Description
The present invention relates to a lubricant composition for bottle conveyors that can significantly reduce the amount of lubricant used by intermittently supplying the lubricant.
Plastic containers such as polyethylene terephthalate, paper containers, metal containers, glass and ceramic containers, etc. are used for containers such as soft drinks, milk, juice, alcoholic beverages, and drinks. When handling containers, a bottle conveyor is generally used to move and convey a large number of containers. In such a factory, it is common to operate the bottle conveyor continuously. At this time, the container may fall over due to friction generated on the contact surface between the container and the bottle conveyor. In order to reduce the friction coefficient, an aqueous surfactant solution is generally used as a lubricant on a container or a bottle conveyor (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
A lubricant for a bottle conveyor is generally used in a state where a diluted solution diluted with a large amount of water is always sprayed, and a general lubricant does not function as a lubricant when spraying is stopped. Therefore, a tank for storing a large amount of lubricant, recovery and disposal of the lubricant after use, and the like are necessary, which is a heavy burden on the user.
In order to reduce the burden on the user, it is necessary to reduce the amount of lubricant and dilution water used. Therefore, a type that is not diluted with water or a lubricant with a low dilution rate with water is known (see, for example, Patent Document 2). The purpose of these lubricants is to spray a high-concentration lubricant onto the bottle conveyor to reduce the amount of lubricant used as much as possible, but basically the lubricant must be sprayed continuously. The reduction in usage was not so much desired. In addition, there is a method of intermittent spraying to reduce the amount of lubricant used, but even if it is a high concentration lubricant, if it is not sprayed for a long time, the lubricity on the bottle conveyor will be Therefore, the time that the lubricant does not have to be sprayed is very short, and intermittent spraying that can reduce the amount of lubricant used cannot be performed.
Therefore, the problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a lubricant composition for bottle conveyors that can reduce the amount of lubricant used and a method for using the same.

(Wherein m represents a number of 3 to 1000), 100 parts by mass of one or more compounds selected from polyethylene glycol represented by the following general formula (B) 2)
R- (OA) n -OH (2)
(In the formula, R represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms, n represents a number of 3 to 50, and A represents an alkylene group of 2 to 4 carbon atoms, provided that n number of A 50 mol% or more must be an ethylene group.) 1 to 200 parts by mass of a nonionic surfactant represented by the formula (1), and 5 parts by mass or more of an anionic surfactant. Agent composition.

H- (OC 2 H 4) m -OH (1)
(In the formula, m represents a number of 3 to 1000.)
Examples of salts used for DL-pyrrolidone carboxylate, glycolate and lactate include alkali metal salts such as sodium salt and potassium salt; alkaline earth metal salts such as magnesium salt and calcium salt. Among these salts, alkali metal salts are preferable and sodium salts are more preferable because they are suitable for intermittent spraying. In addition, the detailed description about the effect of these components with respect to intermittent spraying is mentioned later.
The molecular weight of polyethylene glycol as component (A) may be any molecular weight as long as the value of m is a number from 3 to 1000, but since the lubricity and sprayability are good, the value of m is 3-500 are preferable, 3-100 are more preferable, 3-50 are still more preferable, and 3-10 are the most preferable. When the value of m is less than 3, good lubricity cannot be obtained, and when the value of m is more than 1000, the viscosity when dissolved in water increases, making it difficult to handle or spraying during use. Etc. may not work well. (A) A component may use 1 type of the compound quoted above, or may use 2 or more types of mixtures.
The component (B) of the present invention is represented by the following general formula (2).
R- (OA) n -OH (2)
(In the formula, R represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms, n represents a number of 3 to 50, and A represents an alkylene group of 2 to 4 carbon atoms, provided that n number of A 50 mol% or more must be ethylene group.)
R in the general formula (2) represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms. Examples of such hydrocarbon groups include linear and branched octyl groups, 2-ethylhexyl groups, secondary octyl groups, Linear and branched nonyl groups, secondary nonyl groups, linear and branched decyl groups, secondary decyl groups, linear and branched undecyl groups, secondary undecyl groups, linear and branched dodecyl groups, secondary dodecyl groups Group, linear and branched tridecyl group, secondary tridecyl group, linear and branched tetradecyl group, secondary tetradecyl group, linear and branched hexadecyl group, secondary hexadecyl group, linear and branched stearyl group, 2 -Butyl octyl group, 2-butyl decyl group, 2-hexyl octyl group, 2-hexyl decyl group, 2-octyl decyl group, 2-hexyl decyl group, monomethyl branched-isostearyl group, etc. Alkyl group; octenyl group, nonenyl group, decenyl group, undecenyl group, dodecenyl group, tetradecenyl group, and an alkenyl group such as oleyl group. Among these, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 10 to 16 carbon atoms is preferable and an alkyl group having 10 to 16 carbon atoms is more preferable because it is excellent in the effect of uniformly holding the lubricant on the bottle conveyor. The effect of holding the lubricant uniformly on the bottle conveyor will be described in detail below.
A in the general formula (2) is an alkylene group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms, and examples thereof include an ethylene group, a propylene group, an isopropylene group, a butylene group, and an isobutylene group.
The compound represented by the general formula (2) is obtained by adding alkylene oxide to the above monovalent organic hydroxy compound, but the polymerization form is not particularly limited, and ethylene oxide homopolymerization, ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, Random copolymerization, block copolymerization, random / block copolymerization, and the like. What is necessary is just to adjust the compounding ratio of ethylene oxide so that the ratio of the oxyethylene group to the polyoxyalkylene group of the compound represented by the general formula (2) may be 50 to 100 mol%, preferably 60 to 95 mol%. 65 to 90 mol% is more preferable. When the proportion of oxyethylene groups is less than 50 mol%, lubricity may be insufficient or product stability may be unstable. If the ratio of oxyethylene groups exceeds 95 mol%, foaming during use becomes large and continuous use for a long time becomes difficult. If the print printed on the container drops off, the wettability decreases. In some cases, the lubricant cannot be evenly applied, or there may be a problem that the lubricity performance deteriorates when mixed with water.
Since it adversely affects the durability of the lubricating performance of the lubricant composition for bottle conveyors of the present invention, the amount of the anionic surfactant is limited. In the lubricant composition for a bottle conveyor of the present invention, the component (B) is 1 to 200 parts by weight, preferably 2 to 100 parts by weight, more preferably 5 to 50 parts by weight, with respect to 100 parts by weight of the component (A). Contains. If the blending amount of the component (B) is too small, the wettability on the conveyor may be deteriorated. If the blending amount of the component (B) is too large, bubbles may be generated on the bottle conveyor, or the lubricity is insufficient. There is a case.
As an actual blending amount, it is preferable to blend 0.2 to 30% by mass of component (A) and 0.05 to 10% by mass of component (B) using water as a solvent. The higher the concentration, the lower the transportation cost. Therefore, when transporting the product, the component (A) is 5 to 30% by mass, preferably 10 to 30% by mass, and the component (B) is 1 to 10% by mass, preferably 3 What is necessary is just to adjust to 10 mass% aqueous solution. Moreover, when using for a bottle conveyor, (A) component is 0.2-5 mass%, Preferably it is 0.2-2 mass%, (B) component is 0.05-2 mass%, Preferably it is 0.05. What is necessary is just to adjust to -1 mass% aqueous solution. As adjustment at the time of use, it is preferable to dilute a high concentration lubricant composition with water 1 to 50 times.
The method of using the lubricant composition for bottle conveyors of the present invention may be applied or sprayed uniformly on the bottle conveyor in which the containers are flowing, but in order to reduce the amount of lubricant used, the lubricant is intermittently used. Is preferably sprayed. As specific spraying and time for stopping the spraying, for example, after spraying the lubricant for 1 to 300 seconds, the spraying may be stopped for 300 to 7200 seconds, and preferably the time for stopping the spraying is 600 to 7200. Seconds, more preferably 1200 to 7200 seconds, and even more preferably 2000 to 7200 seconds. The longer the time during which spraying is stopped, the more the amount of lubricant used can be reduced, and the time during which spraying is stopped. If it is short, it becomes difficult to reduce the amount of lubricant used. Further, the time during which the spraying of the lubricant is stopped is preferably 10 to 200 times the spraying time of the lubricant. The greatest feature of the lubricant composition for bottle conveyors of the present invention is that the time during which spraying of the lubricant can be stopped can be lengthened.
The transported material is not particularly defined as long as it is used on a bottle conveyor, but a beverage container is preferable. Examples of the material of such a container include polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene. Made of plastic, polyamide, polycarbonate, etc .; paper containers (including wax finish and resin coating); metal containers such as iron, aluminum, tin, copper, zinc, or composite materials thereof; Glass containers; ceramic containers and the like. Among these containers, since the effect of the present invention is remarkably exhibited, plastic products are preferable, and use in PET containers is more preferable.
Here, the effects of the component (A) and the component (B) that can be used in the present invention will be described in more detail. Conventional lubricant compositions for bottle conveyors are usually sprayed continuously on bottle conveyors. The reason for spraying continuously is that the lubricity is lost as soon as spraying is stopped. Therefore, in order to realize an intermittent spray lubrication system, it is necessary to maintain lubricity even when spraying is stopped for a long time. There are many compounds that can achieve lubricity. For example, propylene glycol or dipropylene glycol cannot maintain lubricity for a long time, and glycerin or the like can maintain lubricity for a long time, but the lubricity is poor (the coefficient of friction is low). Too). The component (A) of the present invention does not have such disadvantages and can maintain a preferable lubricity for a long time.
However, even when the mixture of the component (A) and water is sprayed evenly on the bottle conveyor, when the spraying is stopped, the lubricant on the bottle conveyor is distorted, and the lubricant is evenly distributed on the bottle conveyor. It cannot be held. Therefore, with the component (A) and water alone, a location where the lubricant does not adhere to the bottle conveyor (location where the lubricity is lost) is formed. Of course, such locations are not lubricious, resulting in problems during operation of the bottle conveyor. In order to solve this problem, the component (B) is blended. Although it is known that the component (B) generally shows performance as a lubricant, the component (B) in the present invention does not hinder the lubricity of the component (A), and further on the bottle conveyor. (A) It mix | blends in order to disperse | distribute a component uniformly for a long time.
Many surfactants have a performance as a dispersant, but even if an anionic surfactant is used instead of the component (B), the component (A) cannot be uniformly held on the bottle conveyor. . In addition, anionic surfactants may cause foaming on bottle conveyors, and may cause soiling of calcium soap, etc. due to reaction with a small amount of calcium in water, resulting in poor lubricity. There is also. When an anionic surfactant is added to the lubricant composition for bottle conveyors of the present invention, the above-mentioned adverse effect appears remarkably, so the addition amount of the anionic surfactant must be limited. Further, when a nonionic surfactant, a cationic surfactant, or an amphoteric surfactant other than the component (B) is used instead of the component (B), the lubricity may be deteriorated or the lubricity may be maintained for a long time. Since it may not be possible, these cannot be used as component (B). However, even when a nonionic surfactant, a cationic surfactant, or an amphoteric surfactant other than the component (B) is added to the lubricant composition for bottle conveyors of the present invention, it is not as bad as an anionic surfactant. Therefore, nonionic surfactants other than the component (B), cationic surfactants, and amphoteric surfactants can be added to the lubricant composition for bottle conveyors of the present invention.

Using the above compounds, lubricants for bottle conveyors were prepared with the formulations described in Tables 1 to 4, and the following tests were performed. The results are shown in Tables 1 to 4.
(1) Lubrication test Immediately after placing a container made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) having a square bottom and a volume of 500 ml and spraying a lubricant at a rate of 60 ml / min for 30 seconds on a resin conveyor at a bottle conveyor speed of 30 m / min. The coefficient of friction (immediately after adhesion), the coefficient of friction at the time of drying 10 minutes after the end of spraying and 60 minutes after the end of spraying (after drying) were measured. The friction coefficient is calculated from the following calculation formula by connecting a PET container and a load measuring device, measuring a tensile load value during operation of the conveyor.
Coefficient of friction (μ) = tensile load (g) / PET container weight (g)
Lubricity evaluation method-: Friction coefficient (μ) = less than 0.08 (cannot be controlled due to slipping too much)
○: Friction coefficient (μ) = 0.08 or more and less than 0.10 (good sliding)
Δ: Friction coefficient (μ) = 0.10 or more and less than 0.12 (Friction coefficient is slightly high, but can be used)
×: Friction coefficient (μ) = 0.12 or more (slipper is bad and cannot be used)
