Description
The present invention relates to an eyelid interior device suitable for application to an ophthalmic drug delivery system (hereinafter referred to as DDS) that automatically exudes a drug to a site including the eyeball and conjunctiva.
In recent years, the development of “punctum plug type DDS” and “contact lens type DDS” has been promoted in Japan and overseas. The punctal plug type DDS is a method in which a DDS plug containing a drug (hereinafter referred to as a punctal plug) is worn on the punctal points above and below the left and right eyes, and the drug is exuded from the punctal plug ( (See Patent Documents 1 to 3).
Some punctal plugs as disclosed in Patent Documents 1 to 3 contain an active agent (medicine). By gradually releasing this active agent into the eye, it can be used for the treatment of glaucoma and the like.
Further, as described in Patent Document 4, the contact lens type DDS is a method in which a contact lens body is impregnated with a drug and the drug is gradually released into the eye.
Patent Document 5 describes an arc-shaped ophthalmic DDS device, and describes that the device is worn on a lower capsular sac and the drug is exuded to a site including the eyeball and conjunctiva.
In Non-Patent Document 1, an annular (ring-shaped) DDS device (hereinafter referred to as a scleral ring device) is attached to the sclera (white eye) around the cornea and exudes a drug from the scleral ring device. A method is described.
By the way, the eyelid interior device according to the conventional example has the following problems.
(I) According to the punctal plug type DDS as seen in Patent Documents 1 to 3, the punctum is originally blocked as the first outlet for the tears to pass through the nasolacrimal duct to the nose. Interferes with normal tear flow.
(Ii) In the case of a contact lens type DDS as seen in Patent Document 4, it is difficult to slowly release a drug with a stable concentration by those who have a lot of tears and who do not. In addition, depending on the medicine, it may be considered that the medicine itself is altered by light being directly irradiated onto the medicine of the contact lens type DDS body.
(iii) According to the annular eyelid interior device described in Non-Patent Document 1, the circular arc portion of the main body hits the small band present on the conjunctival sac ear side of the wearer, and gives the wearer a feeling of foreign object insertion. It is expected that. In addition, when it is annular, there is a problem that the main body portion rotates and the main body portion cannot be stably mounted between the outer peripheral edge portion of the cornea and the heel side base portion. Thereby, there exists a problem that the utilization as a mounting member of DDS becomes difficult.
Therefore, the present invention has been created in view of the above-described problems, and can stably fix the medicine container in the eyelid of the wearer without giving the wearer a foreign object insertion feeling, An object of the present invention is to provide an eyelid interior device that can be constructed as a DDS having a large capacity and can be used as a DDS attachment member.
In order to solve the above-described problem, the eyelid interior device according to claim 1 includes a C-shaped main body that can be worn in the eyelid, and the main body includes an upper end of the outer peripheral edge of the cornea and an upper capsular bag. And a drug container that stores a predetermined amount of drug in an arcuate piece.
According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, in the eyelid interior device according to the sixth aspect, the medicine container is attached to at least one of the first arc-shaped portion and the second arc-shaped portion of the main body.
The eyelid interior device according to claim 8 is the engagement member according to claim 7, wherein the medicine container has a concave shape for engaging and fixing to at least one of the first arc-shaped portion and the second arc-shaped portion. The eyelid interior device according to claim 9 is the eyelid interior device according to claim 8, wherein at least one of the first arc-shaped portion and the second arc-shaped portion constituting the backbone main body engages and fixes the drug container. For this reason, it is formed into a figure of 8.
According to the eyelid interior device according to the present invention, the two arc-shaped portions are provided with a C-shaped main body that repels up and down, and the U-shaped connecting portion of the main body is positioned to avoid the wearer's small band. By aligning, the main body can be fixed in a stable posture between the upper heel sac root and the lower heel sac root.
With this function, the wearer can wear the main body in the eyelid without feeling a foreign object insertion. In addition, since the connecting portion is configured to be caught by the small band, rotation of the main body in the conjunctival sac can be prevented.
According to the eyelid interior tool of the present invention, the drug container attached to the backbone main body according to the present invention is provided.
With this configuration, the drug can be automatically exuded into the eyelid from the drug container of the main body fixed between the root part of the upper eyelid sac and the root part of the lower eyelid sac. Moreover, not only can a large amount of medicine be stored as compared with the conventional system, but the medicine container is not exposed to the outside of the eye, so that the medicine does not undergo alteration due to light and concentration change due to drying. If a hollow body is used as the medicine container, the liquid medicine can be used as it is. If the medicine container is removable, only the medicine container can be replaced, and the main body can be used as it is. If the drug is contained in the main body itself, the uncomfortable feeling given to the wearer can be further reduced.
As a result, the eyelid interior tool can be sufficiently used as a mounting member for a large-capacity DDS that automatically supplies a medicine for a region including the eyeball and the conjunctiva.
Next, the eyelid interior tool according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
<First Embodiment>
1A, the eyelid
The
The

[Handling method]
When the eyelid

In the cross-sectional view of the human eye shown in FIG. 2, the conjunctiva is divided into an eyelid conjunctiva and an eyeball conjunctiva, both of which are folded and connected at a position deep in the eyelid. According to the eyelid
Thus, according to the eyelid
With this structure, by fitting the U-shaped connecting

<Second Embodiment>
Subsequently, with reference to FIGS. 3 to 6, the eyelid
For the
3B is a cross-sectional view taken along arrow X1-X1 of the eyelid
The
For automatic drug exudation, the penetration phenomenon is used. The permeation phenomenon is a phenomenon in which when a solution having a different concentration is in contact with a semipermeable membrane, the solvent of the low concentration solution tends to diffuse toward the high concentration solution. Semipermeable membranes have the property of not allowing solutes to pass through but solvents to pass through. The pressure at which the osmosis phenomenon occurs is called osmotic pressure. For example, the force by which water moves from the lower concentration to the higher concentration between two liquids separated by a cell membrane and having different concentrations is called osmotic pressure.
The cross section of the
Moreover, the
[Production method]
Next, a method for manufacturing the eyelid
Moreover, the method of manufacturing the chemical |
A predetermined amount of chemical solution is injected through the injection port, and then the injection port is closed with a plug member. And the 1 or more opening part 3 shown in FIG. 4A for exuding a chemical | medical agent to a predetermined position is formed. As the plug member, the same material as that of the

As described above, according to the eyelid
With this structure, the wearer can stably wear the
In this example, the cross-section of the
Moreover, although the case where the chemical |
<Third Embodiment>
Subsequently, an eyelid
The arc-shaped
In the cross-sectional view shown in FIG. 7B, the cross section of the
In the cross-sectional view shown in FIG. 8, the
[Material]
As the material of the
[Production method]
In the method of manufacturing the eyelid
If the
A predetermined amount of chemical solution is injected through the injection port, and then the injection port is closed with a plug member. Then, one or
Thus, according to the eyelid
With this structure, the amount of medicine to be stored is reduced as compared with the second embodiment, but the wearer can stably wear the eyelid
In the third embodiment, the arc-shaped
