Description
The present invention relates to a digital panel meter .
More specifically, the present invention relates to a digital panel meter that displays digital values after digital processing of analog signals and / or pulse signals.
Digital panel meters conforming to the DIN standard are frequently used in manufacturing sites such as factories and various measurement sites.
The 48mm x 96mm class digital panel meters used so far, even those using 7-segment LEDs or liquid crystals, are those with a fixed number of digits, and their fonts are constant, so the meaning of the display is expressed in various ways. There were only things that could not be done. For this reason, it has been difficult to properly display various input signal states.
For example, it is assumed that there are two input signals, one signal is a voltage, and the other signal is a count value. The voltage signal does not need to take into account a large number of digits including the decimal point due to the accuracy, but the signal for counting purposes does not need to display the numerical value after the decimal point, but the number of digits is not limited. is there. In the case of such a combination of signals, it is possible that the number of digits of the numerical value that must be displayed is significantly different. Not only that, in the case of counting applications, in addition to changing the display color for the display when the target penalty value is exceeded, various expressions can be made to change the font freely and call attention. There wasn't.
Even if only focusing on the number of digits, in the case of a fixed number of digits, if the product specifications of the digital panel meter are adjusted to a small number of display digits, a problem that a number with a large number of display digits cannot be displayed correctly occurs.
On the other hand, if the product specifications of the digital panel meter are adjusted to a large number of display digits, the number will be smaller than necessary even for applications with a small number of required digits when displaying a small number of display digits. This causes a malfunction.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a digital panel meter that solves such problems and can display numerical values to be displayed in an appropriate display state.

このシリアルバス207は例えば周知のI2C(I-Square C: Inter-Integrated Circuit)である。

The “decimal display font” field describes the name of a font used when a font displayed in the decimal part described later is displayed in a font smaller than the font displayed in the integer part.

The font data field stores actual font data. In the case of this embodiment, it is bitmap data of numerals, alphabets, minus, periods, and commas.
Instead of providing the font data field, each font may be prepared as an independent file. The font is not necessarily a bitmap font, and may be a vector font.

In particular, the digital panel meter 101 of the present embodiment has a dedicated
This is advantageous in that it is not necessary to include considerations such as distinguishing the number of digits depending on whether or not a decimal point is included in the flowchart described later.

If the current font size cannot be displayed in step S904 (YES in S904), the

If the current font size is not the minimum value (NO in S908), the current font size is changed to a size one rank lower (S909).
If the current font size is the minimum value (YES in S908), the font size cannot be reduced any further. Therefore, it is confirmed whether or not the current number of display lines is not the maximum value (S910). If the current number of display lines is not the maximum value (YES in S910), one display line is added (S911), and the display width is calculated again (S903).

If the current number of lines is not the maximum value (NO in S913), the current number of lines is increased by 1 (S911).
If the current number of lines is the maximum value (YES in S913), the number of lines cannot be increased any more. Therefore, it is confirmed whether or not the current font is not the minimum (S914).
The digital panel meter 101 according to the present embodiment described so far is provided with the following setting values for changing the operation state of each functional block with respect to the display of the measurement values, and is stored in the
Unit conversion unit 302: Unit conversion constant, unit display Rounding processing unit 304: Decimal part significant digits, rounding down / rounding up / rounding off Font selection unit 307: default font, single value display mode / binary display mode / quaternary display mode / 10-value display mode, fractional font reduction,
Display content creation unit 306: Addition of commas, normal display color, threshold, threshold display color, font type, font design Display control unit 309: Presence or absence of video overlap
The digital panel meter 101 according to the present embodiment has various display functions in addition to the font size changing process described above.
(1) As described above, as one of the display functions, a function for displaying a font displayed in the decimal part with a font smaller than a font displayed in the integer part is provided.
FIG. 10 is a diagram showing a display state of the color LCD 107 when the display font of the decimal part is reduced. In FIG. 10, the font of the integer part is “120 * 60” font having 6 displayable digits, but the font of the decimal part is “80 *” in the “decimal display font” field of the font table 308 of FIG. 40 "font is used. For this reason, the number of digits displayed in the decimal part is increased by one.
(2) The display color and background color for numerical display can be freely set using the function of the
FIGS. 11A and 11B are diagrams for explaining how the display state is different before and after the measured value exceeds the threshold value.
In FIG. 11A, the measured value is “123455” that does not exceed the threshold value “123455” set in advance, so that a black font is displayed on a white background.
In FIG. 11B, since the measured value exceeds “123456” with respect to the preset threshold value “123455”, a white font is displayed on a blue background.
As described above, the digital panel meter 101 according to the present embodiment can clearly represent not only the numerical value display but also the state with respect to the threshold value.
(3) By storing the predetermined multiplication value and the character of the unit to be displayed in the
FIGS. 12A, 12B, 12C, and 12D are diagrams illustrating a state in which the same input data is converted and displayed in different units and displayed.

Further, when the
These conversion processes may be stored in the ROM in advance, or an arbitrary conversion coefficient and a character to be displayed can be set.
Further, this embodiment can be applied as follows.
(4) In FIGS. 11A and 11B, it is possible not only to change the display color of the font and the background, but also to change the font design with the threshold as a boundary. For example, when the threshold value is exceeded, change the font decoration, such as italic, bold, or white, or change the font itself from Gothic to Mincho, for example. It is also possible to change the type.
(5) It is also conceivable to execute multi-value display in a time division manner. For example, the first input data and the second input data are alternately displayed on the color LCD 107 every second. Since the display state is a single value display mode while being multi-value display, it is excellent in terms of the number of display digits and visibility. In this case, in order to distinguish the type of value to be displayed, it is desirable to change the background color, font color, or font design as in the case of FIG.
