant applicators 80 are on both side surfaces of the paper-like member 10. 11 is moved so as to abut. Then, the screw 64 is tightened at that position, and both lubricant applicators 80 are fixed to the slide bar 60. At this time, a lock mechanism 72 that temporarily restricts the movement of the slide bar 60 may be provided on the guide member 70 side, and the position adjustment of the lubricant applicator 80 may be performed with the slide bar 60 fixed. In this configuration, since the slide bar 60 does not move when the position of the lubricant applicator 80 is adjusted, the position of the lubricant applicator 80 can be easily adjusted. The lock mechanism 72 of the slide bar 60 is not particularly limited, and any mechanism may be used as long as the slide bar 60 is fixed. FIG. 4 shows an example in which the slide bar 60 is fixed by engaging the hole of the receiving plate 72 a installed on the slide bar 60 side with the lock mechanism 72 installed on the upper surface of the guide member 70. 4 shows a state in which the slide bar 60 is locked, and this locked state is released when the lubricant application device 90 is operated.

Before and after the interval adjustment of the lubricant applicator 80, the supply unit 40 absorbs the lubricant stored in the lubricant tank 12 by capillary action and supplies it to the capillary fiber bundle 30. Thereby, the lubricant is infiltrated into the capillary fiber bundle 30.

At this time, the supply amount of the lubricant to the lubricant applicator 80 may be adjusted by adjusting the installation position of the lubricant tank 12 in the vertical direction. In addition, if the installation position of the lubricant tank 12 is raised, the relative position of the lubricant applicator 80 with respect to the liquid surface of the lubricant is lowered, and the speed at which the lubricant passes through the supply unit 40 by the action of gravity is improved. The amount of lubricant supplied increases. On the other hand, if the installation position of the lubricant tank 12 is lowered, the relative position of the lubricant applicator 80 with respect to the liquid surface of the lubricant increases, and the speed of the lubricant decreases because the lubricant passes through the supply unit 40 against gravity. As a result, the amount of lubricant supplied decreases.

There is no particular limitation on the mechanism for adjusting the installation position of the lubricant tank 12, and any mechanism may be used. For example, a lubricant tank base provided with a plurality of mounting tables having different heights may be provided, and the supply amount may be adjusted by mounting the lubricant tank 12 on a mounting table having an appropriate height each time. As shown in FIG. 4, the mounting table 76 of the lubricant tank 12 may be fixed to a tank column 78 that can be vertically adjusted.

Next, when the apparatus 100 is activated, the conveyance roller 20 as a paper feeding unit rotates. When the transport roller 20 rotates, the roll material 13 rotates correspondingly, and the paper-like member 10 is rolled up. The rolled paper-like member 10 passes between the lubricant applicators 80. At this time, both side surfaces 11 of the paper-like member 10 move in a direction substantially orthogonal to the axis of the capillary fiber bundle 30 while contacting the peripheral surface of the capillary fiber bundle 30 infiltrated with the lubricant. When a plurality of capillary fiber bundles 30 are installed, the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10 moves while continuously contacting the plurality of capillary fiber bundles 30. As a result, an appropriate amount of lubricant is applied to the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10.

When the lubricant is applied to the paper-like member 10, the supply unit 40 replenishes the capillary fiber bundle 30 with the lubricant accordingly. In addition, since the replenishment of the lubricant is performed by the capillary phenomenon of the supply unit 40, only the reduced amount of the lubricant due to the application is replenished and is not excessively supplied to the capillary fiber bundle 30. For this reason, for example, when the device 100 is stopped, the capillary fiber bundle 30 is not replenished with the lubricant. Therefore, dripping or the like due to excessive supply of the lubricant does not occur.

Further, when there is a winding deviation in the roll material 13, the paper-like member 10 is conveyed to the device 100 while being displaced in the width direction. Due to the positional variation of the paper-like member 10, one lubricant applicator 80 of the lubricant application device 90 is pressed by the one side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10. By this pressing, the slide bar 60 slides in the width direction of the paper-like member 10 by the amount of the position variation of the paper-like member 10 as shown in FIG.

Then, the paper-like member 10 to which the lubricant is applied by the lubricant application device 90 is positioned by a guide portion or the like, and then conveyed to various processing devices such as a printing device. At this time, the guide portion and the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10 are in contact with each other, but since the lubricant is applied to the side surface 11, the adhesive of the paper-like member 10 does not adhere to the guide portion side. Further, the adhesive of the paper-like member 10 does not adhere to other parts of the device 100.

Next, the paper-like member 10 is sent to, for example, a first printing device 2a as a processing device, and printing with the first color is performed on the surface base material 10a of the paper-like member 10. In general, printing is not performed on the edge of the surface base material 10a. For this reason, the lubricant applied to the side surface 11 of the paper-like member 10 does not adversely affect the printed matter of the surface base material 10a. The paper-like member 10 on which the first color printing has been performed is sent to the first drying device 4a, and the printed material is dried. When the printing apparatuses 2a, 2b, and 2c use ultraviolet curable ink, the drying apparatuses 4a, 4b, and 4c are UV irradiation drying apparatuses. When drying of the printed material by the drying device 4a is completed, the paper-like member 10 is sent to the second printing device 2b, and printing on the surface base material 10a with the second color is performed. Next, the paper-like member 10 is sent to the second drying device 4b, and the printed matter by the second color is dried. Next, the paper-like member 10 is sent to the third printing apparatus 2c, and printing with the third color is performed on the surface base material 10a. Next, the paper-like member 10 is sent to the third drying device 4c, and the printed matter by the third color is dried. As a result, a multicolored printed matter is formed on the surface base material 10 a of the paper-like member 10. Note that the processing of the paper-like member 10 by the device 100 is performed while repeating forward and backward movements as necessary.

The paper-like member 10 on which the printed matter is formed is then sent to, for example, an outer shape cutting device 6 as a processing device. The outer shape cutting device 6 cuts a predetermined shape into the surface base material 10a and the adhesive layer 10b around the printed matter applied to the paper-like member 10. At this time, the separator 10c is not cut. The cut paper-like member 10 is then sent to the peeling portion 7 where the unnecessary surface base material 10a and adhesive layer 10b on the outer periphery of the seal are peeled and removed. The unnecessary surface base material 10a and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 10b which have been peeled off are wound up by the recovery roller 24 and discarded. As a result, only the seal obtained by cutting the printed material into a predetermined shape remains on the separator 10c. Next, the paper-like member 10 is sent to the cutting machine 8 and cut into a predetermined length. Thereby, the seal is completed.

As described above, the lubricant applicator 90 according to the present invention can move in the width direction of the paper-like member 10 while the left and right lubricant applicators 80 maintain the distance therebetween. For this reason, the lubricant can be stably applied to the both side surfaces 11 of the paper-like member 10 even if a large positional variation occurs in the width direction of the paper-like member 10 due to the winding deviation of the roll 13.

When the paper-like member 10 is fluttered, twisted, or slightly misaligned, the head portion 50 of the lubricant applicator 80 moves three-dimensionally following the positional change of the paper-like member 10. Therefore, even in such a case, the lubricant application device 90 can always apply the lubricant to both side surfaces 11 of the paper-like member 10 stably.

The configuration of the lubricant application device 90 shown in this example is an example, and the shape and size of each member, the fixing mechanism of the lubricant applicator 80, the slide mechanism of the guide member 70, and the like are limited to those described above. It is not a thing. Furthermore, the present invention can be modified and implemented without departing from the scope of the present invention.
