Description

The present invention relates to a volatile body having a water-absorbing swellable resin and an aroma deodorizer equipped with the volatile body.

A fragrance designed to immerse one end of a rod-shaped sucking core in a fragrance deodorant or deodorant stored in a container and expose the other end to be exposed to the atmosphere to volatilize fragrance or deodorant Deodorizers have been used mainly indoors such as toilets and rooms (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Recently, there has been known an aroma deodorizer that arranges a volatilizing body on an upper portion of a sucking core material to increase the volatilization amount of the aroma deodorant liquid or deodorant liquid (see, for example, Patent Document 2).
JP 62-094169 A JP 2001-261080 A

Since fragrance deodorizers are often installed in places where human eyes can touch, the aesthetics due to their shape and the like are regarded as important. On the other hand, increasing the volatilization amount using a large volatilizer restricts the design of the shape and the like of the fragrance deodorizer. Therefore, if it is a volatilization body of the same magnitude | size, the direction with much volatilization can reduce the restrictions in design, such as a shape of an aroma deodorizer.

In addition, although the liquid in the container has run out, there is a case where the aromatic deodorant liquid remains in the volatilized body and can still be used. However, when the liquid is transparent or the color of the liquid and the color of the volatilized body are the same or similar, etc., it is still volatilized, but the user has judged that all the liquid has been volatilized by mistake, There are cases where use is discontinued.

The present inventor has found that the volatilization body including the swellable layer containing the water-absorbing swellable resin plays a role of an indicator that indicates that the volatilization amount is large and the liquid remains in the volatilization body due to swelling. . Further, a volatilized body comprising at least two layers including at least the swellable layer and a non-swellable layer containing an aromatic deodorant diffusible material, wherein the swellable layer is laminated above the non-swellable layer. The present inventors have also found that it is superior to the above-mentioned volatilization body in the uniformity of swelling and the large amount of volatilization. In the present invention, aroma deodorization means aroma and / or deodorization.

The volatilization body and the fragrance deodorizer of the present invention can increase the volatilization amount per unit volume, and can also serve as an indicator that indicates that the liquid remains in the volatilization body due to swelling.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an example of an aromatic deodorizer generally used conventionally. FIG. 2 shows a cross-sectional view of the fragrance deodorizer A shown in FIG. 1 along the line 2-2. The fragrance deodorizer A is a non-swellable for volatilizing the fragrance deodorant liquid container 1 containing the fragrance deodorant liquid, the suction core material 2, and the fragrance deodorant liquid sucked up by the suction core material 2. Volatilization body 3 (pulp nonwoven fabric etc.) and a cover (not shown) having volatilization holes are provided. The fragrance deodorant liquid container 1 includes a mouth portion 11, a lid body 12 is attached to the mouth portion 11, and a protruding mouth 13 of the sucking core material 2 is provided on the lid body 12. Moreover, the lid body 12 is provided with a flange 14 for installing the volatilization body 3, the flange 14 is attached to the outer periphery of the mouth 11 of the fragrance deodorizing container 1, and the volatilization body 3 is attached to the flange 14. The volatilized body 3 is in contact with the wicking core 2 on its lower surface. In the fragrance deodorizer A, a suction core material is arranged at the center of the lower surface of the volatilizer, and this arrangement is a preferable mode for uniform swelling, but the arrangement of the suction core material and the volatilizer is limited to this. Is not to be done.

FIG. 3A is a perspective view showing an example of the volatilized body before swelling according to the present invention, and FIG. 3B is a line segment 3b-3b of the volatilized body 4 shown in FIG. FIG. 3C is a partially enlarged view of the cross-sectional view. The volatilization body 4 can be used instead of the conventional volatilization body 3 shown in FIG. The volatilization body 4 is configured by laminating a swellable layer 41 and a non-swellable layer 42. The swellable layer 41 includes a water-absorbing swellable resin 411, a pulp nonwoven fabric 412 that holds the resin, and a nonwoven fabric 413 that covers them, and swells when absorbing water. The non-swellable layer 42 is composed of a nonwoven fabric made of an aromatic deodorant diffusible material 421. The swellable layer 41 and the non-swellable layer 42 are integrated by an adhesive, but the means for integration is not particularly limited.

In the fragrance deodorizer A shown in FIG. 1, when the volatile body 4 of the present invention is arranged instead of the volatile body 3, an example of the fragrance deodorizer of the present invention is obtained. In the fragrance deodorizer of the present invention, the fragrance deodorant liquid sucked up by the sucking core material 2 is first impregnated in the non-swellable layer 42 of the volatilizer 4 and diffuses into the layer 42, and eventually the To reach. When the aromatic deodorant liquid reaches the swellable layer 41, the water-absorbing swellable resin 411 swells. FIG. 4A is a perspective view showing a sufficiently swollen volatilization body 4, and FIG. 4B is a cross-sectional view taken along line 4b-4b of the volatilization body 4 shown in FIG. 4A. is there. When the volatilizer 4 is sufficiently swollen, the volatilization amount of the aromatic deodorant increases. In addition, in the volatilization body of the present invention, in addition to the swellable layer and the non-swellable layer, other layers may be provided to have a structure of three or more layers as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired. In this example, the non-swellable layer is a single layer, but two or more non-swellable layers can be used.

In the swellable layer 41, the portion that starts swelling first is usually the portion that is closest to the wicking core material 2, that is, the central portion, but swells substantially uniformly by sufficiently absorbing water. In order to increase the volatilization amount, it is preferable to swell completely and increase the surface area of the volatilization body 4. Also, some users may desire a uniformly swollen appearance. Accordingly, a volatilized body that swells uniformly is more preferable. However, even if the volatile body of the present invention is not uniformly swollen, it has a high volatility and a large amount of volatilization.

The height (thickness) before swelling of the swellable layer 41 is preferably 0.02 to 0.2 cm, and the height (thickness) after swelling is preferably 0.5 cm or more from the viewpoint of volatilization, handling in use, etc. Is preferably about 2 cm or less. Further, the degree of swelling of the swellable layer 41 is not particularly limited, but when the swellable layer sufficiently swells and swells, the layer thickness after swelling is 2 times the layer thickness before containing water. What becomes twice or more is preferable, and what becomes 3 times or more is more preferable. The water-absorbing swellable resin 411 may be any resin that can swell and volatilize in contact with an aromatic deodorant. For example, modified polyalkylene oxide, sodium polyacrylate, acrylic acid-vinyl alcohol copolymer, poly A sodium acrylate cross-linked product, starch-acrylic acid graft copolymer, isobutylene-maleic anhydride copolymer and saponified product thereof, polyaspartic acid resin and the like can be used alone or in combination of two or more. A preferred water-swellable resin is sodium polyacrylate and isobutylene-maleic anhydride copolymer. The shape of the water-absorbing swellable resin is not particularly limited, but is preferably a bead shape, a crushed shape, or a fiber shape. 20-80 weight% is preferable with respect to the weight of a swellable layer, as for the usage-amount of a water absorption swelling resin, 30-70 weight% is more preferable, and 40-60 weight% is more preferable. The average particle size of the water-absorbing swellable resin is preferably 0.1 to 5.0 mm. The water-absorbing swellable resin is preferably dispersed uniformly in the swellable layer from the viewpoint of uniform swelling. The water-absorbing swellable resin 411 is uniformly held by the pulp 412, but the material holding the water-absorbing swellable resin 411 is not limited to pulp, and any material that can be uniformly dispersed in the swellable layer may be used. Cellulose, polyethylene, polypropylene, silk, hemp, wool, acetate, nylon, acrylic, pulp, cotton, rayon, polyester, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, or a combination of these, alone or in combination Can be used in combination. Further, when the water-absorbing swellable resin can be uniformly dispersed in the swellable layer, a holding material such as pulp 412 may be omitted. Considering the shape retention during swelling, the appearance of the volatilizer, and the ease of laminating the swellable and non-swellable layers, if fiber products such as non-woven fabric are installed on the upper and lower surfaces of the water-absorbing swellable resin, It is advantageous in shape, appearance and adhesion of the swellable and non-swellable layers. Examples of the material of the fiber product include fibers made of cellulose, polyethylene, polypropylene, silk, hemp, wool, acetate, nylon, acrylic, pulp, cotton, rayon, polyester, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, or a combination thereof. These composite fibers can be used alone or in combination of two or more. As the swellable layer 41, a commercially available water-absorbing swellable resin-containing sheet can be used, and examples thereof include “B-SAP” (manufactured by Oji Kinocross Co., Ltd.) and Bel Oasis (manufactured by Teijin Ltd.). The swellable layer 41 swells while remaining in the swellable layer even if the fragrance deodorant liquid in the fragrance deodorant liquid container 1 disappears, and as the fragrance deodorant liquid in the swellable layer 41 further volatilizes. The swelling gradually decreases. For this reason, the user of the fragrance deodorizer provided with the volatilization body of the present invention can confirm that volatilization continues due to the swelling of the volatile body even if the fragrance deodorization liquid in the fragrance deodorization liquid container disappears. Although the volatilization body of this invention should just have only a swellable layer, it will become the thing excellent in the point of uniform swelling and volatilization amount by having a non-swellable layer further.

The non-swellable layer 42 contains an aroma deodorant diffusible material 421. The non-swellable layer 42 in FIGS. 3 and 4 shows a nonwoven fabric of pulp as an example. The fragrance deodorant diffusible material 421 is a substance that diffuses the fragrance deodorant liquid in contact with the fragrance deodorant liquid sucked up by the sucking core material 2, for example, cellulose, polyethylene, polypropylene, silk, hemp, wool, acetate. , Nylon, acrylic, pulp, cotton, rayon, polyester, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, or a combination of these, or a combination of two or more of them can be used. Preferred aromatic deodorant diffusing materials are cellulose, polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyester. The non-swellable layer is preferably a non-woven fabric of these aromatic deodorant diffusing materials. Basis weight of the non-swelling layer is preferably 20~200g / m 2 / mm, 50~150g / m 2 / mm is more preferable.

Further, when uniform swelling is required, it is preferable to adjust the thickness of the non-swellable layer. For example, when the non-swellable layer is in contact with the suction core material at the center of its lower surface, the aromatic deodorant liquid sucked up by the suction core material and reaching the non-swellable layer immediately diffuses in the vertical direction and reaches the swellable layer. Although the vicinity of the center of the swellable layer swells sufficiently, the aromatic deodorant liquid supplied to the end of the swellable layer is insufficient, and the swelling at the end of the swellable layer is reduced, resulting in the entire volatilization body. Swelling may not be uniform. Therefore, the thickness of the non-swellable layer is preferably 1 mm or more. More preferably, it is 1-15 mm.

Furthermore, the distance from the core material to the end of the volatilizer is also important for uniform swelling. In all positions of the peripheral edge of the surface in contact with the core material in the non-swellable layer (core material contact surface; usually the lower surface of the volatilizer , that is, the lower surface of the non-swellable layer ) Distance to the core material contact area (core material contact area) (the minimum distance from the peripheral edge to the core material contact area at all positions of the peripheral edge of the core material contact surface , that is, the lower surface of the non-swellable layer ) It is preferably 5.2 cm or less, more preferably less than 4.7 cm, and even more preferably 4.2 cm or less. For example, if the core material is a circle having a diameter of 2 cm, the lower surface of the non-swellable layer is preferably large enough to fit within a circle of 6.2 cm (core material radius 1 cm + 5.2 cm) from the center of the core material.

Furthermore, the thickness of the non-swellable layer and the shortest distance from the periphery of the core contact surface to the core contact region (in other words, at all positions of the periphery of the lower surface of the non-swellable layer, from the periphery to the core contact region) By controlling the ( shortest distance) , more uniform swelling can be obtained. The range calculated by the thickness (mm) / the shortest distance (mm) is preferably 1/50 to 1/1, more preferably 1/24 to 1 / 1.5, and 1/15. A range of ~ 1/2 is more preferable.

The volatilization body of the present invention is applicable not only to the aromatic deodorizer A shown in FIG. 1 but also to any type of aromatic deodorizer that sucks up the aromatic deodorant liquid and volatilizes it in the volatilization section. Therefore, the fragrance deodorizer of the present invention comprises an fragrance deodorant liquid container having an opening, an fragrance deodorant liquid accommodated in the fragrance deodorant liquid container, a sucking core material and a volatilization part, and the volatilization A volatile body provided such that the portion can be exposed in the air, at least a part of the wicking core material is immersed in the fragrance deodorant liquid, and the fragrance deodorant liquid sucked up by the wicking core material is the volatilization An aromatic deodorizer which is impregnated and volatilized in a body, wherein the volatilized body is the volatilized body of the present invention. EXAMPLES Hereinafter, although this invention is demonstrated in detail by a test example, this invention is not limited to these.
Test Example 1: Measurement of volatilization amount The volatilization amount of an aromatic deodorizer equipped with a swellable volatilizer and an ordinary aromatic deodorizer equipped with a non-swelling volatilizer was measured by the following method. Place 200 ml of fragrance deodorant liquid in a 200 ml fragrance deodorant liquid container, insert the suction core from the container opening, bring one end into contact with the fragrance deodorant liquid, and contact the other end with the center of the bottom surface of the volatilizer. The fragrance deodorizer was measured after 0, 7, 11, 15, and 21 days after being fixed in a state of being allowed to stand and placed in a room at a constant temperature (25 ° C.). A value obtained by subtracting the measured weight from the weight of the deodorizing aroma device on the 0th day was calculated as a reduction amount of the aroma deodorizing liquid. In addition, the volatilizer, the fragrance deodorizer and the fragrance deodorizing liquid used in this test are as follows. Moreover, the swelling volatilization body was designed so that the thickness might become the same thickness as a non-expandable volatilization body by swelling. Therefore, both volatilization bodies are substantially the same volume.

According to this test, the volatilization rate of the swellable volatilizer was significantly higher than that of a non-swellable volatilizer made of pulp nonwoven fabric, which is a general volatilizer. Moreover, in the test using the swellable volatilizer, the fragrance deodorant liquid in the fragrance deodorant liquid container disappeared on the 15th day. Was confirmed to remain.

Test Example 2: Measurement of deodorizing power The effects of a swellable volatilizer and a general non-swelling volatilizer on malodorous components were measured by the following method. Both volatilized materials are each impregnated with 40 g of aroma deodorant solution, placed in a 10 L Tedlar bag, sealed, and put in 5 L of air and malodorous components (amount to be about 100 ppm). The initial concentration of the ingredients was measured. One hour later, the malodor component concentration in the Tedlar bag was measured, and the deodorization rate (%) was calculated from the following formula.
(Initial concentration−measured concentration) × 100 / initial concentration The volatilizer and the aromatic deodorant liquid used in this test are the same as those in Test Example 1, and the malodorous component, Tedlar bag, and measuring instrument are as follows. Moreover, the thickness of a swelling volatilization body becomes the same as the thickness (15 mm) of a non-swelling volatilization body by impregnating 40g of fragrance deodorizing liquids.
<Odor component>

Test Example 3: Swelling tendency 1
The size advantageous for the swelling of the swellable volatilizer to be uniformly swelled was examined by the following method. The swellable volatilizer used in Test Example 1 was variously changed, and in the same manner as in Test Example 1, it was placed in an aroma deodorization container and the aroma deodorization container was left standing, and the state of swelling after 1 day was observed. In addition, the fragrance deodorizer and the fragrance deodorant liquid used for this test are the same as those of Test Example 1, and the swellable volatilizer is as follows.
<Swellable Volatilizer> (2 layers)
Shape and size: Plate-like lower layer (non-inflatable layer) having a width of 2 cm and lengths of 4, 6, 8, and 10 cm: the same as Test Example 1. However, there are four types of thicknesses of 1, 2, 4, and 6 mm. The basis weight per 1 mm thickness is 100 g / m 2 .
