Description
ヒツジ、ウシのほかヤギ、ブタ、ウマ等の動物における外部寄生虫を制御するためには、1つまたはそれ以上の有効成分を含むポアオン(pour−on)製剤を外用剤として局部に使用するのが一般的である。ポアオン製剤は典型的には液体で、通常、動物の外部にライン状またはスポット状に付けるものであり、このとき、シラミ、シラミバエ、ダニ、マダニ、ハエ等の外部寄生虫から動物の外部表面を保護するように働く。ポアオン製剤を外用剤として局部に付けると、有効成分が動物の表面上に広がり、外部表面領域全体を保護するのが理想的である。
本発明は、各々有効量のアミトラズと少なくとも1つのさらなる寄生虫駆除化合物と活性ヒドロキシル基を含まない担体系とを含む、安定した抗寄生虫の、非水性ポアオン組成物を提供する。好ましくは、さらなる寄生虫駆除化合物は大環状ラクトン、より具体的には、モキシデクチンである。より具体的な一実施形態では、組成物は安定剤を含む。
水、アルコール、グリコール等の活性ヒドロキシル基を含む高極性の担体は、動物の皮膚、皮、および/または毛との適合性があり、比較的高濃度で有効成分を溶解させることができるため、ポアオン組成物の調製によく利用される。アミトラズは他の寄生中駆除活性物に耐性をもつマダニを含む多種多様なマダニに対して、有効であり、かつ活性が持続するため、有効成分の1つとしてアミトラズを含む外用の獣医用組成物は非常に望ましい。アミトラズは活性ヒドロキシル基を含む担体または賦形剤の存在下において不安定なため、これまで、アミトラズおよびさらなる寄生虫駆除化合物を含む獣医用組成物は、限られていた。
(a)組成物が大環状ラクトンを含むか;または、(b)前記ヒドロキシル基非含有溶媒が
約5%〜約20%w/vの芳香族溶媒;
約10%〜約75%w/vのカプリル酸/カプリン酸トリグリセリドまたは鉱物油、あるいはそれらの組み合わせ;および
0%〜約15%w/vのミリスチン酸イソプロピルを含む。

(d)約5%〜約20%w/vの芳香族溶媒;
(e)約10〜約75%w/vのカプリル酸/カプリン酸トリグリセリドまたは鉱物油、あるいはそれらの組み合わせ;および
(f)約0%〜約15%w/vのミリスチン酸イソプロピル
を含む獣医用寄生虫駆除組成物を提供する。
(a)約1%〜約5%w/vのアミトラズ;
(b)約0.1%〜約15%w/vの安定剤;
(c)約5%〜約20%w/vの芳香族溶媒;
(d)約10%〜約75%w/vのカプリル酸/カプリン酸トリグリセリドまたは鉱物油、あるいはそれらの組み合わせ;および
(e)約2%〜約15%w/vのミリスチン酸イソプロピル
を含む獣医用寄生虫駆除組成物を提供する。

用語「担体」は、担体混合物、つまり1つ以上の物質の混合物を含めるよう、本明細書および特許請求の範囲の全体にわたって使用される。

この評価では、実施例2および実施例3で調製された試験組成物を、25℃および50℃で8週間保管した。サンプルの%活性について、一定の間隔で時間0と比較して分析した。結果を以下の表Iに示す。

この評価では、実施例2および実施例3で調製された試験組成物を、25℃および相対湿度60%、ならびに40℃および相対湿度20%で26週間保管した。サンプルの%活性について、一定の間隔で時間0と比較して分析した。結果を以下の表IIに示す。

試験組成物の効力評価
A.この評価では、51頭のウシのグループから8頭を選び、Ixodes Holocyclus(麻痺ダニ)を寄生させた。グループ1のウシに偽薬処置し、陰性対照として用いた。0日目に、処置群に対して、実施例6Aの製剤を10kgにつき1mLの用量で与えた。製剤は、尾の付け根からき甲部に向けて局所投与された。次いでマダニを動物に、7、14、21、および28日目に付けた。マダニの数を、処理後の3日間のほか、再寄生後の3日間、毎日数えた。マダニを生存度(健康に生存/病気/死)によって評価した。ダニ麻痺症の可能性を低減するために、マダニを3日後に取り除いた。製剤6Aを与えたグループは、処置の72時間後では85.7%のダニ効力を有していた。7日目および14日目に付着させたマダニに対しては、完全な効能(100%)が得られた。効力は、21日目に付着させたマダニに対して79%まで、28日目に付着させたマダニに対しては50%まで減少した。
Claims (25)
- ヒドロキシル非含有溶媒;アミトラズ;モキシデクチン;及び任意に安定剤を含む獣医用寄生虫駆除組成物であって、前記ヒドロキシル非含有溶媒が、5%〜20%w/vの芳香族溶媒;10%〜75%w/vのカプリル酸/カプリン酸トリグリセリドもしくは鉱物油、またはそれらの組み合わせ;および1%〜15%w/vのミリスチン酸イソプロピルを含み、ただし該組成物はヒドロキシル基含有溶媒を1%w/v未満であり実質的に含まない、組成物。
- 0.1%〜3%w/vのモキシデクチンを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- モキシデクチンが0.1%〜1%w/vで存在する、請求項2に記載の組成物。
- さらに1%〜5%w/vの安定剤を含み、任意に、5%〜15%w/vのセチルオクトネートを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記安定剤がビス−2,6−ジイソプロピルフェニルカルボジイミドである、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 1%〜5%w/vのアミトラズを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 1%〜3%w/vのアミトラズを含む、請求項6に記載の組成物。
- 10%w/vのミリスチン酸イソプロピルを含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記芳香族溶媒がC7〜C12アリールアルカンからなる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記芳香族溶媒が12%〜18%w/vで存在する、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記カプリル酸/カプリン酸トリグリセリドもしくは鉱物油、またはそれらの組み合わせが、25%〜65%w/vで存在する、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- カプリル酸/カプリン酸トリグリセリドが25%〜65%w/vで存在する、請求項11に記載の組成物。
- 0.5%w/v未満の水を含む、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 粘度調整剤をさらに含む、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記粘度調整剤がポリブテンポリマーである、請求項14に記載の組成物。

(h)5〜15%w/vのセチルオクトネートを含む獣医用寄生虫駆除組成物であって、ただし該組成物はヒドロキシル基含有溶媒を1%w/v未満であり実質的に含まない、獣医用寄生虫駆除組成物。 - 安定剤が1%w/vであり、ミリスチン酸イソプロピルが10%w/vであり、粘度調整剤がポリブテンポリマーである、請求項18に記載の獣医用寄生虫駆除組成物。
- 恒温動物における寄生虫感染もしくは寄生虫寄生の処置または制御のための請求項1〜19のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記動物に局所投与される、請求項20に記載の組成物。
- ポアオン溶液である、請求項20または21に記載の組成物。
- 前記動物がブタ、ウシ、ウマおよびヒツジからなる群から選択される、請求項20〜22のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
