(f)合計で0重量%〜約0.5重量%の消泡剤、染料及び金属不活性化剤のうちの1以上、及び
(g)約25重量%〜約50重量%の水
を含む、水−グリコール系作動液を提供することである。

本発明の作動液は、食品関連用途を含む様々な実用的用途に使用するのに適している。本発明の水−グリコール系作動液は、これらの作動液の使用に起因する曝された金属表面の蒸気相腐食を阻害、遅延及び/又は防止する。
Claims (14)
- (a)25重量%〜50重量%のグリコール、
(b)0.5重量%〜8重量%の部分的に中和された脂肪族C6−C16カルボン酸、
(c)15重量%〜40重量%のポリアルキレングリコール、
(d)炭酸アンモニウム、水酸化アンモニウム、酢酸アンモニウム、および、これらの混合物からなるグループから選択される0.05重量%〜1重量%のアンモニウム塩、
(e)20ml以上の予備アルカリ度とするのに十分な量の炭酸ナトリウムまたは重炭酸ナトリウム、および
(f)25重量%〜50重量%の水、を含むことを特徴とする作動液。 - 前記グリコールが、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ブチレングリコール、ペンチレングリコール、ヘキシレングリコール、ジエチレングリコール、ジプロピレングリコール、ジヘキシレングリコール、トリエチレングリコール、トリプロピレングリコール、トリヘキシレングリコール、および、これらの混合物からなるグループから選択される請求項1に記載の作動液。
- 前記C6−C16カルボン酸が、ヘキサン酸、ヘプタン酸、オクタン酸、ノナン酸、デカン酸、ラウリン酸、ウンデカン酸、ミリスチン酸、ペンタデカン酸、パルミチン酸、トリデカン酸、2−エチルヘキサン酸、2−プロピルヘキサン酸、および、これらの混合物からなるグループから選択される請求項1または2に記載の作動液。
- 前記C6−C16カルボン酸の50%以上100%未満が中和されている請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の作動液。
- 前記ポリアルキレングリコールが、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコール、エチレンオキシド−プロピレンオキシド共重合体、および、これらの混合物からなるグループから選択される請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の作動液。
- 前記ポリアルキレングリコールが、5,000以上かつ200,000以下の分子量を有する請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の作動液。
- 前記ポリアルキレングリコールが、メチル−オキシランポリマーを含む請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の作動液。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の作動液に圧力を加える工程を含む、ことを特徴とする動力を伝達する方法。
- 食品加工設備、食品調理設備、または、食品提供設備において、動力を伝達するために利用される請求項8に記載の方法。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の作動液に圧力を加える工程を含む、ことを特徴とする荷を運搬する方法。
- 食品加工設備、食品調理設備、または、食品提供設備において、荷を運搬するために利用される請求項10に記載の方法。
- 曝された金属表面での作動液に起因する蒸気相腐食を阻害、遅延、または防止する方法であって、水−グリコール系作動液に有効量のアンモニウム塩を含ませる工程を含む、ことを特徴とする方法。
- 前記水−グリコール系作動液が、0.5重量%〜1重量%のアンモニウム塩を含む請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記水−グリコール系作動液が、
(a)25重量%〜50重量%のグリコール、
(b)0.5重量%〜8重量%の部分的に中和された脂肪族C6−C16カルボン酸、
(c)15重量%〜40重量%のポリアルキレングリコール、
(d)炭酸アンモニウム、水酸化アンモニウム、酢酸アンモニウム、および、これらの混合物からなるグループから選択される0.05重量%〜1重量%のアンモニウム塩、
(e)20ml以上の予備アルカリ度とするのに十分な量の炭酸ナトリウムまたは重炭酸ナトリウム、および
(f)25重量%〜50重量%の水、を含む請求項12に記載の方法。
