Description

The present invention relates to an integrated Western-style toilet equipped with a rotatable urinal, and more particularly, to save water, a rotatable male urinal is separately installed in a flush-type toilet. It relates to a Western style toilet.

Only 0.3% of the water that exists on Earth is available to humans, and 40% of humans are currently faced with a shortage of water. Due to climate change and population growth, water shortages are becoming more serious. In the case of South Korea, the Water Poverty Index (WPI) is ranked 20th out of 29 member countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and per capita fresh water available per year. The amount is only 129 out of 153 countries, and it is classified as a global water-deficient country.

In order to solve such a water shortage, in addition to the development of water resources that increase the water supply, it is necessary to reduce the amount used and the amount of water leakage, and to create a structure where supply and consumption are circulated appropriately.

About 5% of the water used by mankind is consumed through the urinal. Separate male urinals are installed in general office buildings and public facilities. However, in the case of residential toilets such as those found in houses, apartments and office tellets, the space is small, so it is also aesthetically pleasing. Due to this problem, there is no separate urinal for men.

In such a conventional residential toilet, when a man performs treatment using rinsing water after urination, an enormous amount of water is wasted due to using the same water as when treating stool. Is the actual situation.

In addition, urine is scattered when men stool in an upright state with respect to conventional toilets, and the surrounding area is frequently contaminated, which is unhygienic and uncomfortable for the next user. In addition to giving, the stuttering that occurs when a male urine falls into the wash water has the problem of causing embarrassment in addition to discomfort.

In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention can be used by separately assembling and installing a male urinal in a flush toilet seat so that men can significantly reduce the amount of washing water used during urination. A Western-style toilet is provided.

In addition, in order to prevent dirt and stuttering due to urine scattering, it is intended to provide a Western-style toilet that can be rotated and adjusted in height so that urination can be performed from an appropriate position.

In order to solve the above problems, the structure of the integrated Western-style toilet equipped with a rotatable urinal according to the present invention has a lower end connected to an outlet of a flush toilet and an upper end connected to a male urinal on the left or right side. As one embodiment, a human body sensor is installed inside the urinal lid, and when the lid is opened, a sensing signal is transmitted to operate the water supply valve.

In one embodiment, the urinal lid and the urinal body are provided with contact sensors having contact terminals, respectively, and the water supply valve is operated when the lid is opened and the circuit is opened.

In one embodiment, the urinal connector is formed of a slide tube and adjusts the height of the urinal body.

In one embodiment, the urinal connector is formed of a flexible tube and adjusts the height and angle of the urinal body.

In the present invention, by separately assembling and using a male urinal, the amount of water used can be reduced by about 1/40 compared to when using a toilet when processing male urine. This has the effect of dramatically saving water.

In addition, urinal outlets are formed on both sides of the toilet bowl, and either the left or right side of the toilet bowl can be selected according to the toilet or bathroom space structure, and male urinals can be used in combination. This has the effect of eliminating the restrictions on installation space.

In addition, the rotation and height of the male urinal can be adjusted, and urine scattering and stuttering can be prevented, so that it is hygienic and can eliminate discomfort or embarrassment.

The urinal includes a main body that is a container for receiving urine, a connector that is attached to the lower end of the main body and is rotatable, and a discharge pipe that is connected to the discharge port of the flush toilet.

Hereinafter, an integrated Western-style toilet equipped with a rotatable urinal according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. It should be noted that the exemplary drawings are enlarged to show only the core contents for the sake of clarity of the invention, and the accompanying matters are omitted, and should not be interpreted as being limited to the drawings.

As shown in FIG. 1, the present invention includes a general flush toilet (10), a U-shaped trap urine drain (20) integrally formed on both rear sides of a toilet body, and a rotatable urine drain (20). A male urinal body (40) having a urinal connector (30) capable of height adjustment, a lid (41), and a water supply pipe (50) for distributing and discharging wash water and a water supply valve (42) It is configured.

The urine drainage tube (20) is integrally formed with the toilet bowl on both sides of the toilet bowl. Depending on the toilet and bathroom structure, the urine drainage pipe (20) has an appropriate space on the left or right side for a man to stand up and use easily. The urinal can be assembled by selecting. Plug the unused outlet with a cap.

The urine drain tube (20) is formed by a U-shaped trap so that the odor does not flow upward, the lower end (21) is connected to the toilet bowl drain tube, and the upper end (22) is the toilet bowl. It is formed on the upper surface of the seat and connected to the urinal connector (30).

The urinal connector (30) connects the urine drainage pipe (20) and the urinal body (40), and is formed of a material such as ceramic, stainless steel, or FRP, and has a rotation and height adjustment function. .

The urinal is rotated by using a coupling means that allows the urinal connector (30) to slide while the upright axis is maintained by slidingly inserting the urinal connector (30) into the urine drain tube (20). For example, in order to reduce friction, a slide bearing or the like is used in the urine discharge tube, and a watertight ring or packing ring is used to secure watertightness and airtightness, and the structure is fastened with a nut.

FIG. 5 shows an embodiment in which the height of the urinal connector (30) is adjusted. The height direction of the urinal connector (30) is determined by using an assembly type connector using a straight pipe (62) and a 90-degree elbow (61). The length of the straight pipe (62) is selected according to the height of the user and assembled. In this case, once assembled, the height becomes constant, but if height adjustment is required later, it can be dealt with by reassembling with a straight pipe (62) having an appropriate length.

FIG. 6 shows another embodiment relating to height adjustment. In this method, the lower end of the urinal connector (30) is used as a slide tube, and a structure that can be taken in and out according to the height of the user is used. That is, the guide groove (71) formed linearly along the length direction on the inner peripheral surface of the fixed outer slide tube (70), and the circumference so as to be perpendicular to the guide groove (71) Is provided with a groove combined with a hanging groove (74) formed along the outer periphery of the inner slide tube (73), and a protrusion (72) is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the inserted sliding inner tube (73). When the hooking protrusion (72) is taken in and out along the guide groove (71) of the outer pipe and is fixed, the height is adjusted by rotating and fixing along the hooking groove (74).

FIG. 7 shows an embodiment of the rotating device for adjusting the angle, in which the rotating device is installed at a position where it is connected to the lower end of the urinal body (40), and the angle is freely changed according to the user. The spherical body (84) of the rotating device is provided with a through hole (85), a connector (83) connected to the urinal body (40) is provided on one side, and an opening is provided on the other side to provide a funnel tube (83). ) So that urine is discharged. The support body (81) is a fixed part that supports the spherical body (84) so as to be able to rotate. The center part of the support body is slightly larger than the diameter of the body (84), and both ends are An empty space smaller than the diameter of the spherical body is formed, and the spherical body is wrapped and supported so as not to be detached. When the urinal body (40) connected to the connector (83) of the rotating device is moved to a desired angle, the spherical body (84) rotates and the angle is adjusted. At this time, in order to ensure airtightness and watertightness, a watertight ring or a packing ring can be used between the support (81) and the body (84).

FIG. 8 shows a flexible tube (90) used in another embodiment of height adjustment, and the flexible tube (90) has a bellows shape used for a faucet tube. Therefore, when this is used in place of the urinal connector (30), the rotation, height and angle of the urinal body (40) can be adjusted by using the flexibility and fixing property of the bellows.

The urinal body (40) has a lid (41) attached to the upper part of the urinal body (40) that is fully opened by a man for stool, and a flexible water supply pipe (behind it) so that the urinal can be washed ( 50), a distribution pipe (43), and a water supply valve (42). Moreover, the sensor for operating a water supply valve (42) is provided in the fixed part of the lid | cover (41) or the urinal main body (40).

The urinal lid (41) can be manually opened and closed by the user, and the valve can be mechanically opened and closed by air pressure or hydraulic pressure by a signal from a foot button or a touch sensor.

As the water supply valve (42), a button type manual on-off valve can be used, and it can be operated according to the signal of the sensor using an actuator such as a solenoid.

A human body sensor or a contact sensor can be used as a sensor for operating the actuator of the water supply valve.

FIG. 2 shows an embodiment equipped with a sensor. The human body sensor (44c) is configured such that an infrared sensor or the like is attached to the inside of the lid, and when the lid is fully opened, the human body is sensed to output a signal and operate the valve. The electrical wiring is aesthetically pleasing and can be embedded inside the lid. If the size of the valve and control PCB is large, the water supply valve (42) on the water pipe or wall where the water supply pipe (50) branches off Can be provided.

The operation of the water supply valve (42) senses the human body when a man opens the lid, sends a sensing signal, disperses and discharges the wash water before the stool, and then considers the stool time for the man (1 minute) After, etc.) Disperse and discharge the wash water again. If flush water is poured before the stool, the urine will not adhere to the urinal because the water film has already been formed, and the urine can be effectively washed after the stool, thus preventing odors. There is. In order to further save water, when the valve is operated only once, control is performed using a controller such as a microcomputer so that the valve operates after a predetermined time after the human body detection signal is transmitted.

In another embodiment of the sensor, a motion sensor that senses movement is attached, and a signal can be transmitted by sensing movement when a man opens and closes the lid.

When using a contact sensor, the contact terminals (44a, 44b) are attached to the urinal body (40) and the lid (41), respectively, and the wiring is embedded in the urinal body (40) and the lid (41). Constitutes a closed circuit. That is, when the lid is closed, a closed circuit that is short-circuited is formed and thus does not operate. When the lid is opened, an open circuit is formed and an operation signal is transmitted, so that the water supply valve is activated. In this case as well, if control is performed using a controller such as a microcomputer, the water supply valve can be set to operate simultaneously with the formation of the open circuit or after a predetermined time has elapsed, and the cleaning water is discharged once or twice. Can be controlled.

FIG. 2 shows a state in which the urinal body (40) is rotated 45 degrees and the urinal lid (41) is opened, and the enlarged cross-sectional view of the AA portion shows the urinal so that urine does not splash. It shows that the lip shape is formed upward at the entrance of the main body (40), and the dispersion discharge pipe (43) for dispersing and discharging the cleaning water is provided below the lip shape.

FIG. 3 shows a state in which the urinal body (40) is rotated by 90 degrees, and the urinal body (40) is rotated on the toilet bowl so that the space can be used comfortably after use. It is a figure where the inside of can be seen.

FIG. 4 shows another embodiment of the present invention in which both the water supply pipe (50) and the urine discharge pipe (20) are housed in the urinal connector (30). It is characterized by the finished appearance.

The present invention is not limited to the specific preferred embodiments described above, and any person who has ordinary knowledge in the technical field to which the present invention belongs unless it departs from the spirit of the present invention as claimed.
