Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle using a lane force material for reinforcing a vehicle body that enhances the rigidity of the vehicle body, and a cowl box in which the other end portion of the lane force material for vehicle body reinforcement whose one end portion is fixed in an engine room is beyond the dash panel. It relates to a cowl top cover that can be fixed to the section.
即ち、車体剛性を高めることによって、サスペンションの性能を引き出すことができ、コーナリング時での横G(走行中に働く横方向の力であって、コーナリング時には遠心力の作用によって、特に大きな横Gが車両全体に加わってくる。) Conventionally, it has been known to improve vehicle driving performance and steering stability by increasing vehicle body rigidity. That is, by increasing the rigidity of the vehicle body, it is possible to draw out the performance of the suspension. Lateral G during cornering (a lateral force that acts during traveling, and during cornering, a particularly large lateral G is caused by the action of centrifugal force. It is possible to prevent the body frame from being twisted due to the influence of the vehicle). In addition, effects such as suppressing changes in the tire contact angle are brought about by increasing the rigidity of the vehicle body.
However, if the vehicle body is reinforced to increase the vehicle body rigidity, the vehicle body weight increases, which adversely affects fuel consumption. Moreover, it will be directly affected by the road surface, which will adversely affect riding comfort.
These two relationships are often conflicting. That is, if a reinforcing material is added to increase the strength of the vehicle body, the mass increases and the vehicle body weight increases, resulting in poor fuel consumption. Conversely, if the weight is reduced by reducing the reinforcing member, the fuel efficiency is improved, but the torsional rigidity of the vehicle body is reduced.
The structure of the body of the monocoque, which is a monocoque body and frame integrated into the body structure, increases the build-up amount at the weld and adds welding points to increase the strength of the monocoque body structure. It has been done to raise.
In addition, in a body structure of a monocoque, a body structure is strengthened by connecting predetermined parts of the body with a reinforcing member. Furthermore, the body structure using the reinforcing member is adopted while improving the strength at the welded portion.
In addition, the body structure of the monocoque is configured so that the strength of the body is maintained throughout the combined parts.
A lane force material for reinforcing a vehicle body is used as a reinforcing member that connects predetermined parts of the body. As a configuration example using the lane force material, a front body structure of a vehicle described in Patent Document 1 is used. Etc. have been proposed. The front vehicle body structure described in Patent Document 1 is taken as a conventional example in the present invention, and FIG. 10 is a plan view of the main part of the front part of an automobile to which the front vehicle body structure is applied.
As shown in FIG. 10, the
In the front body structure described in Patent Document 1, the
In particular, in recent years, a design philosophy of a so-called man-maximum and machine-minimum design has been widely adopted that has a wide living space and a minimum engine room configuration with a drive source. For this reason, the space in the engine room is becoming narrower. In such a vehicle, if improvement in comfort and athletic performance is attempted, the space between the
Therefore, when the end of the
A configuration in which the
In addition, air with an odor in the engine compartment flows into the vehicle compartment through the through holes and notches formed in the
The present invention is intended to solve these problems in the prior art, and is made by paying attention to a cowl top cover disposed between the dash panel and the front wind seal, and has one end portion disposed on the engine. An object of the present invention is to provide a cowl top cover in which the other end portion of the lane force material fixed in the room can be fixed to the cowl box portion. The cowl top cover of the present invention allows outside air to be taken into the vehicle compartment and prevents air with an odor in the engine compartment from flowing into the vehicle compartment. .
The object of the present invention can be achieved by the inventions described in claims 1 to 5.
That is, according to the present invention, the cowl top cover is formed between the dash panel defining the engine room and the cowl box portion and the windshield seal, and is formed with an outside air introduction hole for introducing outside air into the vehicle interior. Each of the lane force members for reinforcing the vehicle body has one end fixed in the engine room and the other end fixed in the cowl box beyond the dash panel, and one end of each lane force member. The part side part and the other end part side part of each lane force material are defined by the cowl top cover, and the other end part of each lane force material is fixed to the cowl box part in the cowl box part. It is made in the cowl box portion, the cover and the other end of the linking member material from below, of the respective linking member material And the under cover the mounting hole for exposing a portion of the vehicle body panel to secure the ends is formed, wherein the under cover portion is constituted by separate members, the upper and the other end of each linking member material it and a first cover portion that covers from
A flow path is formed in the cowl top cover to guide outside air taken in from the outside air introduction hole into the vehicle compartment, and shuts off mixing of outside air introduced into the flow path and air in the engine room. The most important feature is that the portion is formed on the cowl top cover.
Further, the cowl top cover of the present invention, the other end portions of the linking member material, the disposed intersect in the cowl box portion, intersections that the intersecting is fixed to the cowl box portion, before The main feature of the blocking section is that it is provided in the periphery of the intersection.
Furthermore, in the cowl top cover of the present invention, the main feature is that the blocking portion is formed at a portion where the lane force material is sandwiched between the first cover portion and the under cover portion. Yes.
Furthermore, in the cowl top cover of the present invention, the main feature is that the blocking portion is provided at a contact portion between the first cover portion and the under cover portion.
Further, in the cowl top cover of the present invention, the main feature is that the blocking portion is configured as a member that covers and covers the periphery of the flow path that guides outside air taken in from the outside air introduction hole into the vehicle interior. There is no.
With the cowl top cover of the present invention, the fixed portion of the lane force material can be extended to the inside of the cowl box portion , while making the living space wider and satisfying the design requirements to minimize the configuration in the engine room By using a long lane force material, a reinforcing effect on the vehicle body can be obtained.
In addition, one end side of the lane force material fixed in the engine room and the lane force material fixed in the cowl box portion without forming a through hole or notch for penetrating the lane force material in the dash panel. The end side can be defined by a cowl top cover.
Further, the structure of the cowl top cover can have a function of preventing the air in the engine room from being mixed into the outside air taken into the vehicle compartment via the cowl top cover. Thereby, the intake performance of the air introduced into the vehicle interior can be secured.
In the present invention, the other end portions of the lane force members can be arranged so as to intersect with each other in the cowl box portion, and the intersecting intersection portion can be fixed to the cowl box portion. The length of the material can be long.
Moreover, as a configuration of the cowl top cover, an under cover portion that covers the intersection portion of the lane force material from below and a first cover portion that is configured separately from the under cover portion and covers the intersection portion from above. It can be configured to have.
With this configuration, after the under cover portion is placed, the intersection of the lane force materials can be fixed to the cowl box portion. After the intersection of the lane force materials is fixed to the cowl box portion, the first cover portion The intersection of lane force materials can be obscured. Moreover, by fixing the intersection portion of the lane force material to the cowl box portion, the lane force material can be arranged as two sides of the triangle, and the reinforcing effect for preventing the twisting of the body can be enhanced.
Further, a flow path for guiding the air taken from the outside air introduction hole of the cowl top cover into the vehicle interior can be formed in the cowl top cover. In addition, a blocking portion that prevents the air in the flow path and the air in the engine room from mixing can be formed in the cowl top cover.
Thus, even if the flow path for guiding the outside air to the vehicle interior is not specially configured, the cowl top cover having the blocking portion can be configured as an independent air flow path from the outside air introduction hole of the cowl top cover to the vehicle interior. I can leave. In addition, by using the cowl top cover according to the present invention between the dash panel and the front window seal, the intersection of the lane force materials can be fixed to the cowl box. And the said independent air flow path can be comprised in a motor vehicle.
In this invention, the said interruption | blocking part can be formed in the site | part which has inserted the lane force material between the 1st cover part and the under cover part.
With this configuration, the blocking portion can be formed in a portion where the lane force material is sandwiched between the first cover portion and the under cover portion, and air on the engine room side enters the cowl top cover. Can be prevented. At this time, as the blocking portion, a sealing material, a sponge material, a porous foam, or the like that can surround the outer peripheral surface of the lane force material can be used.
In this invention, the said interruption | blocking part can be provided in the site | part which a 1st cover part and an under cover part contact | abut.
With this configuration, the flow path for guiding the air taken from the outside air introduction hole of the cowl top cover to the vehicle interior is formed on the outer peripheral side of the first cover portion of the cowl top cover independently of the engine room. I can leave. Thereby, it is possible to effectively prevent the odor in the engine room from flowing into the vehicle interior. As the blocking portion, a sealing material, a sponge material, a porous foam, or the like can be used.
In the present invention, the blocking portion can cover the periphery of the flow path for guiding the air taken from the outside air introduction hole of the cowl top cover to the vehicle interior. As a configuration for covering the periphery of the flow path, the material that forms the cowl top cover may be configured to surround the vertical and horizontal directions of the flow path, or the member that is separate from the member that forms the cowl top cover may be used. It can also be configured so as to surround the vertical and horizontal directions of the road. Alternatively, the outside air introduction hole of the cowl top cover and the vehicle interior can be communicated with each other using a tube or the like.
Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be specifically described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. As the cowl top cover of the present invention, in addition to the configuration described below, any configuration and configuration that can solve the problems of the present invention should be adopted as the cowl top cover according to the present invention. Is something that can be done. For this reason, this invention is not limited to the Example demonstrated below, A various change is possible.

Further, the arrangement configuration in which the

In order to cross the ends of the pair of
As shown in FIG. 1, the
Further, as shown in FIG. 4, the
As shown in FIG. 5, after attaching the
As shown in FIG. 1, the pair of strut tower bars 9 is sandwiched between the sandwiching

As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, a hood
With the fixing
As a result, as shown in FIG. 1, the crossing
