A second side plate portion 27 located in the configured groove. The locking member 30 is a seat track device characterized in that it is supported on the inner side plate surface of the inner side plate member 20b, so that the inner side can be reduced in size and weight in the same manner as in the configuration 2. Furthermore, there exists an effect that the specific structural example which can raise the freedom degree of the upper rail 2 can be given.

In Configuration 4, in any one of Configurations 1 to 3, the lock mechanism 3 further includes a back side through-hole 22h formed in the side plate portion 22, and the engagement protrusion 31 of the lock member 30 is provided. The upper rail 2 is locked in a movement-inhibited state by being engaged with the engagement receiving portion 130 while being inserted into the front side through holes 20bh and 20ah and being inserted into the back side through hole 22h. Since it is a seat track device, in addition to the effects of configurations 1 to 3, the engagement protrusion 31 is supported at three points on the upper rail side, the lower rail side, and the upper rail side, so that the locking is surely performed. There is an effect that can.

Configuration 5 is any one of Configurations 1 to 4, wherein the lock member 30 is a spring 30 in which a linear elastic body is bent in a concavo-convex shape to form an engagement protrusion 31, and both ends 301, 302 thereof. Is supported on the inner plate surface of the plate material of the upright plate portion 20, and the engagement receiving portion 130 is an engagement tooth 130 formed by cutting out the lower end edge of the hanging portion 13 in an uneven shape, The intermediate protrusion 30c of the spring 30 is pressed downward and moved to disengage the engaging protrusion 31 from the engaging tooth 130 to release the lock. Since the seat track device is characterized in that the protrusion 31 is engaged with the engagement teeth 130 to be in a locked state, the number of parts can be minimized, and the size and weight can be further reduced as compared with the configurations 1 to 4. Lock member that can meet the demand There is an effect that it is possible to provide a specific configuration.

Configuration 6 is that in Configuration 5, the front side through holes 20bh and 20ah formed in the standing plate portion 20 and the back side through hole 22h formed in the side plate portion 22 penetrate from the inner surface of the upper wall portion of the through hole. Since the seat track device is characterized by having a tongue-shaped portion 20bh1 (or the like) provided so as to hang down into the hole, the engagement protrusion 31 is provided at three points on the upper rail side, the lower rail side, and the upper rail side. Part of the supporting function can be performed by the tongue-shaped portion 20bh1 (etc.), and locking can be performed more reliably.

According to Configuration 7, in any one of Configurations 3 to 6, the extending width of the bottom plate portion 21 of the upper rail 2 is wider than the extending width of the second bottom plate portion 26, and the standing plate portion of the upper rail 2 The virtual surface obtained by extending 20 downward divides the bottom wall portion 10 of the lower rail 1 so that the width immediately below the bottom plate portion 21 is wider than the width directly below the second bottom plate portion 26. Since it is a seat track device, it is possible to meet the demand for further reduction in size and weight than in the first configuration.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. 1 is a cross-sectional view of the seat track apparatus according to the embodiment (a cross-sectional view taken along line BB in FIG. 4), FIG. 2 is a perspective view of main parts, and FIG. 3 (a) is a main part of FIG. The front view seen from the A direction, (b) is a perspective view of the spring 30. 4 is an overall perspective view of the seat track apparatus according to the embodiment (however, only one of the pair of left and right is shown in FIG. 4). In the following, “outer” means the left side in FIG. 1, and “inner” means the right side.

The illustrated seat track apparatus has an upper portion in a space (groove-shaped space) surrounded by a bottom wall portion 10 of the lower rail 1 and two side wall portions (an outer side wall portion 11 and an inner side wall portion 16) standing upright from both edges thereof. It is a device that accommodates the lower part of the rail 2 and supports it so as to be movable in the rail direction. In order to enable this movement, rollers 41 and balls 42 and 43 are provided in the gap between the upper rail 2 and the lower rail 1. For example, a roller 41 is provided between the bottom plate portion 21 and the bottom wall portion 10. Further, a ball 42 is provided between the outer side wall portion 11 and the top wall portion 12 and a portion near the tip of the side plate portion 22, and a ball 43 is provided between the hanging portion 13 and the bent portion of the side plate portion 22. Is provided.
The illustrated seat track apparatus is provided with a lock mechanism 3 (described later) between the upper rail 2 and the lower rail 1, so that the movement of the upper rail 2 can be stopped and locked at a desired position. it can.

The lower rail 1 includes a bottom wall portion 10 installed in parallel to the floor surface, an outer side wall portion 11 erected vertically from an outer side edge of the bottom wall portion 10, and approximately 90 from an upper end edge of the outer side wall portion 11. The ceiling wall portion 12 that is bent and extended to the inner side, the hanging portion 13 that is bent downward from the tip edge of the ceiling wall portion 12 by approximately 90 degrees, and the inner edge from the inner side edge of the bottom wall portion 10. An inner side wall portion 16 that is bent at an obtuse angle obliquely upward and extends so that its maximum height is lower than the lower end of the drooping portion 13, and the lower end of the drooping portion 13 has a maximum height from the leading edge of the inner side wall portion 16. The second top wall portion 17 bent approximately 90 degrees so as to be lower and extended obliquely upward on the outer side, and the bottom wall portion 10 side (outer side) bent approximately 90 degrees from the leading edge of the second top wall portion 17 And a second hanging part 18 extending obliquely downward). The lower rail 1 composed of these parts can be manufactured, for example, by bending a single metal plate.

The upper rail 2 is composed of two vertically stacked plate members 20a and 20b, and an upper plate 20 that supports a sheet (not shown) at the upper portion and an outer plate that is one of the two plate members of the vertical plate 20. A bottom plate portion 21 that is bent and extended from the lower end edge of the side plate member 20a toward the outer side by approximately 90 degrees, and an outer edge (tip end edge) of the bottom plate portion 21 that is erected upward, and the front end edge thereof is the outer of the lower rail 1 An inner side which is the other of the two plate members of the side plate portion 22 and the standing plate portion 20 which are positioned in a groove (lower open groove) constituted by the side wall portion 11, the ceiling wall portion 12 and the hanging portion 13. A second bottom plate portion 26 that is bent and extended from the lower end edge of the plate member 20b to the inner side by approximately 90 degrees, and an inner side edge (front end edge) of the second bottom plate portion 26 that is erected upward, and the front end edge thereof is a lower rail. 1 inner side wall portion 16, second ceiling wall portion 17 and second hanging portion 18. And a second side plate portion 27 which is positioned in the groove (the groove of the lower opening) that. Each plate 20a, 20b of the upper rail 2 comprised from these each part can each be manufactured by bending and forming one metal plate, for example.
The outer side plate member 20a and the inner side plate member 20b use two different plate members in the present embodiment, but instead of this, for example, one plate member is bent and not shown in FIG. It may be a continuous one above.
The outer side plate member 20a and the inner side plate member 20b are in close contact with each other in the illustrated example, but they may have a predetermined gap.

In the above description, the front end (upper end) side of the side plate portion 22 is appropriately bent and appropriately inclined so that the balls 42 and 43 can be appropriately supported.
In the above description, the extending width of the bottom plate portion 21 of the upper rail 2 is wider than the extending width of the second bottom plate portion 26. Similarly, the virtual surface (surface obtained by extending the boundary surface between the plate members 20a and 20b downward in FIG. 1) of the upright plate portion 20 of the upper rail 2 downward is the width of the lower portion of the bottom plate portion 21. The bottom wall portion 10 of the lower rail 1 is divided so as to be wider than the width of the lower side portion of the two bottom plate portion 26. In other words, the portion on the right side from the boundary of the upright plate portion 20 in FIG. 1 is configured to be smaller than the left portion, and is lightweight.

The lock mechanism includes a lock member 30, a through hole 20bh in the inner side plate member 20b, a through hole 20ah in the outer side plate member 20a, and a plurality of notches formed at equal intervals in the rail longitudinal direction at the lower end of the hanging portion 13. The engaging teeth 130 and the through holes 22 h formed in the side plate portion 22. Here, the number of the through holes 20bh, 20ah, and 22h is determined according to the number of the engaging protrusions 31 of the lock member 30, and the height positions thereof are the same as those of the engaging teeth 130.

In the seat track apparatus according to the present embodiment, the lock member 30 is a spring formed by bending a metal linear elastic body into a concavo-convex shape as shown in FIG. Are attached to the inner side plate 20b by being locked to holding parts 201 and 202 formed by cutting and raising from the inner side plate 20b as shown in FIG. In other words, it is supported on the plate surface of the inner side plate 20b. Since these holding portions 201 and 202 are set at a position higher than the highest portion of the second top wall portion 17 of the lower rail 1, even after the upper rail 2 is assembled to the lower rail 1, It is exposed without being hidden behind it. For this reason, even after the upper rail 2 is assembled to the lower rail 1, it is possible to easily perform a generally manual process of attaching the lock member 30 to the holding portions 201 and 202 of the inner side plate member 20 b. it can.

Further, since the process of assembling the upper rail 2 to the lower rail 1 is relatively easy to automate, a manual process of attaching the lock member 30 after assembling the upper rail 2 and the lower rail 1 in the automation process is performed. To improve the overall work efficiency.

In a state in which the lock member (spring) 30 is attached by being locked to the holding portions 201 and 202 of the inner side plate member 20b, the engagement protrusion 31 is formed in each of the through holes 20bh and the inner side plate member 20b and the outer side plate member 20a. It is inserted into 20 ah, engaged with a notch (engagement tooth 130) at the lower end of the hanging part 13, and further inserted into the through hole 22 h of the side plate part 22. In other words, the engaging protrusion 31 has, in the length direction thereof, the upper rail side member (the standing rail) on both sides of the portion supported by the lower rail side member (the notch end surface of the engaging tooth 130 of the hanging part 13). It will be supported (three-point support) by the inner wall surfaces of the through holes 20bh and 20ah of the plate part 20 and the inner wall surfaces of the through holes 22h of the side plate part 22, thereby realizing a stable lock.

When the engaging protrusion 31 is inserted into each of the through holes 20bh, 20ah, and 22h, the tip connecting part 31a that connects the tips of the adjacent engaging protrusions 31 and 31 has a lock member (spring) 30 attached thereto. By slightly pushing down, gaps below each tongue-like part (20bh1 etc.) provided so as to hang down from the inner surface of the upper wall part of each through-hole 20bh, 20ah, 22h into each through-hole (20bh1, etc.) Each through hole 20bh, 20ah, 22h is passed through the inner surface of the lower wall portion. Further, when the push-down is released after the insertion, the engaging protrusion 31 and the tip connecting portion 31a are returned to the upper position by the spring force, and hence the tip connecting portion 31a is subsequently moved by the tongue-like portion of the back side through hole 22h. It will be locked and it will be prevented from coming off. For this reason, a locked state can be maintained reliably.

The unlock / lock will be described.
When the handle 51 shown in FIG. 4 is pulled up, the release lever 52 linked to the handle 51 rotates counterclockwise in FIG. As a result, the portion of the release lever 52 that is located on the opposite side of the pin 53 is shifted downward, and the tip portion 520 (see FIG. 1) pushes down the central portion 30c of the lock member (spring) 30. As a result, the engaging protrusion 31 of the lock member (spring) 30 shifts downward and is released downward from the engaging tooth 130 of the hanging part 13 of the lower rail 1. That is, the lock is released.

Next, when the handle 51 is released, the lock member (spring) 30 is restored to the original state by the spring force. That is, the engagement protrusion 31 of the lock member (spring) 30 is shifted upward, enters the engagement tooth 130 of the hanging part 13 of the lower rail 1, and is again engaged (locked).
Note that the spring 530 wound around the pin 53 imparts an urging force for always lightly pressing the lock member (spring) 30.

Although the case where the lock member 30 is a spring as shown in FIG. 3B has been described above, a known lock member can be used instead of the spring 30. For example, a lock member provided with a lock claw is supported swingably on the inner side plate member 20b of the upright plate portion 20 of the upper rail 2 using a rotation shaft or the like. Alternatively, the penetrating portion 13 may be inserted into the through hole or the lower open cutout and the through hole of the side plate portion 22 to be locked.

When a spring formed by bending a metal linear elastic body in a concavo-convex shape as in the above-described embodiment is used as the lock member, the engagement protrusion 31 of the spring 30 is engaged with the engagement teeth 130 by the spring force. Since it is firmly pressed to the notch end face and is brought into close contact with no gap, there is an effect that no rattling occurs in the locked state.
Further, when the linear elastic body has a circular cross section, the diameter of the engagement protrusion 31 can be reduced while ensuring the strength, so the pitch of the lock teeth 130 in the rail direction can be maintained while maintaining the required lock strength. Can be small. That is, the step of the lock position can be reduced.
