Description

The present invention relates to a system for coordinating the manufacture and sale of a spectacle frame having a rim for holding a lens, and a spectacle frame manufacturing method suitable for this system.

For example, a full-rim spectacle frame is formed by winding a rim wire into a pre-designed shape to form a rim, attaching parts such as bridges and brooches to the pair of left and right rims, polishing and plating, and then temples. Generally, it is manufactured through a process of attaching and assembling components such as a nose pad and the like.
A wide variety of spectacle frames are planned and designed every year according to the fashion and tastes of consumers, and spectacle frames with a predetermined design are manufactured based on a production plan that is planned in consideration of the number of sales.

The stores also arrange eyeglass frames with a wide variety of designs delivered from eyeglass frame manufacturers at the store, and consumers will find eyeglass frames (products) designed to suit their taste from a wide variety of designs. The current situation is to select and purchase.
However, in such a conventional spectacle frame manufacturing and sales form, a store or spectacle frame manufacturer must stock products of a wide variety of designs, which requires a lot of space for it, Currently, products with designs that deviate from consumer preferences and preferences remain in stock and are being forced to bear significant costs through low-cost sales and disposal.

For this reason, attempts have been made to make it possible to easily attach and detach each component and to support various glasses frames by diversifying the combination of components.

For example, Patent Documents 1, 2, and 3 propose spectacle frames in which a front and a temple provided with a rim can be easily attached and detached at a broach portion.
Patent Documents 4, 5, and 6 also include eyeglass frames in which not only temples but also rims, bridges, brooches, and other parts are connected by fitting or magnets instead of brazing, so that they can be easily attached and detached. Proposed.
Further, as in the spectacle frame described in Patent Document 6, there has also been proposed a rim that can be exchanged by engaging a nose leg having elasticity and a pin provided on the rim (for example, Patent Document 7). reference).
In addition, a resin frame has been proposed in which a rim having a predetermined shape is formed by cutting using a machine tool such as a machining center (see, for example, Patent Document 8).

The eyeglass frames described in these documents are intended to cope with the diversification of eyeglass frames by making each part detachable, reducing the number of inventories at dealers and eyeglass frame manufacturers, and designing for consumers. Certain effects such as widening the selection range can be obtained.
However, in the above-mentioned documents, as shown in Patent Documents 4 to 7, rims that can be exchanged are shown. However, rims of various shapes must be molded in advance and stocked as stock. The problem of having to do is still not solved. Further, although the technique described in Patent Document 8 can be applied to the formation of a resin rim, it is difficult to apply to a metal rim and requires an expensive automatic processing machine such as a machining center. On the contrary, there is a problem that the cost becomes high.

The present invention has been made to solve such problems, and a system for manufacturing and selling eyeglass frames that can cope with a reduction in the number of stocks of rims and an increase in the range of design choices for consumers, and this system.
According to the present invention, a rim according to an order from a customer or a dealer can be easily formed at a low cost from a common base rim, and the number of spectacle frames in stock at a spectacle frame manufacturer or dealer can be greatly reduced. Can do.
Further, in the manufacturing method of the present invention, by disposing bridges and broaches on a straight line passing through the center of the base rim, it is possible to minimize these positional deviations at the time of molding, from the base rim to the rim having a predetermined shape. Can be easily formed.
The present invention can also be applied to molding the base rim into a rim having optimal wearability for the customer in accordance with individual customer differences such as face size and eye spacing.

A preferred embodiment of the spectacle frame manufacturing method of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a flowchart showing an embodiment of the eyeglass frame manufacturing / sales cooperation system of the present invention.

[Manufacture of eyeglass frames with base rims]
At the store (step I in the figure), an order for a desired rim shape is received from the customer (step S11), order information including the rim shape is created and transmitted to the spectacle frame manufacturer (step S12). Order information can be created using an electronic device such as a PC, and order information can be sent using a communication means such as FAX or E-mail.
A spectacle frame manufacturer (step II in the figure) forms a base rim having a predetermined shape in advance. This base rim is a base for forming a rim having a shape according to the order information by applying a pressing force of a predetermined size to a predetermined position. It can be formed by winding. The material and the shape of the bean are the same as the conventional rim.

FIG. 3 shows an example of the shape of the base rim. Several basic shapes of the base rim 1 may be prepared in accordance with the shape of the rim to be molded.
For example, in order to form a rim having a strong round shape such as an elliptical shape, the use of a round base rim 1 such as an elliptical shape or a circular shape as shown in FIGS. Further, for example, in order to form a square rim such as a quadrangle or a hexagon, a base rim 1 having a square shape as shown in FIG.

Then, as shown in FIG. 4, the left and right base rims 1 and 1 are connected by a bridge 3, and the broach 2 is attached to both ends of the left and right base rims 1 and 1, and the necessary polishing and plating are performed to provide a spectacle frame having the base rim 1. Is formed (step S21). In addition to the bridge 3 and the broach 2, a nose leg or temple may be attached. Moreover, you may attach a nose pad and modern.
The connecting portion between the base rim 1 and the bridge 3 or broach 2 is preferably arranged on a center line C passing through the centers O and O of the base rims 1 and 1. By doing so, it is possible to minimize the change in the position of the bridge 3 or the broach 2 in the process of applying a pressing force from the periphery of the base rim 1 to deform the base rim 1 and forming the rim into a predetermined shape. There is an advantage.

When order information is received from the store (step S22), the spectacle frame maker forms base rim molding data from the rim shape information included in the order information.
This molding data can be created based on past experience values and actual measurement data to determine how much pressing force should be applied to which part of the base rim 1. Moreover, what is necessary is just to make it act on the site | part which needs a bending process partially in the direction opposite to the provision direction of the pressing force P, for example using the abutting die 6 as shown in figure.
By associating these data with the base rim and the shape of the rim after molding and creating a manual or database, it is possible to mold a rim having a predetermined shape from the base rim without being an expert.

It is also possible to mechanize or automate the molding by creating a database.
For example, as shown in FIG. 6, a pin-shaped or bar-shaped pressing die 5 is arranged according to the position of the pressing force P applied to the base rim 1, and the pressing force P based on the molding data is applied to each pressing die 5. To do. The pressing die 5 may be formed of metal, but may be formed of a relatively soft material such as resin or wood.
The application of the pressing force P to the pressing die 5 can be performed using a fluid pressure cylinder using air or hydraulic oil, in addition to the spiral mechanism.

After the base rim 1 is formed into the rim 1 ′ having a predetermined shape by the above procedure, after finishing, the finished product is shipped to the store as a finished product (steps S24 and S25).
FIG. 7 is a diagram showing an example of a spectacle frame having a rim 1 ′ that can be molded from the base rim 1 of FIG. 3. In this way, it is possible to form rims 1 ′ having various shapes from one or several types of base rims 1.
In the store that has received the finished product, the entire process is completed by delivering the product to the customer (steps S13 and S14).

In addition, as described above, the base rim 1 can be molded even at a store by creating a manual or database of the process of molding the base rim 1 into the rim 1 ′ having a predetermined shape.
In this case, as shown in FIG. 2, the dealer has a spectacle frame having one or more types of base rims 1 in advance (including all parts necessary for the finished product, and polishing, plating, finishing, etc.). (Completed) is purchased (step S10), an order is received from the customer (step S11), and data necessary for molding the base rim is immediately created (step S23). Then, the base rim is molded and finished in the dealer (step S24). As a result, it is possible to greatly shorten the time from order receipt to customer delivery (step S14), and it is possible to push out new services that are not available at other stores to the front and expand the business. Become.

Although a preferred embodiment of the present invention has been described, the present invention is not limited to the above description. For example, the spectacle frame to which the present invention is applicable is not limited to a full rim type, but includes a half rim type. In addition, the present invention can be applied not only to a metal rim but also to a resin rim. In this case, heating may be performed together with a pressing force.
