円管状の本管部の側面に、分岐管用開口部が開口形成されて、該分岐管用開口部に装着されるサドル部材を有し、該サドル部材には、分岐管用開口部周縁に添着されるサドル部から、枝状に分岐する分岐管部を予め一体とする分岐継手であって、
前記サドル部には、前記本管部の側面に添着された状態で、前記分岐管用開口部の切削位置をガイドするガイド部が設けられていることを特徴とする分岐継手。
