Abstract

Provided is a speaker having a reduced thickness which can be used for various acoustic devices and information communication devices.  The speaker includes: a magnetic circuit formed by a yoke, an upper plate, and a magnet sandwiched by the yoke and the upper plate; and a frame connected to the magnetic circuit.  The yoke has a first concave/convex portion at the end thereof.  The frame has a second concave/convex portion at the internal circumference to be engaged with the first concave/convex portion.  As compared to a conventional speaker having the configuration that the yoke is inserted into and fixed to the internal circumference of the frame, the speaker of the present invention can have a small thickness by reducing the frame height by the thickness of the internal circumference.
