Description
The present invention relates to a security technology for a battery that can be connected to and detached from a load device.
For example, a battery such as a lithium ion battery is connected to a load device such as an electric motorcycle. The battery can be connected to and detached from the load device and is charged by a charger. A load such as a traveling motor provided in the load device consumes battery power. The load device is mounted with a battery management device that manages the battery.
In
In
If identification information is attached to each of the battery and the load device as in
An object of the present invention is to prevent the battery from being illegally removed and stolen from the load device, and to improve the security of the battery.
A battery management device according to the present invention is a battery management device mounted on a load device that can be connected to and detached from a battery, and receives a signal indicating that the user of the load device has been authenticated. A battery connection detection unit for detecting that the battery is connected to the load device; and a fixing / releasing command for fixing the battery to the load device and transmitting a fixing / releasing command to the battery fixing / releasing mechanism for releasing the fixing. A release instruction unit, a battery fixation release instructing unit for instructing battery release, a reading unit for reading first identification information stored in a first storage unit provided in the battery, and a first identification from the first storage unit An erasing unit that erases information; and a power supply control unit that controls power supply of the battery to a load provided in the load device. Then, in a state where the battery is fixed by the battery fixing / release mechanism, the user authentication signal receiving unit receives a signal indicating that the user has been authenticated, and the battery fixing release instruction unit instructs the battery fixing release. In this case, after the first identification information is erased by the erasing unit, a command to release the battery is transmitted to the battery fixing / release mechanism by the fixing / release command unit.
According to the above, the first identification information is erased from the first storage unit of the battery and the battery is released only when the user is authenticated and the battery release is instructed. For this reason, it can prevent that the battery is illegally removed from the load device and stolen by an unauthorized person. Further, when a person who is not authenticated forcibly removes the battery from the load device, the first identification information remains stored in the first storage unit of the battery. For this reason, it is possible to identify the battery that has been illegally removed and stolen by the first identification information, and to prevent unauthorized use of the stolen battery. Therefore, it becomes possible to improve the crime prevention property of the battery.
In the present invention, in the battery management device, when the battery connection detection unit detects the connection of the battery, the reading unit reads the first identification information, and the first storage unit stores the first identification information. If not, the power supply control unit may supply battery power to the load.
In the present invention, the battery management device further includes a second storage unit that stores the second identification information, and a writing unit that writes the second identification information in the first storage unit, and the battery connection detection unit causes the battery to be And the first identification information stored in the second storage unit is stored in the first storage unit by the writing unit when the first identification information is not stored in the first storage unit of the battery. You may write.
In the present invention, the battery management device further includes a determination unit that determines whether the first identification information read by the reading unit matches the second identification information stored in the second storage unit. When the determination unit determines that the first and second identification information match, the power supply control unit supplies the battery power to the load, and the determination unit matches the first and second identification information. If it is determined that the battery power is not, the power supply control unit may not supply battery power to the load.

Thereafter, the
On the other hand, when there is no instruction for releasing the fixation of the battery 10 (step S11: NO), or even if there is an instruction for releasing the fixation of the
According to the embodiment, the load fixing device 200 is used by the battery fixing /
Further, before the
For this reason, the user can own a plurality of
On the other hand, when a person who is not authenticated by the
Further, it is assumed that an unauthenticated person connects the
Therefore, it becomes possible to improve the crime prevention property and usability of the
Further, when the connection of the
Further, when the ID of the
The present invention can employ various embodiments other than those described above. For example, in the above embodiment, the example using the battery fixing / releasing
In the embodiment of FIG. 3, the example in which the
In the embodiment of FIG. 4, an example is shown in which it is confirmed that the user authentication is completed after receiving the instruction to release the fixation of the
