Claims (5)
- プロバイダバックボーンブリッジによる仮想プライベートLANサービス(PBB−VPLS)ネットワーク内のデータパケットに関する転送規則を求める方法であって、
受信したデータパケットのバックボーンサービスインスタンス識別子(I−SID)フィールド内の値を検査すること、および
I−SID値に基づいてデータパケットに対応する仮想分割水平グループを求めることであって、それぞれの仮想分割水平グループが、PBB−VPLSネットワークの相異なる擬似ワイヤポート間のデータパケットに関する相異なるツリートポロジを有するユーザサービスブリッジドメインVPLSインスタンスの相異なる転送規則を定義すること
を含む、方法。 - データパケットに対応する仮想分割水平グループを求めるステップが、
I−SID値に基づいて動的分割水平グループテーブルに照会することであって、動的分割水平グループテーブルが、I−SID値によって特定されるユーザサービスブリッジドメインVPLSインスタンスと、仮想分割水平グループとの間の関係を記録すること
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - プロバイダバックボーンブリッジによる仮想プライベートLANサービス(PBB−VPLS)ネットワーク内のデータパケットに関する転送規則を求めるデバイスであって、
受信したデータパケットのバックボーンサービスインスタンス識別子(I−SID)フィールド内の値を検査する検査モジュールと、
I−SID値に基づいてデータパケットに対応する仮想分割水平グループを求める仮想分割水平グループ決定モジュールであって、それぞれの仮想分割水平グループが、PBB−VPLSネットワークの相異なる擬似ワイヤポート間のデータパケットに関する相異なるツリートポロジを有するユーザサービスブリッジドメインVPLSインスタンスの相異なる転送規則を定義する仮想分割水平グループ決定モジュールと
を備える、デバイス。 - 仮想分割水平グループ決定モジュールが、
I−SID値に基づいて動的分割水平グループテーブルに照会する照会ユニットであって、動的分割水平グループテーブルが、I−SID値によって特定されるユーザサービスブリッジドメインVPLSインスタンスと、仮想分割水平グループとの間の関係を記録する照会ユニット
を備える、請求項3に記載のデバイス。 - プロバイダバックボーンブリッジによる仮想プライベートLANサービス(PBB−VPLS)ネットワーク内で使用され、ネットワーク側に配置されるプロバイダエッジ機器であって、請求項3または4に記載のデータパケットに関する転送規則を求めるデバイスを備える、プロバイダエッジ機器。
