Description

The present invention relates to a straight tube type LED illuminator in which an LED is housed in a straight tube type main body to emit light, and more specifically, a composite that holds terminals fixed at both ends of the straight tube type main body. The present invention relates to a straight tube type LED illuminator having an improved resin base.

In recent years, a large number of straight tube LED illuminators have been developed to replace straight tube fluorescent lamps.

As shown in FIG. 14, a conventional straight tube type LED illuminator has a cylindrical outer case 2 having a translucent portion 1 that can drop light into and out of a peripheral wall, and a heat radiating dual purpose housed in the outer case 2. An illuminator body A having a substrate holding bracket 3 and a substrate 5 supported on the substrate holding bracket 3 and mounted with a large number of LEDs 4 on its surface is provided. Synthetic resin caps 6 and 7 are fixed to both ends thereof. 15 (for example, Patent Document 1), a translucent portion 1 made of a semi-cylindrical translucent plate and a semi-cylindrical substrate holding metal fitting 3 as shown in FIG. Various types of structures have been developed, such as a substrate holding metal fixture 3 and a substrate 5 having a number of LEDs 4 mounted on the surface thereof.

As shown in FIGS. 16 to 18, the caps 6, 7 of these straight tube type LED illuminators include a cylindrical portion 8 fitted to the end of the illuminator main body A, and the cylindrical portion 8. It is composed of an end plate portion 9 that closes the tip portion, and a terminal is passed through and held in this end plate portion, and one of the caps 6 is connected to the power supply side pattern of the substrate 5 for power supply. In the other base 7, the terminal 10 is held by a ground terminal 11 that is connected to the ground side pattern of the substrate 5 so as to penetrate in the axial direction of the illuminator body A.

These types of caps 6 and 7 are configured to integrally hold the terminals 10 and 11 by insert molding. The terminals 10 and 11 and the pattern of the substrate 5 are formed by connecting the ends of the conductive wire 12 to the terminals and the pattern. Soldered to.

In the conventional straight tube type LED illuminator as described above, the entire illuminator is supported by the caps at both ends, and for attaching / detaching the illuminator, the illuminator main body part is operated and operated. It is desirable that the coupling strength between the illuminator body and both holders is high. For this purpose, it is preferable in terms of structure and manufacturing that a large fitting allowance between the two is taken.

However, since each terminal of the base is insert-molded, the conductive wire cannot be connected to the terminal in advance, and the conductive wire must be soldered after the base is molded.

For this reason, if the cylindrical portion of the base is lengthened, it becomes difficult to solder the conductive wire 2 to the terminal, so that the length is limited, and in order to increase the coupling strength of the base against the illuminator body, It was necessary to apply another reinforcing means.

In addition, since the LED generates a large amount of heat during light emission, it is necessary to use a resin material having high heat resistance and high flame retardance, and the base is particularly expensive.

In view of such a conventional problem, the present invention aims to provide a straight tube type LED illuminator that can reduce the manufacturing cost, has a large coupling force between the base and the illuminator main body, and can save the assembly work. It was made.

In order to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems and achieve the intended object, the invention according to claim 1 is a straight tube having a substrate on which a large number of LEDs are mounted. and illuminator body having a substrate holding bracket of the radiator serves to hold a substrate, is fixed to the end of the illumination body part, connected to the ground-side pattern of the power supply terminal or the substrate to supply power to LED of said substrate A straight tube type LED illuminator comprising a base made of a synthetic resin that has a grounding terminal that is held through in the axial direction of the illuminator main body, wherein the base is the illuminator main body And a base body portion integrally formed with an end plate portion that closes the tip end portion of the cylindrical portion, and the end plate portion has a terminal holding portion that penetrates the front and back sides. A window hole is formed,

A terminal holding piece for holding the power supply terminal or the grounding terminal is fitted in the terminal holding window hole so as not to be insertable / removable. The terminal holding piece is constituted by a pair of divided pieces divided into two parts. A terminal fitting groove is formed on the joining surface of the piece, and a terminal for the end plate portion is formed by fitting a power feeding terminal or a grounding terminal having a shape matching with the terminal fitting groove, and joining both divided pieces to each other. It is characterized by being fitted into a holding window hole.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in addition to the configuration of the first aspect, the terminal holding piece is formed of a material having higher heat resistance than the base body portion.

In the straight tube type LED illuminator according to the present invention, the bases at both ends of the illuminator main body portion on which a substrate on which a large number of LEDs are mounted are accommodated are fitted into the end portions of the illuminator main body portion. A base body part integrally having a cylindrical part and an end plate part closing the tip part of the cylindrical part is provided, and a terminal holding window hole penetrating the front and back is formed in the end plate part of the base body part In the terminal holding window hole, a terminal holding piece for holding the power supply terminal or the grounding terminal is fitted so as not to be insertable / removable, and the power supply terminal or the grounding terminal cannot be inserted into or removed from the terminal holding piece. A terminal fitting groove that is fitted and held in the terminal fitting groove, and the terminal holding piece is fitted into the terminal fitting groove in a state in which the power feeding terminal or the grounding terminal is fitted into the terminal fitting groove. Incorporation of power supply terminal or grounding terminal into the base by adopting a structure fitted in the hole However, it is performed in a state where conductive wires for connecting to the pattern of the substrate are connected in advance, so that the soldering work in a narrow portion in the base is not required as in the prior art, and the work efficiency is improved. While improving, since the cylindrical part of a nozzle | cap | die can be lengthened, the fitting allowance with an illuminator main-body part can be taken large, and a coupling strength can be made higher.

Further, in the present invention, the terminal holding piece is constituted by a pair of divided pieces divided into two, a terminal fitting groove is formed on the joint surface of the divided piece, and the terminal fitting groove is aligned with the terminal fitting groove. The terminal holding force for the terminal holding piece is increased by fitting the power supply terminal or the grounding terminal, joining the two divided pieces to each other, and fitting them into the terminal holding window hole of the end plate portion. be able to.

Furthermore, in the present invention, since the terminal is held by the terminal holding piece formed separately from the base body portion, an expensive heat-resistant / flame retardant resin for dealing with the heat generation of the LED is used. It is sufficient to use it only for the terminal holding piece, and a high-quality product can be manufactured at a low cost.

As shown in FIG. 8, the grounding terminal 36 is formed with a rod-shaped metal material, and a flange-shaped protrusion 36 a having a flange shape is formed at an intermediate portion in the length direction.

The terminal holding piece 48 is constituted by a pair of divided pieces 48a and 48a obtained by dividing the terminal holding piece 48 into two vertically, and the groove 50 having a shape in which the grounding terminal 36 is fitted and fitted to the joint surface of both divided pieces. 50 is formed, and the grounding terminal 36 is fitted into this and the divided pieces 48a, 48a are joined to each other so that the grounding terminal 36 is inserted in the center of the terminal holding piece 48, and this terminal By fitting the holding piece 48 into the window hole 44, the grounding terminal 36 is assembled in the center of the end plate portion 31, and the grounding terminal 36 terminal is outside the end plate portion 31 of the ground side base 22. A front end portion 36 b is projected, and a conductive wire connecting end portion 36 c is projected from the inner surface side terminal of the end plate portion 31.

When assembling, first, one end of the conductive wire 43 for connecting to the pattern of the substrate 37 is connected to the conductive wire connecting end portion 36c of each grounding terminal 36 by soldering or other methods.

In a state where the grounding terminal 36 with the conductive wire is incorporated in the terminal holding piece 48, the terminal holding piece 48 is fitted into the window hole 44 by being press-fitted from the outside of the end plate portion 31. As a result, the end face of the terminal holding piece 48 comes into contact with the projecting piece 46 at the innermost part of the window hole 44, and the retaining pawl 49 is engaged with the inner edge 44 b of the end plate part of the cylindrical part 44 a of the window hole 44. As a result, the conductor wire 43 is led out of the cylindrical portion 30 of the ground side base 22.

As an example, the fixing of the power feeding bases 21 and 22 to the illuminator main body 20 is a groove-shaped recessed portion 52 having a U-shaped cross section toward the outer periphery of the cylindrical portion 30 of the both bases in the axial direction. (Shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3), one end of the recessed portion 52 is opened on the surface of the end plate portion 31, and the other end is formed as a closed end portion 52a. The insertion hole 53 is formed.

Then, the conductive wire 43 led out from each of the power supply side caps 21 and 22 is connected to a predetermined portion of the pattern of the substrate 27 in the illuminator body 20 by soldering or using a connector.

Thereafter, with the outer case 24 of the illuminator body 20 fitted in the cylindrical portion 30 of the base, a set screw 54 is inserted through the set screw insertion hole 53 to hold the substrate in the illuminator body 20. It fixes by screwing in the end surface of the metal fitting 25.

In addition, the coupling | bonding of the electric power feeding side caps 21 and 22 and the illuminator main-body part 20 can take various methods corresponding to the structure of an illuminator main-body part.

In the present invention, in the ground side base 22 for the ground terminal, a terminal fitting groove 56 is formed on the side surface of one rectangular terminal holding piece 55 as shown in FIG. The terminal 57 is fitted, and the terminal holding piece 55 is fitted into the window hole 44 of the end plate portion 31.

Further, even in the power supply side base 21 for the power supply terminal, as shown in FIG. 10, the terminal holding piece 60 is constituted by the divided pieces 60a and 60a which are divided into two parts, and the terminal fitting groove is formed on the joint surface between them. 61 is formed, power supply terminals 35 and 35 similar to those described above are fitted thereto, and both divided pieces 60a and 60a are joined to hold power supply terminals 35 and 35, which are connected to the end plate portion. It is made to fit in 31 window holes 37.

In this case, rod-shaped power supply terminals 62 and 62 may be used as shown in FIG. 11, and a concave groove 63 that matches the rod-shaped power supply terminal is formed on the joining surface of both split pieces 60a and 60a. In addition, the power feeding terminals 62 and 62 may be held by the power feeding terminals 62 and 62.

Further, each terminal holding piece may be circular as shown in FIG. 12, and may be configured to have divided pieces 64 and 64 that are divided into half. In this case, the connection with the base body portion is performed by fitting the terminal holding piece 66 in which the circular window hole 65 is formed in a circular shape and the split pieces 64 and 64 are joined to the window hole 65 by screwing. Also good.

In addition to these, various methods such as bonding with an elastic adhesive, ultrasonic welding, spin-eld welding, and the like can be used to bond the base body portion and the terminal holding piece.

The base body and the terminal holding piece are preferably both made of a heat-resistant and flame-retardant synthetic resin material, but the terminal holding piece is made more heat-resistant and flame-retardant than the synthetic resin material of the base body. An excellent material can be used, whereby the amount of expensive heat-resistant resin used can be reduced.
