車体パネルの車室側の側面を覆って装着される合成樹脂製の車両用内装部品であって、
前記内装部品は、その周縁部に一体成形されて車体パネル面に向けて突出するフランジと、
前記フランジの端面から内周面に亘って貼り付けた緩衝材と、を備え、
前記フランジは、その端面に前記緩衝材の厚みよりもやや大きめの溝幅を有する溝を備え、
前記緩衝材を、その一側端縁部を前記フランジの端面上に載せて木目込みバーを用いて端末をこの溝内に木目込み処理して貼り付けて固定すると共に、該フランジの端縁に沿って折り込んで内周面に貼り付けたことを特徴とする車両用内装部品。
