ボックス状の本体と、該本体の外面から突出する車体係止用のクランプ部と、前記本体に設けたバンド貫通穴の一側開口の端縁から延在するバンド部を備えた樹脂成形品からなり、前記バンド部に連続的に係止溝を設けていると共に、前記バンド貫通穴を囲む周壁内面から係止片を突設し、前記バンド部を電線群に巻き付けて前記バンド貫通穴に挿通して引っ張り、該バンド部の係止溝に前記係止片を選択的に係止して締結し、該締結後に貫通穴から引き出された前記バンド部の余剰部分を切断するワイヤハーネス用バンドクランプであって、
前記バンド部の幅方向の両側端縁に沿って、1/4円弧リブを長さ方向に連続して設け、該1/4円弧リブはバンド部の引出側先端に向けた面を真円または楕円の1/4円弧にすると共に反対側は直線面とし、
前記ワイヤハーネスに巻き付けて締結される前記バンド部は、その前記余剰部分が幅方向に真っすぐに切断された状態あるいは幅方向に対して斜め方向に切断された状態のいずれでも、該バンド部の切断端面の幅方向の両端隅部において切断線と切断端の接線が成す角度θ1、θ2は90度を越える円弧となりエッジが発生しないことを特徴とするワイヤハーネス用バンドクランプ。
