Claims (10)
- タービンエンジン(10)であって、
タービン(16)と、
空気を加圧するための圧縮機(12)と、
入口通路を通して加圧空気(43)を受けかつ該加圧空気と共に燃料を燃焼させて前記タービンに高温排気ガス(20)を送給するように作動できる燃焼器(14)と、
前記燃焼器(14)に近接して形成されたホイールスペース(42)と、
前記圧縮機(12)とホイールスペース(42)の間に延びる冷却空気通路(46)であって、圧縮機出口ディフューザ(44)によって部分的に画成される冷却空気通路(46)と、
圧縮機出口ディフューザ(44)の壁内に配置されたバルブ部材(52)を有しかつ前記ホイールスペース(42)内の状態に応答して該ホイールスペース(42)に冷却空気を流入させるように作動できるバルブ組立体(50)と
を備えるタービンエンジン。 - 前記バルブ組立体(50)が、前記バルブ部材(52)を移動させるように作動できるバルブアクチュエータ(56)をさらに含む、請求項1記載のタービンエンジン。
- 前記バルブアクチュエータ(56)と通信しておりかつ該バルブアクチュエータ(56)を起動させて前記バルブ部材(52)を移動させるように作動できるコントローラ(58)をさらに含む、請求項2記載のタービンエンジン。
- 前記ホイールスペース(42)内に配置されかつ該ホイールスペース(42)内の状態を示す信号を前記コントローラ(58)に送信するように作動できるセンサ(47)をさらに含み、前記コントローラ(58)が、前記信号に応答して前記バルブアクチュエータ(56)を起動させて前記バルブ部材(52)を移動させるように作動できる、請求項3記載のタービンエンジン。
- 前記状態が温度である、請求項4記載のタービンエンジン。
- 前記コントローラ(58)が、前記バルブ部材(52)の開放及び閉鎖を調整して前記冷却空気通路(46)を通る冷却空気の流量を変化させるように作動できる、請求項3記載のタービンエンジン。
- 前記バルブ組立体(50)が、前記ホイールスペース(42)内の状態に応答して前記バルブ部材(152)を作動させるように選択した材料特性を有する膨張要素(156)をさらに含む、請求項1記載のタービンエンジン。
- 前記状態が、温度である、請求項7記載のタービンエンジン。
- タービンエンジン用の冷却システムであって、
タービンエンジン(10)の圧縮機出口ディフューザ(44)からホイールスペース(42)へと延びる冷却空気通路(46)であって、圧縮機出口ディフューザ(44)によって部分的に画成される冷却空気通路(46)と、
圧縮機出口ディフューザ(44)の壁内に配置されたバルブ部材(52)を有しかつ前記ホイールスペース(42)内の状態に応答して該ホイールスペース(42)に冷却空気を流入させるように作動できるバルブ組立体(50)と
を備える冷却システム。 - 前記バルブ組立体(50)が、前記ホイールスペース(42)内の状態に応答して前記バルブ部材(152)を作動させるように選択した材料特性を有する膨張要素(156)をさらに含む、請求項9記載の冷却システム。
