Description
The present invention relates to an antifouling filter used by being attached to a ventilation fan, a range hood, or the like.
Usually, a metal filter called a grease filter is attached to an intake port of a ventilation fan or a range hood. As a result, oily smoke, dust, etc. generated during cooking are collected so that internal parts such as a fan for exhausting smoke are not directly contaminated. This grease filter usually has a large number of small openings and irregularities and is troublesome to clean, and in order to reduce the trouble, it is often used with a disposable antifouling filter made of a material such as a nonwoven fabric on the outside. The basic performance of this type of antifouling filter includes antifouling properties and oil collecting properties. The antifouling property is a characteristic that prevents the grease filter from being contaminated without allowing the oil smoke or the like sucked by the range hood fan to pass through the filter. The oil trapping property is a characteristic of collecting oil contained in oil smoke or the like in the filter, and a larger amount is desired if the amount of trapping can be obtained.

In view of this point, the present invention has an object to provide an antifouling filter that has high antifouling properties and oil trapping properties, and also has a dripping prevention property of collected oil and can be used for a long period of time. To do.
The present invention is an antifouling filter attached to an exhaust port for exhausting an oil-containing atmosphere, the antifouling filter has a layer composed of fibers, and an oil component collected by being attached to the exhaust port is collected. An antifouling filter having a linear liquid blocking portion extending in a direction in which the transferred oil abuts is provided at an end of the transferring side.
The antifouling filter of the present invention exhibits high antifouling properties and oil trapping properties, and has the effect of being able to be used for a long period of time while preventing the collected oil from dripping as oil droplets.
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be shown and described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a partially cutaway perspective view showing an antifouling filter as an embodiment (Embodiment 1) of the present invention from the air inflow direction. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line II-II shown in FIG.
The
In the filter of this embodiment, the vertical direction Dx represents the mounting vertical direction, f is the upper side, and g is the lower side. An
In general, the dirt on the antifouling filter adheres to the center where oil smoke or the like rises up or at the center where the suction force of the fan suction port is strong, and spreads around the center by capillary force. However, it is not easy to reach the left or right direction or the four corners, and usually the oil component moves downward from the center of the dirt due to the influence of gravity. According to the
Further, as shown in FIG. 1, the

FIG. 3 is a side view of the
In the present embodiment, the attachment angle θ to which the
FIG. 4 is an exploded perspective view schematically showing a state in which the
In the
The width t 4 of the linear
FIG. 5 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing an enlarged state of oil collection in the
When the muddy stream W 1 containing oily smoke passes through the
Next, regarding the antifouling filter as the second, third, fourth, and fifth embodiments of the present invention, differences from the first embodiment will be mainly described with reference to FIGS. In the antifouling filter 20 of the second embodiment, as shown in FIG. 6, a total of two linear liquid blocking portions 7 (7a, 7b) of the upper one and the lower one are disposed, The
In the
Next, the antifouling filter 40 of the fourth embodiment will be described. As shown in FIG. 8, the linear
Further, in the
The antifouling filter of the present invention is not limited to the first to fifth embodiments. For example, the arrangement pattern and shape of the linear
The antifouling filter of each of the above embodiments has a three-layer structure, and an
The material of the sheet having the three-layer structure is not particularly limited, but considering that it is a relatively inexpensive and environmentally-friendly material suitable as a disposable material and that oil collection performance is preferable. The fiber sheet constituting the

When the constituent fiber of the filter is not a non-combustible fiber or a flame-retardant fiber, or when the flameproof property is insufficient even if it is a non-combustible fiber or a flame-retardant fiber, a halogen-based or phosphorus-based material is used in the post-processing step The flame retardant may be applied to the fiber, or a polyboric acid flame retardant may be applied to the fiber. Alternatively, a resin containing a flame retardant may be applied as a binder to the fiber surface to form the coating.
When the constituent fiber of the filter is not a non-combustible fiber or a flame retardant fiber, a synthetic fiber made of a known fiber-forming synthetic resin, for example, a polyolefin-based material such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutylene, polyethylene terephthalate, poly Fibers made of polyester materials such as butylene terephthalate, polyamide materials such as
The fiber of the fiber sheet is preferably set to have a fiber diameter of 5 μm or more and less than 35 μm. This fiber diameter is in a range smaller than the fiber diameter of the constituent fibers of the fiber sheet constituting the conventional oil collecting filter as commercially available. By using small-diameter fibers, the gaps between the fibers can be reduced, and as a result, the effect of collecting oily smoke and the like can be enhanced. From the viewpoint of further enhancing the effect of collecting oil smoke and the like without lowering the suction efficiency of oil smoke and the like by the fan, a more preferable fiber diameter of the constituent fibers of the filter is 7 μm or more and less than 25 μm. Further, by using a combination of fibers having different fiber diameters, high antifouling properties can be expressed. For example, a part of the fibers include fibers having a relatively large fiber diameter of 25 μm or more and less than 35 μm. However, it is preferable that the others are composed of thin fibers having a fiber diameter of 5 μm or more and less than 25 μm because a higher trapping effect can be obtained.
Although the basic weight of an antifouling filter is not specifically limited, 20-150 g / m < 2 > is preferable and it is more preferable that it is 20-100 g / m < 2 >. Moreover, although the thickness of a filter is not specifically limited, 0.5-10 mm is preferable and it is more preferable that it is 1-8 mm. In the present invention, unless otherwise specified, the thickness of the sheet or layer is based on the measurement method described in Examples described later.

In order to coat the fiber surface with a fluorine-based oil repellent, for example, a fluororesin emulsion may be applied to the fiber surface and dried. As a result, the fluororesin can be adhered to the surface of the fiber in a film form. By performing heat treatment after drying, the adhesion of the fluororesin attached to the fiber surface can be enhanced. In order to apply the fluororesin emulsion to the fiber surface, for example, the emulsion may be dipped (impregnated), sprayed with the emulsion, or foamed. As other methods, the surface of the fiber can be fluorinated to impart oil repellency by using diluted fluorine gas, low temperature plasma, or sputtering by glow discharge.
Fluororesin includes tetrafluoroethylene resin, tetrafluoroethylene / perfluoropropyl vinyl ether copolymer, tetrafluoroethylene / hexafluoropropylene copolymer, chlorotrifluoroethylene resin, ethylene / tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, fluoride Vinylidene resin, vinyl fluoride resin, hexafluoropropylene / vinylidene fluoride copolymer, polyimide-modified fluorine resin, PPS-modified fluorine resin, epoxy-modified fluorine resin, PES-modified fluorine resin, phenol-modified fluorine resin, Examples include acrylate polymers and methacrylate copolymers having a perfluoroalkylethylene group. Also, a fluororesin emulsion can be used. As such an emulsion, Asahi Guard (registered trademark) AG-7000, which is a fluorine resin manufactured by Asahi Glass, for example, can be used.
The amount of the fluororesin attached is preferably 0.1 to 10% by weight, more preferably 0.5 to 2% by weight, based on the weight of the fiber before the fluororesin is attached. By setting it to the above lower limit or more, sufficient oil repellency can be imparted to the fiber surface. Moreover, the fall of the air permeability of the filter resulting from excess adhesion is prevented by setting it as the said upper limit or less.

As the oil repellent used for the oil repellent treatment, a part of the surfactant can be used in addition to the fluorine-based oil repellent. Such a surfactant can exhibit oil repellency by applying it to a nonwoven fabric and drying it. For example, the oil repellency can be imparted to the fiber by applying a nonionic surfactant, alkyl glucoside, and an amphoteric surfactant, lauramidopropyl betaine, to a nonwoven fabric and drying. In addition, among the fibers in which an oil containing fluorine is applied to the surface, there are fibers in which the fiber surface exhibits oil repellency by heating, and such fibers can also be used in the present invention. Examples of such fibers include Ube Nitto's super-oil-repellent nonwoven cotton and UC fiber HR-PLE (trade name).
Examples of the fibers used when producing a nonwoven fabric using oil-repellent fibers include fibers in which fluorine is kneaded and fibers made of a fluororesin. Examples of such fibers include Toyoflon (registered trademark), which is a fluorine fiber manufactured by Toray, and Teflon (registered trademark) manufactured by DuPont.

In the above embodiment, the example in which the three layers are integrated by the edge seal portion 8 has been shown. However, it is also possible to stack fiber webs and inject a high-pressure water stream toward the fiber webs in this state. That is, it can be said that it is a spunlace nonwoven fabric in a broad sense. Alternatively, a fiber web is laminated, and hot air is blown onto the fiber web in this state to fuse and integrate the fibers of the fiber web and the fibers of the fiber web located on the other surface side. Furthermore, the fiber sheet of the fiber assembly formed into a sheet in advance is laminated, and in this state, the fiber sheet is partially fused by heat, and the fiber sheet and the net are fused and integrated to be fixed.
