Description
超音波ビームを三次元の可動又は静止空間体積に対して形成し、操向し(steers)、且つ選択的に集束する(focuses)、画像信号トランスミッタ及びレシーバを有するトランスデューサ素子の二次元超音波撮像アレイ;
超音波セラピー体積に対して形成し、操向し、且つ選択的に集束及び運搬する(deliver)セラピー信号トランスミッタを各々が有する、1つ又はそれより多くのトランスデューサ素子の二次元超音波セラピーアレイ;及び、
体積の三次元画像を与えるよう画像トランスミッタ及びレシーバを制御すると同時に、体積に対してセラピーを運搬するよう1つ又はそれより多くのセラピートランスミッタの各々を独立して制御する、コントローラ、
を有し、撮像及びセラピートランスデューサ素子のアレイの位置は、互いに対して既知である(known relative to one another)。
三次元超音波撮像及びセラピーの適用に対する装置を利用して体積を撮像する段階;及び、
装置を利用してセラピーを組織に対して運搬する段階、
を有する。前出の装置は:
超音波ビームを三次元の可動又は静止空間体積に対して形成し、操向し、且つ選択的に集束する、画像信号トランスミッタ及びレシーバを有するトランスデューサ素子の二次元超音波撮像アレイ;
超音波セラピーを体積に対して形成し、操向し、且つ選択的に集束及び運搬するセラピー信号トランスミッタを各々が有する、1つ又はそれより多くのトランスデューサ素子の二次元超音波セラピーアレイ;及び、
体積の三次元画像を与えるよう画像トランスミッタ及びレシーバを制御すると同時に、体積に対してセラピーを運搬するよう1つ又はそれより多くのセラピートランスミッタの各々を独立して制御する、コントローラ、
を有し、撮像及びセラピートランスデューサ素子のアレイの位置は、互いに対して既知である。
Claims (2)
- 三次元超音波撮像及びセラピーの適用に対する装置であって:
超音波ビームを三次元の可動又は静止空間体積に対して形成し、操向し、且つ選択的に集束する画像信号トランスミッタ及びレシーバを有するトランスデューサ素子の二次元超音波撮像アレイと;
超音波セラピーを前記体積に対して形成し、操向し、且つ選択的に集束及び供給するセラピー信号トランスミッタを各アレイが有する、トランスデューサ素子の1つ以上の二次元超音波セラピーアレイであって、
前記二次元超音波撮像アレイ及び前記二次元超音波セラピーアレイの位置は互いに対して位置合わせ、又は、相互に関連付けされ、さらに、前記1つ以上の二次元超音波セラピーアレイは2つの同心円間における二次元環状空間内に位置決めされ、前記1つ以上の二次元超音波セラピーアレイの前記トランスデューサ素子は(i)円形状であり且つ(ii)それぞれの前記二次元超音波セラピーアレイにわたってランダムに分布され、前記二次元超音波撮像アレイが前記2つの同心円のうちの内側の円の二次元空間内に位置決めされる、
1つ以上の二次元超音波セラピーアレイと;
(i)前記体積の三次元画像を与えるよう前記二次元超音波撮像アレイの前記画像信号トランスミッタ及びレシーバを制御し、且つ、(ii)同時に、前記体積に対して超音波セラピーを供給するよう前記1つ以上の二次元超音波セラピーアレイの前記セラピー信号トランスミッタを独立して制御する、コントローラと、
を有し、
更に、前記二次元超音波撮像アレイ及び前記二次元超音波セラピーアレイの各々は、作動の振幅、位相、及び周波数において個別に制御可能である複数の超音波トランスデューサ素子を備え、
(i)前記1つ以上の二次元超音波セラピーアレイは、前記2つの同心円間における前記二次元環状空間内に位置決めされた複数の二次元超音波セラピーアレイを有し、(ii)前記二次元超音波撮像アレイは、前記内側の円の前記二次元空間内に位置決めされ、前記複数の二次元超音波セラピーアレイの各々は、異なる超音波セラピー法で異なる空間体積において超音波セラピーを与えることができ、前記異なる超音波セラピー法は、異なる超音波周波数と異なる組織侵入度とを有する、
装置。 - 前記コントローラは、撮像される体積を前記1つ以上の二次元超音波セラピーアレイに位置合わせし、前記超音波セラピーは、前記体積に対して供給される、
ことを更に特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
