Claims (13)
- 地球の表面上を延びる縦方向支持材と、
地球表面上の支持表面に接触するように形成された第一端部と、前記縦方向支持材に連結された第二端部とを各々が含み、前記支持表面から垂直方向に間隔をもった位置において、前記縦方向支持材を、縦方向軸である第一軸周りに回転可能に支持する複数の垂直支持材と、
前記第一軸に直交する第二軸周りにピボット運動可能に前記縦方向支持材に取り付けられた複数の平坦な太陽電池モジュールと、
を備え、
前記複数の太陽電池モジュールは、前記縦方向支持材から横方向外向きに延びる第一組と、前記第一組が延びる方向とは反対向きの横方向外向きに延びる第二組とを含み、該複数の太陽電池モジュールは、前記縦方向支持材の長さに沿って間隔を持って配置され、
日中、前記太陽電池モジュールが太陽の高度を追尾するように、日中における太陽の移動方向である第一方向に前記縦方向支持材を該第一軸周りに回転させ、一日が終わった後に前記第一方向とは反対方向である第二方向に前記縦方向支持材を該第一軸周りに回転させるために、前記縦方向支持材にモーターが連結され、
前記縦方向支持材には、日中に前記モーターにより該縦方向支持材に与えられる前記第一方向の回転力とは反対方向の前記第二方向に該縦方向支持材を回転させる力を付与するための平衡機構が連結されており、
前記複数の太陽電池モジュールを、前記第二軸周りに同時に回転させて、日中に太陽の方位角位置を追尾させるように、該複数の太陽電池モジュールを連動して前記第二軸周りにピボット運動させる駆動機構が設けられている、
ことを特徴とする地上設置式太陽追尾型光電池アレイ。 - 前記モーターに連結される第一歯車と、前記縦方向支持材に連結される第二歯車を更に含み、前記平衡機構は、太陽の高度を追尾するために前記第一方向に前記第一歯車が回転する時に、前記第一及び前記第二歯車を互いに係合状態に維持することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の地上設置式太陽追尾型光電池アレイ。
- 前記複数の太陽電池モジュールは、前記アレイの端部から見た時、重心が前記縦方向支持材に垂直で、かつ前記縦方向支持材を通過する状態で前記縦方向支持材に沿って配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の地上設置式太陽追尾型光電池アレイ。
- 前記平衡機構は、前記縦方向支持材の中心にある滑車、錘、及び前記錘と前記滑車との間に延びるケーブルとを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の地上設置式太陽追尾型光電池アレイ。
- 前記平衡機構は、前記アレイに対し前記第二方向に一定の回転力を与えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の地上設置式太陽追尾型光電池アレイ。
- 各々の太陽電池モジュールは、複数のレンズが対応する受け材に設置された長方形の箱を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の地上設置式太陽追尾型光電池アレイ。
- 前記長方形の箱は、43インチ(109cm)の幅と67インチ(170cm)の長さを持つことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の地上設置式太陽追尾型光電池アレイ。
- 前記縦方向支持材から離れて配置され、各々の前記太陽電池モジュールを互いに連結するリンク機構の部材を更に含み、前記リンク機構の部材は、前記第一軸に直交する前記第二軸周りに前記太陽電池モジュールを回転させて、日中太陽の方位角位置を追尾するために、前記縦方向支持材に対して軸方向に移動可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の地上設置式太陽追尾型光電池アレイ。
- 前記複数の垂直支持材の各々は、高さ及び幅が各々4インチ(10cm)の長方形断面を持つことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の地上設置式太陽追尾型光電池アレイ。
- 前記縦方向支持材は、地球の表面の南北方向に延びることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の地上設置式太陽追尾型光電池アレイ。
- 前記モジュールは、前記縦方向支持材の両側に対で配列され、前記第一モジュールは前記第一方向に前記縦方向支持材から横方向外向きに延び、前記第二モジュールは、前記縦方向支持材の長さ方向にみて前記第一モジュールに対応する位置にあり、前記第一方向とは反対向きの前記第二方向に外向きに延びることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の地上設置式太陽追尾型光電池アレイ。
- 前記平衡機構は、一日の始めの第一回転位置と一日の最後の第二回転位置との間で、前記第一回転方向に移動する間、前記モーターが前記縦方向支持材に一定したトルクを付与するように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の地上設置式太陽追尾型光電池アレイ。
- 前記モーターは、外側両端部から離れた前記縦方向支持材の中間部分に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の地上設置式太陽追尾型光電池アレイ。
